An Asynchronous LLM Architecture for Event Stream Analysis with Cameras
Event-based cameras, as bio-inspired vision sensors, record intensity changes asynchronously. The Dynamic and Active-pixel Vision Sensor (DAVIS) enhances information diversity by combining a standard camera with an event-based camera. However, current methods analyze event streams synchronously, contradicting their nature and introducing noise. To address this, most approaches accumulate events within a time interval to create synchronous frames, wasting sensitive intensity changes. This paper introduces a novel neural asynchronous approach for event stream analysis. Our method asynchronously extracts dynamic information by leveraging historical motion information and critical features of grayscale frames. Extensive experiments demonstrate our model’s significant improvements over state-of-the-art baselines
Surendranath Sarkar and the Nationalist Movement in Birbhum: Navigating Local and National Agendas
The nationalist movement during the late nineteenth and early twentieth century was a remarkable phenomenon in Indian history, culminating in reshaping the entire country\u27s political landscape. The masses of India responded to the exploitative British rule by vigorously engaging in the freedom struggle. However, an attempt to draw a universal pattern for the nationalist movement across the entire subcontinent would inevitably result in a fiasco. As a result, recent historiography of the Indian Freedom Struggle has placed the diverse local aspects of the movement at the centre of discussion. The intersection and interaction of various forms of consciousness and their spontaneous outbursts at the grassroots level metamorphosed the local movements in nearly all provinces into distinctive forms. The Bengal Presidency was one of the storm centres of the anti-colonial movement. The uncontrolled wave of anti-British struggle inevitably reached various remote parts of the Bengal province, and our Birbhum district was no exception. Unfortunately, many of the architects of these micro-regional activities have been overshadowed by the metanarratives of the mainstream national movement. This paper aims to examine the contributions of Surendranath Sarkar, one of the unsung architects from Birbhum district, who, by moving away from manipulative ideologies, crafted mass movements guided by the local principles that have remained uncelebrated and unrecognised in our mainstream history
Understanding the Scope and Problems of Artificial Intelligence and Assisted Learning in Higher Education
Learning is a dynamic experience. We need to create learning experiences that assist all kinds of learners. Human beings have different patterns of learning. Assisted learning helps in decentralizing the learning experience in a more individualistic approach. Artificial Intelligence has helped in automating many tasks of administrative nature, evaluation and has even helped personalize learning, countering the problems of teacher exhaustion. Not just efficient grading use of AI through educational chatbots and applications can help in helping students get a 24/7 mentoring option which in a real-world scenario might be difficult for human teachers to cater to. With technology has come ease of global accessibility and insights that are backed by data. But it also brings along with it an enhanced scenario of digital divide, technological hurdle and inequality. The paper through case studies tries to analyze the scopes and problems of using Artificial Intelligence in Assisted Learning in Higher Education

The study showed that CBTE programs can prepare future teachers to create inclusive classrooms that respect and value gender diversity. This comprehensive approach addresses all students’ educational needs and promotes a more inclusive society. This comprehensive approach emphasizes mastery of competencies related to gender inclusivity and ensures that teacher educators are well-prepared to address the needs of all trainees by developing their all domains. Also, the competency-based approach caters diverse needs of trainees for their personal and professional endeavours and respects gender inclusion in its curriculum implementation. In the 21st century scenario, the upliftment of gender diversity is the concern of utmost priority by addressing both academic and non-academic fields of practice, and the competency-based program makes it possible by fostering all such essential approaches in the field of teacher education. This study identifies CBTE in gender and inclusive practices equipping trainees with the necessary skills, knowledge and attitudes to create inclusive classrooms that respect and celebrate gender diversity in Teacher Education Institutions (TEIs)

Factors Influencing Financial Performance of Selected BSE Listed Oil Exploration and Production Companies in India
Operational efficiency and production costs are also crucial, as companies with lower costs or advanced technologies in exploration and drilling can outperform competitors. Moreover, currency exchange rates, particularly the rupee’s fluctuation against the dollar, impact import costs, especially since India imports most of its crude oil. As the energy consumption demand continues to rise domestically, driven by industrial growth and urbanization, this creates revenue opportunities, although shifts toward renewable energy present long-term challenges. The companies\u27 financial performance is also influenced by corporate governance practices, debt management, and foreign exchange risks. Technological advancements in exploration, such as seismic surveys and fracking, improve production efficiency, thus enhancing profitability. Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) concerns have become increasingly relevant, with companies focusing on compliance to avoid penalties and reputational damage. Lastly, factors such as macroeconomic conditions, competitive positioning, and the size of a company’s oil reserves determine its financial stability and potential for growth. Successful partnerships and risk management strategies, particularly in mitigating crude oil price fluctuations, are also essential in maintaining robust financial health
Christianity and Cultural Shifts: An Exploration of the Lai Experience
This paper offers a critical examination of the comprehensive portrayal of Christianity, highlighting its dual function: both constructive and destructive, in relation to the preservation and alteration of Lai culture; it contends that the half-hearted attention of the pioneer Christian Missionaries have served as the primary catalysts for the assimilation of Lai culture. The changes and alterations that have been brought about in the various cultural aspects like norms, values, and social ties have been thoroughly covered in this chapter. After analysing both the constructive and destructive changes brought about by Christianity in the Lai culture, the study thus concludes that the ‘Hegemonic Christianity’ had led to the assimilation of the Lai culture
An Analytical Study on Trend and Forecasting of Selected Private Sector Banks in India
This study examines the trends and forecasting of reserves and deposits in selected private sector banks in India. Reserves, which represent the portion of profits retained by the banks, are crucial for enhancing financial stability and meeting regulatory requirements. Analyzing the growth in reserves provides insights into the bank\u27s ability to cushion against future uncertainties and risks. Deposits, on the other hand, serve as a vital indicator of customer confidence and liquidity. The growth and trend in deposit levels are key to assessing the bank\u27s ability to fund loans and manage its liquidity position effectively. By focusing on the trends in reserves and deposits, this study aims to provide a clear understanding of how these factors contribute to the overall financial stability, growth potential, and resilience of private sector banks in a competitive financial landscape
An Econometric Analysis of Electricity Consumption from Renewable Energy in India
In the wake of the oil crises of the 1970s, the world found itself at the crossroads, confronted by the vulnerability and volatility of over dependence on fossil fuels. These transformative events ignited a paradigm shift towards renewable energy sources, with solar energy emerging as a beacon of hope. Solar energy offered a viable means for achieving the elemental goal of greener, sustainable as well as economical and efficient energy resource for driving industrial growth. It provided an opportunity to reduce excessive reliance on imported oil, decrease carbon emissions, and thus create a more decentralized and resilient energy infrastructure. This study aims to verify the link between the progressive increase in solar energy consumption and the country’s economic advancement. The study also focuses on the how the Indian Government has invested in and employed the potential of solar energy after 1990, i.e., after becoming a liberalized economy by adopting the LPG (Liberalization, Privatization and Globalization). In this context, the present paper determines the main driving forces of solar energy consumption in India during 2007–2022. The time series data of solar energy generation and domestic energy consumption are retrieved from Energy Statistics Data published by Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation. The data has been analyzed by using the Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) renewable energy generation as well as domestic electricity consumption. Furthermore, Simple Linear Regression technique has been used to measure the impact of REG on domestic electricity consumption
