Leadership Style and Pedagogical Management in Education for the Work of Public Institutions
Get PDFThe research in question is basic and correlational, focusing on the relationship between leadership styles and pedagogical management in the educational field. A descriptive method with a correlational design was used to carry out the study. The sample was composed of 29 teachers from two secondary level educational institutions with a technical variant, belonging to the UGEL Junín. The main objective of this research is to determine the relationship between leadership styles and pedagogical management specifically in the context of education for work in these educational institutions. The data were obtained through the use of the Leadership Styles Questionnaire (CELID-A), as well as through a pedagogical management questionnaire. These instruments allowed to collect the necessary information to analyze the relationship between leadership styles and pedagogical management in the context of the research. In conclusion, it was found that the transformational leadership style is directly related to pedagogical management, evidenced by a value of r = 0.750, which indicates a high and direct positive correlation. On the other hand, the laissez-faire leadership style presents an inverse relationship with pedagogical management, with a value of r = -0.787, which indicates a high negative correlation and direct inverse. In contrast, the transactional leadership style does not show a significant relationship with pedagogical management, suggesting a low negative correlation. The transformational leadership style is the one that predominates in the Pedagogical Management in education for work of the educational institutions of the UGEL Junín. This approach is characterized by its ability to inspire and motivate teachers, promoting an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement in educational processes.La investigación en cuestión es de tipo básico y de nivel correlacional, enfocándose en la relación entre los estilos de liderazgo y la gestión pedagógica en el ámbito educativo. Se utilizó un método descriptivo con un diseño correlacional para llevar a cabo el estudio. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 29 docentes de dos instituciones educativas de nivel secundario con variante técnica, pertenecientes a la UGEL Junín. El objetivo principal de esta investigación es determinar la relación existente entre los estilos de liderazgo y la gestión pedagógica específicamente en el contexto de la educación para el trabajo en estas instituciones educativas. Los datos fueron obtenidos mediante el uso del Cuestionario de Estilos de Liderazgo (CELID-A), así como a través de un cuestionario de gestión pedagógica. Estos instrumentos permitieron recopilar la información necesaria para analizar la relación entre los estilos de liderazgo y la gestión pedagógica en el contexto de la investigación. En conclusión, se halló que el estilo de liderazgo transformacional se relaciona de manera directa con la gestión pedagógica, evidenciado por un valor de r = 0.750, lo cual indica una correlación positiva alta y directa. Por otro lado, el estilo de liderazgo laissez-faire presenta una relación inversa con la gestión pedagógica, con un valor de r =-0.787, lo que indica una correlación negativa alta y directa inversa. En contraste, el estilo de liderazgo transaccional no muestra una relación significativa con la gestión pedagógica, lo que sugiere una correlación negativa baja. El estilo de liderazgo transformacional es el que predomina en la Gestión Pedagógica en educación para el trabajo de las instituciones educativas de la UGEL Junín. Determination of the enzymatic activity and the percentage of PPO inhibition in the carom sheets post-treated by blanching and osmodehydration
Get PDFThis study evaluates the enzymatic activity and the percentage of PPO Inhibition in starfruit slices treated with blanching and osmodehydration to improve their stability and quality. The research was carried out, applying a 2k factorial experimental design with two main factors: blanching time (10 and 30 seconds) and sucrose concentration (50 and 60 °Brix).
The results showed that blanching time has a significant impact on the reduction of PPO enzymatic activity, with the 30-second treatment being more effective. On the other hand, sucrose concentration showed a minor influence, although it contributed to the variability of the data. The optimal treatment for PPO inhibition reached 82.76% with prolonged blanching and an intermediate concentration of sucrose. This shows that blanching is crucial to control enzymatic browning, while osmodehydration complements the process by limiting the availability of water for enzymatic action. It is concluded that the combination of thermal and osmotic treatments allows improving the physicochemical quality and enzymatic stability of the processed star fruit, suggesting the optimization of these variables for their application in derived products.Este estudio evalúa la actividad enzimática y el porcentaje de Inhibición de la PPO en láminas de carambola tratadas con escaldado y osmodeshidratación para mejorar su estabilidad y calidad. La investigación se llevó a cabo, aplicando un diseño experimental factorial 2k con dos factores principales: tiempo de escaldado (10 y 30 segundos) y concentración de sacarosa (50 y 60 °Brix).
