A Comparative Analysis of Nationalist Political Consciousness in Bano Qudsia and Zahida Hina's Short Stories
Political Awareness is a vital need of the present world. Pakistan is a politically under developed country that is why it lacks national political sensibility. Bano Qudsia and Zahida Hina are famous Urdu Fiction writers. Both have different professional backgrounds. This article discusses their contrasting way of judging events and presenting national political consciousness in their selective short stories. Comparative methods are used here for foregrounding the differences among the political conscience of both writers.

An Analysis of Asad Muhammad Khan's Ghus Bethia
The short story Ghus Bethia of Asad M Khan is included in his collection of Burj Khamooshan. The story presents a tragedy that occurred on December 3, 1983, in which thousands of people were killed due to the release of toxic gas. Two characters Bibin Yar Khan and Doolchin Lakhera were also killed in this accident. Both were abandoned characters of society that people hated. Circumstances brought them together and they remained together till death. No one supported them But the two of them used to feed each other clean their hearts and wounds and keep sharing their pain and sorrow. The real humanity that is extinct in society is shown in them: Bibin Yar and Doolchin
