A Study on FRP-Reinforced Concrete Structures

As an alternative to reinforcement steel due to their numerous advantages, including great weight-to-strength ratio, light weight, ease of handling electromagnetic neutrality, and lack of rust. Furthermore, as production machinery develops and more becomes industrialized, FRP has evolved into a cost-effective and competitive structural material. This work examines flexural presentation of fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) bars and concrete reinforced (RC) after beams conditioning for 6, 9, and 12 months simulated seawater in a wet-dry environment cycling. The purpose of this study is to introduce advancements in the research on FRP-reinforced concrete structures based on recent research. The bond presentation of FRP bars flexural behaviour, concrete, compression behaviour, and concrete of ductility structures reinforced with FRP bars in the last few years around the world are among the topics covered in this study. steel-FRP composite bars (SFCBs) and Basalt FRP (BFRP) are the two types of FRP bars used. Anger\u27s Spring Water Underwent a Physico-Chemical Examination
Water quality is a necessary parameter to be study when the overarching goal is to achieve long-term development humanity since the focal point it has directly related to human well-being. The present study conducted to assess the spring water quality in Anger Gutie Town East Wollega, Oromia, Ethiopia. The samples were examined for six parameters physico–chemical Temperature, pH, and total dissolved solids are all factors to consider. Total Suspended Solid, Electrical conductivity, Turbidity), for eleven major chemical parameters (Al3+,Cr+6,Cu, Mn, Fe,K+,SO42‾, PO43‾, NO2‾–N, F‾, Cl‾), and four other physico–chemical parameters (SiO2, NH3–N, Total hardness, and Dissolved oxygen) using standard methods. Taguchi Method for High Speed Cutting Forces
The purpose of this study is to determine experimentally the influence of tool rake angle on EN 31Steel, MS, and Aluminum specimens as work piece materials and carbide as a tool material during a turning process. It has been found that cutting speed, feed rate, and depth of cut are all affected by the rake angle (00-160). In order to estimate the impact of material type on primary cutting force, the same cutting conditions, tool parameters, and tool material were used in many experiments on the three Specimen materials. As the tool rake angle increases from 00 to 160, the primary cutting force decreases for EN 31, M.S. specimens, however the main cutting force increases for Aluminum specimens as the angle rises. This is due to the material of the workpiece. Cutting force is highest at EN 31 specimens and MS specimens, and lowest at the aluminium specimens, according to experimental results. In this thesis, we\u27re also looking for the best control settings to minimise surface roughness.. During a turning operation, the parameters of the process, such as cutting speed, feed rate, and cut depth, will be examined. In this study, Taguchi\u27s design of experiments was used to analyse surface roughness using different turning process parameters of EN-31 Steel, MS, and Aluminum in a turning operation with rake angles of 40 and a S/N ratio of 1
Self-Focusing Effect of an Electromagnetic Wave under Various Nonlinearities
A short pulse laser beam suffers self-pulse distortion due to combined effects of nonlinearity induced self-focusing and dispersion. Nonlinearity arises due to relativistic mass variation and ponderomotive force. As the beam propagates through plasma, beam width parameter decreases, so intensity of the beam increases. Methods for Handling Wastewater and Production Filtration Systems
As in the past, the lack of a reliable supply of potable water is a major problem in both urban and rural communities. The high expense of water treatment is a major factor in why people in many Indian cities drink unfiltered tap water. Water-borne diseases such as diarrhoea, typhoid, and others are extremely harmful to human health, and their spread is often caused by drinking contaminated water. One of the most pressing issues today is figuring out where to send all the waste that gets produced, both by homes and by businesses and factories. Water and wastewater can be filtered to remove impurities by passing them through a porous medium. The term "filter media" is used to describe the layer of filter materials used in filtration systems. As part of this effort, a unified filtering unit is designed to purify both potable water and wastewater produced on-site. The multimedia filtering system will be built using a number of different materials, including activated carbon, activated zeolite, and activated alumina. As an added bonus, this project will aid in neutralising acidic water, raising TDS levels in potable water supplies, reducing TDS levels in wastewater, and eliminating organic matter in wastewater. Biosorption Study of Pb(II) Ions onto Treated Eupatorium adinoforum (AEA) and Acer Oblongum (AAO): Thermodynamic and Equilibrium Studies
In the present study, dried activated biomass of Eupatorium adinoforum (AEA) and Acer oblongum (AAO) used for removal of Pb (II) from synthetic wastewater. The batch operation was conducted with effect of variation of contact time, biosorbent dose, pH, concentration of metal ions and temperature on biosorption of metal ions on biosorbent. Maximum adsorption was recorded for initial metal ion concentration of 10 mg/l, biosorbent dose of 2.5 gm, at pH 5 with 105 minutes of contact time for activated AEA and AAO biomass. The adsorption equilibrium conditions were well described by Langmuir, Freundlich and Temkin isotherm models. The Langmuir isotherm model has provided a better fit with the experimental data in comparison to that of Freundlich and Temkin isotherm models. Thermodynamic data suggest that the bisorption process was spontaneous, feasible and endothermic. The values of thermodynamic parameters suggest that the biosorption process was spontaneous, feasible and endothermic. The kinetics of the biosorption for the reaction mechanism and types of biosorption process onto activated AEA and AAO biosorbent were also discussed
MPPT Algorithm based DC Converter for Dual Voltage Automotive Systems
Perturb and Observe (PO) is an algorithm for tracking the maximum power point (MPPT) in a photovoltaic system. Sunlight and temperature affect the performance of solar cells in a nonlinear fashion. The voltage and current have a non-linear effect on its power. A maximum power point (MPP) exists only at a single voltage and current for a given set of meteorological circumstances. The MPPT is used to monitor the MPP. A detailed description of how to model a solar panel, design a DC-DC boost converter, and design a PO MPPT is provided. Under various environmental conditions, the solar panel are simulated. It is used to control the duty cycle of a DC-DC converter so that the PV generator can operate at its maximum power point and ensure that the solar panels can operate at their optimum efficiency (MPP). Using a Perturb and Observe (P&O) approach, the algorithm under consideration was analysed. When the DC-side capacitor voltage fluctuates, this is designed to improve MPP tracking (interface between the DC-DC and the DC-AC stage). Using SIMULINK simulations under two different conditions—rapid changes in irradiance and a second order distortion in the voltage at the DC-side capacitor—we can compare the performance of MPPT techniques. A Hybrid Environment Friendly Energy System with Solar Photovoltaic and Diesel Generator
We will examine the advantages of solar photovoltaic modules over diesel generators in this paper. To demonstrate this, we compared the emissions of greenhouse gases and the global warming potential (GWP) of solar photovoltaic modules and diesel generators.
