Review of FDI Policies in India and China: Analysis and Interpretation

Typically, the investment is undertaken over a lengthy period of time with the purpose of maximizing the host nation\u27s advantages, such as superior (and cheaper) resources, consumer market access, or direct access to the host country. All talent improves efficiency. This long-term cooperation will benefit both the investor and the host nation. If the investor makes the same investment in his own nation, he will obtain a larger return, but the host country will profit by boosting the transfer of knowledge or technology to its workforce, putting more pressure on his local business to compete. Foreign firm that can develop the sector as a whole or serve as an example for other companies thinking about investing in the host nation
A Study on the Effectiveness of Payment Service Providers with its Future Prospects: A Case Study among the users in Kathmandu Valley
Get PDFThis main objective of the study was to analyze the effectiveness of Payment Service Providers (PSPs) and examine the challenges to PSPs in Nepal with entrance of PSOs with Open Innovation such as Unified Payment Interface (UPI) and its future prospects among the users in Kathmandu valley (includes 3 districts: Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur), Nepal. The research design was descriptive and analytical type; the research is based on mixed approach having both qualitative and quantitative data. Survey was conducted with total of 435 respondents, 405 respondents were selected using non random sampling for questionnaire. The collection of primary data were through unstructured interviews and structured questionnaire. The data was analyzed using the descriptive statistics and the regression technique. The results of statistics showed that there is rising trends and adoption of PSPs among the users in Kathmandu valley. The result of the ordinal regression analysis indicated that security concern (SC) showed a positive and insignificant influence on PSPs’ performance since estimate or coefficient value of this is 0.13 with insignificant value of (p=0.308), whereas customer service (CS), low transaction fee & Merchant Discount Rate (LTFM) and cross-border peer to peer and peer to merchant transaction (CPTM) showed a positive and significant influence on PSPs’ effectiveness having coefficient value of 0.434, 0.342 and 3.201 respectively with significant value of p=0.008, 0.004 & 0.000 respectively. However, interoperability and regulatory constraints showed a negative and insignificant influence on PSPs’ effectiveness having coefficient value of -0.206 and -0.145 respectively with insignificant value of p=0.165 and 0.241 respectively. The result of second route indicated that cross-border peer to peer and peer to merchant transaction (CPTM) which is the key feature of UPI Nepal has the highest level of influence on PSPs’ effectiveness with exponentiation of the B coefficient Exp(B) =24.548 shows UPI will set an ample challenge to the existing PSPs in Nepal. The research recommended that, PSPs need to enhance the customer service with offering low transaction and MDR. Also, diversifying their business across the border

The moderation analysis was based on gender and mediation analysis with the variables of Korean cultural proximity, cultural adaption and purchase of Korean products. Depending on the interests of the consumer, we can purchase many chocolate types and brands through this website. In this project, we have the option to add and remove, edit, and save various products. For the website, we have created administrative features including login and logout options, admin dashboard, category and brand management for customers, payment method options for carts, review, and promotion management. Customers could search, sort, filter, and add goods to the cart. The customer can pay and purchase the things when the bills are created based on the cart contents. On the other hand, we have used the modern tools which are necessary to improve the functional and non-functional requirements of the application

Simulation and Synthesis of Efficient Majority Logic Fault Detector Using EG-LDPC Codes to Reduce Access Time for Memory Applications
Get PDFThis paper presents an error-detection method for Euclidean Geometry low density parity check codes with majority logic decoding methodology in VHDL language and the output is verified with the help of Xilinx12.1. Majority logic decodable codes are suitable for memory applications due to their capability to correct a large number of errors. However, they require a large decoding time that impacts memory performance. The proposed fault-detection method significantly reduces memory access time when there is no error in the data read. The technique uses the majority logic decoder itself to detect failures, which makes the area overhead minimal and keeps the extra power consumption low. Starting from the original design of the ML decoder introduced, the proposed ML Detector/Decoder (MLDD) has been implemented using the Euclidean Geometry low density parity check codes. The proposed improved majority logic detector/decoder to perform data error correction in simple way using additional error correction technique and also reducing the delay time by detecting the errors in parallel manner. Hence the decoding process uses less number of cycles which reduces the delay

This research paper explores the historical background of the dispute, focusing on colonial-era borders, the 1962 war, and China\u27s control over Aksai Chin. It highlights how the lack of a clearly defined border, along with different national interests, has continued to cause tension. The paper also studies recent military standoffs such as the Galwan Valley clash in 2020, and how both countries have responded to these events.
In addition, the paper looks into China’s broader foreign policy strategies that affect its behavior on the border, including the Five Finger Policy, Salami Slicing, Cabbage Strategy, and Wolf Warrior Diplomacy.
