    In the given Article an effort was made to judge Schimmel's studyabout Meer Dard r.a and Shah Abdul Lateef Bhataiy  r.a. For thiswe  meticulously  examine  one  of  Schimmel's  best  book 'Pain  andGr ace-  A  STUDY  OF  TWO  MYSTICAL  WRITERS  OFEIGHTEENTH-CENTURY  MUSLIM  INDIA'   about   saidrenowned mystic personalities who not only casted a great shadowon Urdu and Sindhi literature but they also attracted masses, atlarge.  In  fact,  these  Spirituals,  enthralled  their  era  and  left  a  richSufi legacy to be followed. Schimmel did best, to give a vividpicture of that time in which these personalities embarked theirSufi traditions and enlightened their milieu. How were theseGiants? What best they produce?