Los resultados mostraron que el tiempo de escaldado tiene un impacto significativo en la reducción de la actividad enzimática de la PPO, siendo más efectivo el tratamiento de 30 segundos. Por otro lado, la concentración de sacarosa mostró una influencia menor, aunque contribuyó a la variabilidad de los datos. El tratamiento óptimo para la inhibición de la PPO alcanzó un 82.76% con un escaldado prolongado y una concentración intermedia de sacarosa. Esto evidencia que el escaldado es crucial para controlar el pardeamiento enzimático, mientras que la osmodeshidratación complementa el proceso al limitar la disponibilidad de agua para la acción enzimática. Se concluye que la combinación de tratamientos térmicos y osmóticos permite mejorar la calidad fisicoquímica y la estabilidad enzimática de la carambola procesada, sugiriendo la optimización de estas variables para su aplicación en productos derivados
Application of Quantum Computing in modern environments: Systematic review of the literature
Get PDFQuantum computing is a concept that has innovated traditional computing, its multidisciplinary nature combines computing, physics and mathematics together with quantum mechanics in search of solving complex problems. After the systematic review of the literature in various databases covering the period of the last 10 years under selection criteria, a total of 11 studies were obtained with the theme of the "application" of "quantum computing". It is concluded that the research published until 2020 presents various applications of quantum computing; However, it is evident that multiple disciplines that could benefit from this concept have not yet presented practical studies. This review intends to promote research to innovate in the application of quantum computing in other disciplines in favor of scientific development.La computación cuántica, es un concepto que ha innovado a la computación tradicional, su naturaleza multidisciplinaria combina la computación, la física y matemáticas aunado a la mecánica cuántica en busca de la resolución de problema complejos. Realizada la revisión sistemática de la literatura en diversas bases de datos que abarca el periodo de los últimos 10 años bajo criterios de selección, se obtuvieron un total de 11 estudios con la temática de la “aplicación” de la “computación cuántica”. Se concluye que la investigación publicada hasta el 2020, presenta diversas aplicaciones de la computación cuántica; sin embargo, se evidencia que múltiples disciplinas que pudiesen beneficiarse de este concepto, aún no presentan estudios prácticos, con la presente revisión se pretende impulsar a realizar investigación para innovar en la aplicación de la computación cuántica en otras disciplinas en pro del desarrollo científico
Influence of an interactive system with auditory feedback on the learning of the English language in people with visual impairment
Get PDFThis study investigated the influence of an interactive system with auditory feedback on English language learning in visually impaired people. It was hypothesized that such a system significantly improves English listening and speaking skills in this population. The research adopted a pre-experimental design (G: O1-X-O2) with a sample of 24 participants with various degrees of visual impairment, selected from the Pampas Hospital, Peru. Pre- and post-intervention tests were carried out to evaluate listening and speaking skills, using a system developed under the DESED methodology and evaluated with the ISO/IEC 25010 standard. The results showed an improvement of 31.94% in listening ability (pre-test: 24.54%; post-test: 56.48%) and 38.64% in speaking ability (pre-test: 15.15%; post-test: 53.79%), confirming the general hypothesis (p < 0.05). The system obtained a quality rating of 9.36/10. These findings highlight the potential of inclusive technologies to overcome learning barriers in people with visual impairments, opening new educational and social opportunities.Este estudio investigó la influencia de un sistema interactivo con retroalimentación auditiva en el aprendizaje del idioma inglés en personas con deficiencia visual. Se planteó la hipótesis de que dicho sistema mejora significativamente las habilidades de escuchar y hablar inglés en esta población. La investigación adoptó un diseño preexperimental (G: O1-X-O2) con una muestra de 24 participantes con diversos grados de deficiencia visual, seleccionados del Hospital de Pampas, Perú. Se realizaron pruebas pre y post intervención para evaluar las habilidades de escucha y habla, utilizando un sistema desarrollado bajo la metodología DESED y evaluado con la norma ISO/IEC 25010. Los resultados mostraron una mejora del 31.94% en la habilidad de escuchar (pre-test: 24.54%; post-test: 56.48%) y del 38.64% en la habilidad de hablar (pre-test: 15.15%; post-test: 53.79%), confirmando la hipótesis general (p < 0.05). El sistema obtuvo una valoración de calidad de 9.36/10. Estos hallazgos destacan el potencial de tecnologías inclusivas para superar barreras de aprendizaje en personas con discapacidad visual, abriendo nuevas oportunidades educativas y sociales
