The information on population variation between the seven species of vultures in Rajasthan\u27s Thar Desert is extremely important. In the Thar Desert of Rajasthan, a systematic study was conducted with the goal of obtaining data on the demography, breeding, and nesting records of vulture species beginning in 2016 and continuing for three consecutive years. The population of resident and migratory vulture species was trended using linear regression. White-backed vultures had the lowest population trends, whereas Egyptian vultures showed the highest. Potential records of resident vulture species nesting were also appropriately acquired. Even after Diclofenac was banned in 2006, patterns of decreases, the presence of dead birds, different unintentional tragedies, habitat degradation, and windmills point to some potential causes

    No full text
COVID-19 pandemic has forced schools and academic institutions all over the world to shift to remote online learning overnight. This is the longest disruption to the traditional face-to-face (physical) classroom learning ever. As the shift was unexpected, many stakeholders including teachers, administrators, parents and the students themselves have to embrace the Sudden Screen Learning (SSL) with or without sufficient resources, strategy and plans. As a result of social distancing in order to curb the spread of the pandemic, some students struggled to catch up with online learning challenges as family incomes deteriorated. This research intended to investigate the factors that push private university students to accept and adopt the sudden, remote online learning by applying the UTAUT constructs namely Performance Expectancy (PE), Effort Expectancy (EE), Subjective Norms (SN) and Facilitating Conditions (FC), taking into account the students’ Learning Styles as well as the moderating effect of Trusting Beliefs. The expected outcomes of the research will provide useful insights to the school administrators and regulators in understanding students’ SSL actual usage behaviour, thus, devising effective e-curriculums that will adhere to the same or even better quality of education as an assurance to the future of the younger generations

A Study of Different Algorithms used to Predict the Stock Price

    No full text
A stock market is a place where we can purchase the stocks of various companies(part of the company), which makes it volatile, and predicting it becomes a tedious task. So we need various algorithms and methodologies to predict the stock prices. We cannot depend on one type of algorithm because each algorithm has its own pros and cons and also it depends on the style of the trader on how he trades stocks. This paper will deal with different aspects like quantitative aspect- LSTM, RNN, ARIMA, and qualitative with sentiment analysis for predicting the stock prices, in an efficient manner

During the Greek Financial Crisis period (December 2009), Greece, one of the members of the EUROZONE, faced an unprecedented financial crisis which triggered gradual erosion in the value of EURO with respect to major world currencies during this period. During May 2010, the European Union agreed for a bailout package for Greece which was intended to prevent a further decline in the value of Euro. This study mainly focuses on the trend in the Exchange rate of Euro against the world’s major currencies during the period of Greek financial crisis and the predictability of Future spot exchange rates using the currency Futures rates. It has been noted that on an average the variation between Future spot rate and Currency futures rates has been highest in respect of INR/EURO and the lowest in respect of GBP/EURO. This indicates that the predictability of GBP/EURO futures rate as an indicator of future spot price has been the highest.Further, it has been found that the depreciation in the EURO exchange rate during the Greek financial crisis has been the highest against INR and lowest against GBP. This has been further confirmed by the fact that the Regression Coefficient of GBP/EURO has been the lowest while that of INR/EURO has been the highest

    No full text
The Goods and Services Tax, or GST, took effect on July 1, 2017. The new tax system was designed to replace all current indirect taxes with a single, comprehensive tax. The Products and Services Tax (GST) is a consumption tax imposed on goods and services depending on their final destination (Bhushan Satya).Simply said, GST is a single tax that applies to the delivery of goods and services from the producer to the end user. In a nutshell, it\u27s a tax imposed solely on value addition, with input tax credits transferred to successive stages of value addition, implying that the ultimate tax burden would fall on the end user of products or services. The anticipated advantages of implementing the GST are that it would decrease the cascading impact of taxes, i.e. it will eliminate tax on tax. It was also anticipated to stimulate demand for products and the elimination of a number of indirect taxes such as VAT, CST, Service tax, CAD, SAD, and Excise, among others, which would help to improve the Indian economy in the long term. This paper tries to highlight the cost and benefits bear by the economy due to implementation of the GST. The paper also tries to find out the expected rate of growth of economy after the GST. Finally, the study tries to conclude that how it would be disrupted and benefits the economy in the long run
