Eco-Conscious Consumerism: An Analysis of Green Marketing Trends in Coimbatore District
The industrial revolution precipitates swift urbanization, which heightens customers\u27 demands for items. On one hand, the progress of emerging technologies has led to increased consumer demands for meeting their basic needs. On the other hand, the manufacturing process of these products has caused environmental degradation, resulting in pollution of rivers and water, global warming, and the depletion of non-renewable energy sources. As the environment deteriorates, it becomes a topic of great worry. Marketers are grappling with the challenge of comprehending consumer wants while adhering to environmental regulations and maintaining their profits. The company provides environmentally-friendly marketing materials, taking into account the clients\u27 purchasing behavior and environmental strategies. The purpose of this is to keep customers informed about the availability of environmentally friendly items in the market, as well as the repercussions and impact of these products on the environment. This information can then be used by customers to make informed decisions before purchasing any products. Consumers would benefit from becoming aware of environmentally-friendly marketing items. This study aims to evaluate customer purchase behavior towards environmentally friendly products in the Coimbatore district

Digital Transition in the 21st Century: Interrogating the Future of Women in the Fourth Industrial Revolution in Nigeria
The United Nations\u27 celebration of International Women\u27s Day in 1975 was an occasion to stand together to advance gender equality worldwide. This equality is not evident in STEM and technological applications, unlike in any other area. Women are argued to be more analogous than their male counterparts. Today, technology has advanced from quantum physicists to artificial intelligence, yet women are still grappling to understand the use of basic personal technological equipment. Most of the new technological equipment such drones as phones, remote control, laptops, and other technological appliances women use are often managed by their digital children and their male relatives. Applying the ecosystem theory, and online quantitative research design, the paper collected data on the factors that hinder women mainstreaming in STEM, the place of women in the fourth industrial revolution, the extent technological know-how would enhance women’s professional productivity in the fourth industrial revolution, and how women can utilize technology to bridge the gender gap. The primary data collected was analyzed to generate inferential statistics while secondary data was thematically content analysed. Women must either latch in this emerging era and be mainstreamed or widen the gender gap by being lethargic to technology
Role of Narcissistic Attitude and Wrong Parenting in a Dysfunctional Family
This study investigates the complex interplay between narcissistic attitudes and erroneous parenting practices within dysfunctional households. When narcissistic qualities show in parental duties, they can create a toxic atmosphere where children’s emotional, social, and psychological development is jeopardized. Overbearing control, emotional manipulation, and the pursuit of personal fulfillment at the expense of familial necessities are all examples of such mindsets. As a result, children raised in these circumstances frequently experienced inconsistency in emotional support, low self-esteem, and a distorted concept of relationships. This study emphasizes the critical role of erroneous parenting approaches in worsening narcissism’s detrimental influence. Inadequate parental attention, neglect, and permissive or authoritarian behaviours can foster an environment of uncertainty and unpredictability in children. The aim of this study is to portray the narcissistic attitude and wrong parenting in a dysfunctional family that go wrong for their children’s development with special reference to a Pakistani drama named ‘Pinjra’
Self Concept and Suicidal Ideation in Students: A Correlation Study
The present research study focuses on the relationship between self-concept and suicidal ideation among the students of first year graduation in Nagpur city. It was hypothesized that there will be a negative relationship between self-concept and suicidal ideation. The sample for the study consisted of 145 students of under graduate from different colleges. The age of students ranged between 18-21 years. Suicide Probability Scale developed by John Cull & Wayne Gill (1984) and Self- Concept Scale developed by R.K. Saraswat (2005) were used to measure the level of Suicidal Ideation and Self-Concept respectively.
Results supported the hypothesis that there is negative correlation between Self-Concept and Suicidal Ideation (N=145, Mean=143.36, & 74.77, SD=36.07 & 15.67, r =0.71, significant at 0.01 level) among students
Government Initiatives for Employment Generation
India\u27s unique growth trajectory, where the service sector has bypassed manufacturing, poses significant employment challenges. This paper examines unemployment in India, using National Sample Survey Organization (NSSO) definitions and data. Unemployment is defined as a situation where a person capable of working does not find employment at the existing wage rate. NSSO\u27s three measures of estimating unemployment - usual status, weekly status, and current/daily status - provide a comprehensive picture. The Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS) 2017-18 reports a four-decade high unemployment rate of 6.1%, with urban areas at 7.8% and rural areas at 5.3%. The labor force participation rate has also declined. We analyze the government\u27s initiatives to reduce unemployment over the last five years and explore new emerging areas of employment. Our study highlights the need for policy interventions to address India\u27s unemployment challenges and promote inclusive economic growth
Popular Culture and Identity Formation A Study on Tattoo Consumption Practices among Urban Youth
Tattoo has been transitioning to become a socially acceptable form of self expression from a stigmatized notion, and the youth are drawing images from the culturally available symbols to put together bodily appearances against conventional cultural standards. The notion associated with tattoos in the mainstream understanding is being challenged by the youth\u27s bodily behaviour, and the widespread consumption of tattoo is breaking the stereotypes linked with the ink. The visibility of the tattoo in the popular culture represents an acceptance of tattoo as a legitimate art form by an increase in its consumption by the youth. The tattooed people started legitimizing their own tattoos by tattoo narratives that ascribe semantic meaning to their images. The identity formation of the youth through bodily comportment is enabling them to express his/her ideology through the social skin. Widespread tattoo consumption reveals how informal social control and judgments about socio-economic status play out in the realm of popular culture and personal embodiment. The current study focuses on how the youth is marking their identity with Tattoo

Understanding Household\u27s Access to Loans from Microfinance Institutions in Delhi Slums
The provision of credit is essential for poverty alleviation, but formal financial institutions often exclude the poor due to stringent criteria and collateral requirements, leading them to rely on informal lenders despite high interest rates. Microfinance aims to fill this gap by offering small loans to those lacking access to formal credit, promoting investment in microbusinesses and economic growth. However, microfinance often fails to reach the poorest, serving mainly those near the poverty line. This study takes up this issue and aims to identify the socio-economic factors that determine access to microfinance institution loans among 368 households in Delhi slums. The study reveals that MFIs aim toward poverty alleviation by providing loans to the poorer sections of society. They provide loans to “self-employed” households for investments in micro ventures which helps them in raising their income and living standards. Also, the level of education of the household\u27s head and the age of a women respondent have a positive influence on accessing loans from MFIs
