No full textThe purpose of this research work is to optimize the occupational health and safety protocol by increasing distancing and mitigating physical contact to prevent the spread of Covid-19, using QR catches to identify personnel. Contrasting the sanitary measures to protect the health and integrity of the personnel of the operations area of the Tailing Disposal System -Quellaveco project.
For the study of the database, factor analysis is used as a multivalent statistical method, with this method the number of 997 daily reports was analyzed, addressing the study of the structure of correlations between a large number of variables, factor analysis assists in the selection of a representative subgroup of variables and creates new variables called factors, when performing the analysis and treatment of 24 variables with the SPSS 25 software, the variables with the correlation matrix were reduced to 13, and with the total variance explained, a matrix different from that of identity was defined, reducing the dimensionality of the problem from 13 to 5 factors

It is evident that pharmaceutical industry is one of the promising sectors in the industrial field of Bangladesh. Now, the pharmaceutical industries of Bangladesh are exporting their products to more than 100 countries in the world after meeting the local demand. This study also represents the growth and market share of pharmaceutical industries, total exports of last five years, unethical practices in promotion of pharmaceutical industries and impacts of unethical practices. To conduct the study both secondary and primary data have been used. The target population of this study was medical professional men including physicians of Phultala Thana in Khulna District. Finally the study provides some recommendations to overcome the situation. There are a lot of rooms for Bangladesh to develop in this sector. In this study, the unethical practices in promotion of pharmaceutical industries that can make obstacle in the sustainable growth of pharmaceutical business in Bangladesh are discussed meticulously

The Extent of New Product Development Partnership between Universities and the Manufacturing Firms in Ghana
No full textThe importance of new product development in building both technological and technical capacity of university and firm cannot be overemphasized. Collaborations between HE and industry in NPD is conceived as mutual interaction for skills acquisition and economic improvement. The study was designed to determine the extent of new product development partnership between HEIs and the manufacturing firms. A survey was conducted, and a sample of 400 was drawn from both HE and industry; the data were then analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) software of EQS version 6.2.The results revealed that there is weak interaction between HE and industry, also there is no formal partnership between the two on new product development. in order to strengthen the mutual relationship, a conceptual model had been developed after a careful examination and assessment of the key factors of NPD and after preliminary CFA analysis conducted to establish the determinants of the main construct. A nine-factor model was then developed for university and industry. The study therefore recommends that higher education and industry adopt this new model for effective partnership on NPD
Do Social Media Impact Consumer Buying Decisions in the Fashion Industry during the COVID-19 Pandemic?

Because the advent of social media has changed the globe and the whole way it operates, putting the society and its peoples closer together even as a means of boosting customer assets through powerful communication during this challenging period. The purpose of this study is to define the characteristics of social media marketing factors and to examine the impact of those perceived factors upon customer purchasing decisions, given the immense concern in using social media marketing among fashion brands during the period of covid-19 pandemic. This research primarily fixated on five variables in social media, such as entertainment, interactions, trendiness, customization and word of mouth effect on the consumer purchasing decisions. A deductive methodology was taken, and 100 questionnaires, via the Google online form, were circulated to gather data. For data interpretation using SPSS, descriptive and inferential statistics were used such as mean value, standard deviation and correlation and regression analysis. The study of the data shows that social media-marketing factors like entertainment, communications, trends, customizing and word of mouth influence customer buying decisions, and that these factors have a positive relation with consumer purchase decisions. These results also revealed that women and individuals aged twenty-five to thirty-four years of age are more inclined to buy fashion-related products during this pandemic situation and suggested to develop marketing tools targeted at this particular category. Further, the results of this study will help fashion companies more specifically forecast the purchasing habits of their customers and control their investments and marketing efforts in this challenging period

Implementation of Implantation-Stagger Measuring Unit using Image Processing
No full textThe electrical traction system of railways is a combination of physical upright structures and OCL(Overhead Contact Lines). The horizontal distance from the center of the track to the OHE mast called implantation, horizontal displacement of overhead contact wire with respect to the center of the railway track called stagger, and the perpendicular height of overhead contact wire from the ground are periodically checked by a lineman in order to ensure a safe distance from the railway track. In this paper, we have put forth an idea of building a distance measuring device to measure the implantation and stagger without touching the objects using Open CV on raspberry pi with a camera module which will be placed at the center of the track. The system will be having two features. To measure the distance of the nearest poles, the camera has to be placed facing the mast perpendicular to a circle of diameter appropriate which is placed on the pole for measurement purposes. And to measure the stagger, the camera has to be placed facing the overhead wire from the center of the track