Mobile Application to Educate on the Technified Rearing of Guinea Pigs, for the Promotion and Development of the High Andean Regions of Peru

While it is true that guinea pig rearing is a common practice in the regions of Peru, in most cases, it is the economic livelihood for communities. However, despite its importance, guinea pig rearing faces challenges related to the lack of access to updated information and modern techniques that could enhance production and the quality of life of breeders. Therefore, the creation of a mobile application is proposed to provide information and guidance to promote and develop the high Andean regions of Peru. The objective of this research is the development of a mobile app aimed at teaching and technified guinea pig rearing in the high Andean regions of Peru to empower breeders with the necessary tools and knowledge to improve their production. Providing up-to-date information on best practices in guinea pig rearing, YACHAY CUY aims to bring users from different regions together on a single platform, allowing them to stay connected and communicate through a forum or chat, where they can share experiences, address questions, and provide mutual support.La presente investigación propone la creación de un aplicativo móvil para educar en la crianza tecnificada del cuy, para el impulso y desarrollo en las regiones alto andinas del Perú. Si bien es cierto la crianza de cuyes es una práctica habitual en las regiones del Perú, pero en la mayoría de los casos es el sustento económico para las comunidades. Sin embargo, a pesar de su importancia, la crianza de cuyes enfrenta desafíos relacionados con la falta de acceso a información actualizada y técnicas modernas que podrían mejorar la producción y la calidad de vida de los criadores. Por tal motivo se propone la creación de una aplicación móvil que brinde información y asesoramiento, para el impulso y desarrollo en las regiones alto andinas del Perú. El objetivo de la presente investigación es el desarrollo de un aplicativo móvil destinado a la enseñanza y crianza tecnificada del cuy en las regiones alto andinas del Perú. Application of vertical axis wind turbines as a sustainable solution for electricity supply in vulnerable urban markets
Get PDFThis work presents the design and implementation of a vertical axis wind turbine as a sustainable energy alternative for urban areas that experience frequent electricity outages. The project was carried out at the San Valentín Market, located in San Martín de Porres, Lima, where instability in electrical supply affects commercial development. An integrated methodology was employed, using both qualitative and quantitative tools, such as surveys, interviews, experimental testing of the prototype, and social validation. The results revealed that 70% of the merchants expressed interest in implementing this system, highlighting its efficiency, low maintenance, quiet operation, and minimal environmental impact. It is concluded that the adoption of vertical axis wind turbines in urban environments represents a technically viable and socially accepted solution, with potential for replication in other similar contexts.Este trabajo presenta el diseño y la puesta en marcha de un aerogenerador de eje vertical como alternativa energética sostenible para zonas urbanas que experimentan cortes frecuentes de electricidad. El proyecto se llevó a cabo en el Mercado San Valentín, ubicado en San Martín de Porres, Lima, donde la inestabilidad del suministro eléctrico afecta el desarrollo comercial. Se empleó una metodología integral, utilizando tanto herramientas cualitativas como cuantitativas, tales como encuestas, entrevistas, pruebas experimentales del prototipo y validación social. Los resultados revelaron que el 70% de los comerciantes mostró interés en implementar este sistema, destacando su eficiencia, bajo mantenimiento, operación silenciosa y escaso impacto ambiental. Se concluye que la adopción de aerogeneradores de eje vertical en entornos urbanos representa una solución técnica viable y aceptada socialmente, con potencial para ser replicada en otras realidades similares
Application of Lean Office and Artificial Intelligence to optimize hospital management for improving Efficiency and Quality of services in Peru

