Beberapa gaya seni populer ditemukan pula sebagai bagian yang terintegrasi dalam pertunjukan Rabab Pasisia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai estetis alat musik Rabab Pasisia. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Yang mengarah ke nilai estetis alat musik rabab pesisir selatan. alat musik rabab juga memiliki nilai tersendiri yang bisa menghasilkan alunan bunyi yang indah
Strategi Pengelolaan Pariwisata Heritage Di Kota Sawahlunto Untuk Mendukung Pariwisata Berkelanjutan
Get PDFThe city of Sawahlunto, designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has great potential as an international heritage tourism destination. However, challenges such as cultural preservation, local community empowerment, and infrastructure development are still major obstacles. This research aims to formulate a sustainable heritage tourism management strategy through a qualitative approach based on literature review. The results showed that the success of heritage tourism management in Sawahlunto depends on the preservation of cultural assets, participation of local communities, strengthening branding, and utilization of digital technology for promotion. Synergy among stakeholders, such as the government, community, and private sector, is crucial in supporting the implementation of this strategy. With a holistic approach, Sawahlunto has not only maintained its status as a world heritage site, but also become a model of sustainable heritage tourism destination in Indonesia
SONGKET NAGARI UNGGAN KAJIAN BENTUK DAN FUNGSI
Get PDFThe research conducted in Nagari Unggan aims to describe the form of motifs and product forms produced by songket craftsmen, as well as to find out what the functions of Nagari Unggan songket are. The theory used in this study is the theory of form, function, songket, motifs, clothing and products, while the method used in this study is qualitative, data collection is carried out by observation, documentation and interviews. Songket Unggan has 30 motifs that are typical of the area, 15 motifs are very popular in the market, namely the Unggan thousand hills, lansek manih, tampuak manggi, cantik manis, cemara, lotus, chain, kelok lontiak, itiak pulang patang, makota, bintang, rangkiang, rumah gadang, pucuak rebung and pintuek motifs. Songket Nagari Unggan also uses other regional motifs, namely motifs from Pandai Sikek, Halaban and Silungkang. Products produced by songket craftsmen in Nagari Unggan include Koko shirts, skirts or kodek, kuruang shirts or tunics, gamis shirts, jackets, tingkuluak, shawls, scarves, deta, outer, shirts, wallets, bucket hats, peci, bags, and household items such as tablecloths. The function of songket in Nagari Unggan is used for traditional events, and parties, and also used as everyday clothing
A Study of the Visual Meaning in the Comic Hai Miiko by Ono Eriko (Based on Ferdinand de Saussure's Semiotics)
Get PDFThis study examines the Hai Miiko comic, popular among Indonesian teenagers, which tells the story of Miiko, a cheerful fifth-grader experiencing puberty. Using Ferdinand de Saussure's semiotic theory, the research analyzes the comic's visual elements, language, and context to uncover deeper meanings and symbolism. Key concepts such as synchronic and diachronic analysis, langue and parole, signifier and signified, syntagmatic and paradigmatic structures, and denotation and connotation are applied to dissect the semiotic aspects of the comic. The findings reveal that Hai Miiko not only depicts the daily lives of teenagers but also serves as a visual representation of the journey to adulthood. Through symbolic imagery and a distinct artistic style, Ono Eriko effectively portrays emotional growth and self-discovery, inviting readers to reflect on childhood nostalgia and the challenges of growing up. This study emphasizes that comics, beyond being entertainment, can convey profound meanings and cultural insights through their visuals and narratives

Al-Farabi, a great philosopher from the Classical Islamic period, offers valuable insights into education and learning, which are applicable in the context of music art teaching. The article elucidates how Al-Farabi's views, particularly on ethics, morality, and happiness, can be integrated into a training model based on Computer Support Collaborative Learning (CSCL) to enrich the art teachers' learning experience. Furthermore, it provides an overview of how digital music notation can be implemented in high school cultural arts education and why this approach is relevant in the rapidly evolving context of music education. This article is expected to serve as a guide for developing a holistic and philosophical training model in music art education, focusing on understanding digital music notation and applying Al-Farabi's philosophical principles in the learning process. Additionally, this research highlights the importance of integrating technology in art education, demonstrating how digital approaches can broaden the horizons of music art learning. Pengembangan Tari Tradisional Sebagai Tari Kreasi untuk Atraksi Pariwisata Budaya
Get PDFArtikel ini membahas mengenai pengembangan tari tradisional sebagai bahan dalam pengembangan tari kreasi baru dengan tujuan akhir sebagai atraksi pariwisata budaya. Tujuannya untuk merekomendasikan formula pengembangan tari kreasi dalam dunia pariwisata budaya, yang dewasa ini lazim dinamakan sebagai tari wisata atau pariwisata tari. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan data data utama dari berbagai referensi menggunakan metode studi literatur, yang dibandingkan data temuan lapangan yang didapatkan melalui metode diskusi kelompok terpumpun (FGD). Penelitian berangkat dari teori seni pariwisata RM Soedarsono (1999). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan tari kreasi sebagai atraksi pariwisata dapat dilakukan dengan memperhatikan unsur-unsur koreografi dengan beberapa penyesuaian yang menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan atraksi pariwisata antara lain berupa gerak, musik, kostum yang relatif lebih ringan jika dibandingkan dengan tari kreasi pada umumnya, apalagi jika dibandingkan dengan unsur-unsur tari tradisional

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, observasi, dan studi pustaka. Analisis data dilakukan berdasarkan teori yang dikemukakan oleh Sugiyono yaitu reduksi data, sajian data, penarikan kesimpulan yang dikemukakan oleh H.B. Sutopo dan Penyajian data yang dikemukakan oleh Sudaryanto. Simpulan penelitian ini bahwa Continuity Editing dapat membangun dramatisasi pada film Sejuta Sayang Untuknya . Terlihat dari beberapa scene yang sudah penulis teliti menggunakan Continuity Editing untuk menjaga kesinambungan agar dapat membuat sebuah scene menjadi satu shot yang mengalir dan membuat penonton nyaman dan tidak bingung saat menonton. Secondly, there is no ready to wear deluxe (rtw-deluxe) that applies batik tulis motifs of the “Jangka Kala” (time) and makrame. Therefore, the purpose of this creation is to enrich the form of rtw-deluxe that can function as a media to remind the importance of time in human life. The form of the work refers to Resilent, namely Heritage with the sub-theme Reminiscene Rtw-deluxe was chosen because it has an exclusive, classy impression and is able to accommodate the creative ideas of the author. The method of creation used is exploration, design, and realization. Using a qualitative descriptive method, this research analyzes how narrative elements, acting, and natural settings in the performance contribute to the effectiveness of ecological communication. The results show that the performance successfully enhanced the audience's understanding of environmental issues and motivated them to take more proactive actions in preserving the environment.
