Development and Experimental Study of Bond between FRP Rebar and Concrete
Fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) bars are frequently used in civil engineering. due to their many benefits, which include excellent weight-to-strength ratio, light weight, ease of handling, electromagnetic neutrality, and lack of rust, as an alternative to reinforcement steel. FRP has also developed into a competitive and cost-effective structural material as production machinery advances and more industries become industrialized. In this study, the flexural presentation of concrete reinforced (RC) beams and fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) bars after conditioning for 6, 9, and 12 months with simulated saltwater in a wet-dry environment cycling is investigated. This study\u27s goal is to present new developments in the study of FRP-reinforced concrete structures based on current research. Among the subjects covered in this study are the bond presentation of FRP bars\u27 flexural behavior, concrete\u27s compression behavior, and concrete of ductility structures reinforced with FRP bars in recent years all over the world. The two types of FRP bars employed are basalt FRP (BFRP) and steel-FRP composite bars (SFCBs). Steel bars are used as a point of reference. Primary Sensor Detection for Primary Tradeoff Cognitive Radio Network
Cognitive radio (CR) has been recently proposed as a promising technology to improve spectrum utilization by enabling secondary access to unused licensed bands. A prerequisite to this secondary access is having no interference to the primary system. This requirement makes spectrum sensing a key function in cognitive radio systems. Among common spectrum sensing techniques, energy detection is an engaging method due to its simplicity and efficiency.
The growing demand of wireless applications has put a lot of constraints on the usage of available radio spectrum which is limited and precious resource. Cognitive radio is a promising technology which provides a novel way to improve utilization efficiency of available electromagnetic spectrum. In this paper, a cluster-based optimal selective CSS scheme is proposed for reducing reporting time and bandwidth while maintaining a certain level of sensing performance. Clusters are organized based on the identification of primary signal to-noise ratio value, and the cluster head in each cluster is dynamically chosen according to the sensing data qualities of CR users.
The cluster sensing decision is made based on an optimal threshold for selective CSS which minimizes the probability of sensing error. A parallel reporting mechanism based on frequency division is proposed to considerably reduce the time for reporting decision to fusion center of clusters. In the fusion center, the optimal Chair-Vashney rule is utilized to obtain a high sensing performance based on the available cluster’s information
An Experimental Investigation on the Effect and Performance of Ethanol Diesel Blends
This experimental study\u27s current goal is to investigate the use of various ethanol and diesel blends in order to analyze their performance parameters and emission characteristics on a high speed, single-cylinder, four-stroke Kirloskar AV1 Diesel engine while comparing them to neat diesel under a range of loads and at a constant speed of 1500 rpm. Three distinct blends—E10 (ethanol 10%, diesel 90%), E20 (ethanol 20%, diesel 80%), and E30 (ethanol 30%, diesel 70%)—were used in the experiment, along with an additive called n-butanol to avoid phase separation with the diesel. For all test samples, the performance parameters, including specific fuel consumption (SFC), brake thermal efficiency (BTE), and emission characteristics, including CO, HC, CO2, and NOX, were identified and compared to diesel. According to this study, while using mixes of ethanol instead of diesel at specific loads, efficiency was somewhat boosted and exhaust emissions were decreased. According to the experiment\u27s findings, diesel and ethanol mixes are adequate and acceptable alternative fuels for diesel engines without requiring any adjustments

The Open System Interconnection (OSI) layered protocol model divides networking tasks into layers and defines a set of services for each layer to be provided individually. The design of the protocol makes the services realized for different layers, no direct Communication between nonadjacent layers is permitted as the architecture forbids such an action, also communication is limited to procedure calls and responses between adjacent layers. Whereas the cross layer design violates the reference architecture, by allowing direct communication between protocols at non adjacent layers. It also allows sharing variables between layers, which gives it a better performance in the area of wireless communication.