By combining Lean Office and Artificial Intelligence in hospital management, the aim is to improve both the efficiency and quality of the services provided. This involves identifying and eliminating inefficiencies in administrative and clinical processes, automating routine tasks, optimizing resources, and making better informed decisions through data analysis. The objective of this research is to optimize administrative and operational management by providing a better quality of service to the user. Through the elimination of waste, the automation of processes and data analysis, with the implementation of Lean Office and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the management of public hospitals in Peru. This research will be carried out, with the aim of not only summarizing the existing research on the topic, but also to include an element of critical analysis, which is based on the PRISMA methodology, for the article was used, data collection and the analysis of case studies such as GOOGLE ACADEMIC, SCIELO, SPRINGER LINK, REDALYC and PROQUEST. Using rigorous and delimiting guidelines where journals from the year 2017-2023 were used, the searches were carried out in Spanish as well as in English. This research shows that the combination of Lean Office and Artificial Intelligence can reduce costs and optimize processes, making it an effective strategy to address the existing challenges in Peru\u27s public hospitals, potentially resulting in more efficient and higher-quality healthcare for patients.El presente estudio propone la combinación de lean office e inteligencia artificial para mejorar la calidad y eficiencia en la gestión de los hospitales públicos del Perú. Al combinar Lean Office e Inteligencia Artificial en la gestión hospitalaria, se busca mejorar tanto en la eficiencia como en la calidad de los servicios proporcionados. Esto implica la identificación y eliminación de ineficiencias en los procesos administrativos y clínicos, la automatización de tareas rutinarias, la optimización de recursos y la mejor toma de decisiones informadas por medio del análisis de datos. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo optimizar la gestión administrativa y operativa brindando una mejor calidad de atención al usuario. Mediante la eliminación de desperdicios, la automatización de procesos y el análisis de datos, con la implementación de Lean Office e Inteligencia Artificial (IA) en la gestión de los hospitales públicos del Perú. Esta investigación se llevará a cabo, con el objetivo no sólo de resumir la investigación sobre el tema existente, sino también para incluir un elemento de análisis crítico, que se basa en la metodología PRISMA, para el artículo se utilizó, la recopilación de datos y el análisis de casos de estudio como GOOGLE ACADÉMICO, SCIELO, SPRINGER LINK, REDALYC y PROQUEST. Utilizando pautas rigurosas y delimitantes donde se utilizaron revistas del año 2017-2023, las búsquedas se realizaron en español como en inglés. A partir de esta investigación muestran que la combinación de Lean Office e Inteligencia Artificial puede reducir costos y optimizar procesos, siendo una estrategia efectiva para abordar los desafíos existentes en el hospital públicos del Perú, lo que puede resultar en una atención médica más eficiente y de mayor calidad para los pacientes
Implementation of a web-based system based on the ICONIX methodology, aimed at optimizing the management and administration of IT services in the Public Ministry
Get PDFThe main objective of the research was to optimize the management and administration of IT services in the Public Prosecutor\u27s Office by implementing a web-based system based on the ICONIX methodology.
The study was classified as applied, with a predominantly quantitative approach complemented by qualitative techniques. A single-group pre-experimental design with pretest–posttest measurements was used, allowing for the evaluation of the impact of the technological proposal. The population considered in the methodology presents inconsistencies, as it was defined in the manuscript as the IT requirements of the Public Prosecutor\u27s Office with a sample of 80 records.
Regarding the quantitative results, hypothesis tests showed a significance value of p = 0.000 (< 0.05) with a 95% confidence level, demonstrating statistically significant differences and confirming the positive effects of the predictive model in reducing attrition. It is concluded that the use of machine learning is relevant and effective, provided there is adequate data management and a solid institutional implementation.El objetivo principal de la investigación fue optimizar la gestión y administración de los servicios de TI en el Ministerio Público mediante la implementación de un sistema web basado en la metodología ICONIX.
El estudio se clasificó como aplicado, con un enfoque predominantemente cuantitativo complementado con técnicas cualitativas, y se utilizó un diseño preexperimental de un solo grupo con medición pretest–postest, lo que permitió evaluar el impacto de la propuesta tecnológica. La población considerada en la metodología presenta inconsistencias, pues se definió en el manuscrito como los requerimientos de TI del Ministerio Público con una muestra de 80 registros.
En cuanto a los resultados cuantitativos, las pruebas de hipótesis mostraron un valor de significancia p = 0.000 (< 0.05) con un nivel de confianza del 95%, evidenciando diferencias estadísticamente significativas y confirmando los efectos positivos del modelo predictivo en la reducción de la deserción. Se concluye que el uso de machine learning es pertinente y efectivo, siempre que exista una adecuada gestión de datos y una implantación institucional sólida
