Fifty Years of the Ćirić Fixed Point Theorem on Quasi-Contractions
The notion of quasi-contractions was introduced by Lj. B. Ćirić [ 2]. The paper
[2] has been cited over 700 times up to now. The result on existence and uniqueness of fixed point for quasi-contractions by Ćirić is one of the most general results in the metrical fixed point theory (see [ 1]). In this talk (paper), we present a short survey of development of theory of quasi-contractive mappings, their generalizations and applications. Further, using quasi-contractive inequality with the non-linear comparison function, we obtain a result on existence and uniqueness of the common fixed point for hybrid pair
of single-valued and multi-valued mapping defined on b-metric spaces. Our result generalizes earlier results obtained in [ 3] and [ 4]. Also, we give the application of the obtained results to dynamic systems
An Equivalent of Schwarz lemma and its Generalizations and Applications
The Schwarz lemma is one of the most influential results in complex analysis and it has a great impact to the development of several research fields, such as geometric function theory, hyperbolic geometry, complex dynamical systems, and theory of quasi-conformal mappings. It means that any holomorphic function f of the unit disc into itself such that f(0) = 0 maps each disc centered at zero into a smaller one. Moreover it maps each disc with center at zero into a strictly smaller disc if it is not a rotation. In first part of this talk will be presented a brief survey of results of Academician Mateljevi´ c which is connected with Schwarz lemma.
In second part of this talk will be proved one fixed point result from [1], which is equivalent with Schwarz lemma. Some generalizations and applications of this result will be also presented

consumption in several European countries, in the period from 2011 to 2022. The results are
presented through diagrams that clearly illustrate CO2 emissions per capita, broken down by different types of fuel, allowing for better insight into their contribution to total emissions
Green Buildings, Energy Efficiency and Raising Awareness About Environmental Protection
The main goal of this research is the integration of green building practices, energy
efficiency measures, and raising awareness about environmental protection as
crucial in addressing the pressing challenges of climate change and resource
depletion. This research encompasses the correlations of these elements and their
results as impact on sustainable development. Green building principles
emphasize the use of eco-friendly materials, energy-efficient designs, and
sustainable construction techniques to minimize environmental impact. Raising
awareness about environmental protection require researching and positive
practice analysing in order to be able for making optimal eco-conscious decisions.
The goal is mitigating climate change, conserving natural resources, and creating
healthier living environments. This manuscript underscores the necessity of
integrating these strategies to achieve long-term sustainability goals and foster a
greener, more resilient future for generations to come. Two the most efficient
world’s models of green buildings are presented in this manuscript, with its
particular results in energy efficiency achievements
Information Technology In The Function Of Circular Economy and Sustainable Development
The integration of information technologies (IT) into the framework of circular economy and sustainable
development has become increasingly crucial in addressing contemporary environmental challenges. This
paper presents a comprehensive review of the role of IT in advancing circular economy principles and
fostering sustainable development practices. Information technologies such as big data analytics, Internet of
Things (IoT), blockchain, and artificial intelligence (AI) are examined for their potential to optimize resource
management, enhance supply chain transparency, and facilitate the transition towards a circular economy
model. Moreover, the paper explores how IT solutions contribute to sustainable production and consumption
patterns, enabling businesses and consumers to make informed decisions that minimize negative
environmental impact. Additionally, the synergies between IT and renewable energy systems are discussed,
highlighting their combined potential to drive sustainable development initiatives. Furthermore, the
challenges and opportunities associated with the application of IT in the context of circular economy and
sustainable development are outlined, emphasizing the need for interdisciplinary collaboration and policy
support. Overall, this review paper underscores the pivotal role of information technologies in promoting

Specifics of Experimental and Fem Approaches in Structural Integrity Assessment of Penstock Made of HSLA Steel
Taking into account the history of problems concerning high-strength low-alloyed (HSLA)
steel used for manufacturing of penstocks (partly presented by authors in previous studies), this paper is oriented toward specifics on structural integrity assessment of construction in question.
Experimental testing of parent material, i.e. HSLA steel, such as microstructure analysis, impact toughness testing and hardness measuring provide insight into characteristics of parent material properties. Considering geometry of penstock and specific requirements, finite element method (FEM), i.e. ABAQUS, was used to assess the structural integrity of penstock as a whole, specific the longitudinal welded joint under the different internal (working) pressure. It should be emphasized that a slight undermatching effect was investigated by FEM approach in this case. Focus is being put on plastic deformation investigation on aforementioned welded joint under maximum internal pressure of 120 bar

Integrated Adaptive Microlearning System for Healthcare Professionals
A microlearning system providing up-to-date and on-time information relevant to the current work of the (bio)medical professionals was developed. The system uses a microlearning approach and adapts to the working procedure of the medical professionals. The microlearning system for healthcare professionals is built in Java programming language and Spring framework and supports three different (bio)medical knowledge sources: clinical practice guidelines documents, classification data from databases, and prepared content for specific diseases and drugs. Microlearning system enables the integration of the learning process into the (bio)medical working procedure. It aims to help medical workers gain additional information about a patient and his condition or prescribed medication. Unlike existing microlearning systems for healthcare professionals that are mostly used outside the working hours and mobile-based, the microlearning system developed in this research is designed to be used during the consultation with the patient within the (bio)medical professional’s workflowContract no. 451-03-136/2025-03/20021
Fixed point theorem for extended nonlinear quasi-contractions on b-metric spaces
In this paper, we present fixed point theorem for mappings defined on b-metric spaces, which
satisfies extended quasi-contractive inequality with nonlinear comparison function. Our result
generalizes and improves several recent results from fixed point theory
