    E-Hospital Management & Hospital Information System – Use of IOT

    To operate successfully and efficiently, a healthcare institution needs high-quality data and information management. To say that many companies, organizations, or government agencies are critically dependent on the use of database systems for their success, especially in hospitals, would be an understatement. This work aims to develop an improved hospital information management system using an activity-based approach. This study presents an effective hospital information management system that can be used to handle patient information and its administration. This aims to solve the issues that the current hospital information system has with inappropriate data retention, erroneous reports, and time wastage when storing, processing, and retrieving information to increase the overall effectiveness of the medical facility. Express.JS, Mongo DB, React.JS, and Node.JS were used to create the system. The technology offers a crucial storage and retrieval platform for information in hospitals. Many tests have been carried on, and they are attached and discussed in the document

    FitFlame – Health and Fitness Coaching Application to Mitigate the Issues in the Current Applications

    Online fitness coaches help people achieve a healthy lifestyle by offering customized solutions. The demand for professional coaching is expected to grow in the coming years. Nevertheless, no applications in the market address the problems in the coaching process. Today, coaches and clients had to use many third-party apps. The reason for this is that no single fitness coaching app offers communication and exercise-tracking features. Even though some apps meet some of these requirements, they are out of reach for most people\u27s budgets. This paper aims to suggest a robust and full-fledged app to mitigate those issues. FitFlame is the name of the proposed app. Both coaches and clients can benefit from this app. Also, FitFlame is a fitness coaching system available on mobile and the web. It helps clients locate and contact coaches, subscribe to coaching plans, and track their progress. It does away with third-party programs and gives users a better experience

    A Comprehensive Review of Recent Variants and Modifications of Firefly Algorithm

    Swarm intelligence (SI) is an emerging field of biologically-inspired artificial intelligence based on the behavioral models of social insects such as ants, bees, wasps, termites etc. Swarm intelligence is the discipline that deals with natural and artificial systems composed of many individuals that coordinate using decentralized control and self-organization. Most SI algorithms have been developed to address stationary optimization problems and hence, they can converge on the (near-) optimum solution efficiently. However, many real-world problems have a dynamic environment that changes over time. In the last two decades, there has been a growing interest of addressing Dynamic Optimization Problems using SI algorithms due to their adaptation capabilities. This paper presents a broad review on two SI algorithms: 1) Firefly Algorithm (FA) 2) Flower Pollination Algorithm (FPA). FA is inspired from bioluminescence characteristic of fireflies. FPA is inspired from the the pollination behavior of flowering plants. This article aims to give a detailed analysis of different variants of FA and FPA developed by parameter adaptations, modification, hybridization as on date. This paper also addresses the applications of these algorithms in various fields. In addition, literatures found that most of the cases that used FA and FPA technique have outperformed compare to other metaheuristic algorithms

    In present day world cars have no longer remained a luxury item, especially small cars. Moreover, there has been an ambition among the people to own a car, more so during Covid times. The desire of the people has also been complimented by introduction of new models and offers by car manufacturers as well as easy source of finance at competitive rates. This study is undertaken to assess the factors considered by car buyers while selecting a car and their satisfaction level. For this study two manufacturers were selected- Maruti Suzuki the market leader and a strong Indian competitor Tata Motors. The study revealed that though Maruti Suzuki still has the highest customer base due to its brand image, Tata Motors is gaining new customers by providing strong and sleek cars

    According to reports and research, the services sector has emerged as one of the biggest employers across different world economies during the last two decades. As per the UNCTAD, November 2021, the services sector pulled out following the trend of an overall expansion, trade-in services. However, tourism is still below pre-pandemic ranks at $6 trillion in 2021. While analyzing the regional picture, trade growth persisted patchy in the third quarter of 2021, considering decreased regional differences in comparison to the first half of the year. In fact, the growth of the services sector’s output has led to employment growth in these economies. In present times, it is of utmost importance to manage services in a more strategic manner, so that economic stability turns into a sustainable feature for the service businesses. According to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) member countries, more than 70 percent of the employed labor force worked in the services sector in 2017; among high-income industrialized OECD member countries, except for Greece, this proportion exceeded 80 percent.  With the advancement of technology, consumerism, digitalization, and never before consumer movements, the services sector has been witnessing drastic changes. Contrary to (Dacko, 2012) services marketing, now a day is not only an approach but is also a strategy to be pursued by all firms. Managers and executives of the Service industry should carefully adapt the marketing mix composition to identify the best services strategy to achieve their marketing and business objectives. To date services marketing has received little strategic attention in the services marketing literature. Most of the research in the service sector has been concentrated on SDL and service ecosystems. As per (Pomering & Johnson, 2018) it has been proposed that service organization has strengthened sustainability in terms of environment and society through decision making. This paper is an attempt to propose a model, considering the services as an integral part of any organization. The proposed model is relevant to organizations irrespective of the fact whether they offer tangible goods or intangible services or both in some proportion. The methodology adopted is qualitative and exploratory. Authors have reviewed extensive literature and coupled the same with monitoring of industry trends to come up with the model for service marketing. The model may be applied as a strategic tool, to design and allocate the marketing mix components for enhanced visibility in the market

Food waste or Bio-waste composting and its role in sustainable development is explained in food waste is a growing area of concern with many costs to our community in terms of waste collection, disposal and greenhouse gases. When rotting food ends up in landfill it turns into methane, a greenhouse gas that is particularly damaging to the environment. Composting is biochemical process in which organic materials are biologically degraded, resulting in the production of organic by products and energy in the form of heat. Heat is trapped within the composting mass, leading to the phenomenon of self-heating.This overall process provide us Bio-Manure.     Stabilization of Black Cotton Soil using Lime, Coir Fiber & Rice Husk

    Because of their low bearing capacity, the expansive black cotton soils\u27 high swelling and shrinking characteristics have posed numerous challenges to construction projects. When subjected to varying levels of moisture, black cotton soil expands and contracts rapidly. As a result, stabilising the soil is necessary to address these issues. Rice Husk Ash (RHA), Cori Fiber, and Lime are being tested in this study to see if they can act as a stabilising material in the expansive black cotton soil. The impact of RHA, CF, and LIME on the expansive soil\u27s index and engineering properties was studied in the lab. Coir fibre concentration is 1.5 percent, lime is 5 percent by weight of dry soil, and RHA is mixed in at a ratio of 20 percent. The virgin soil sample is first tested for specific gravity and grain size distribution. With and without these admixtures soil\u27s index properties like its plastic limit, liquid limit and shrinkage limit and its strength properties like its California Bearing Ratio, Unconfined Compressive Strength tests are discovered. According to the test results, a combination of 5 percent lime and 1.5 percent coir fibre yielded the strongest soil and best index properties
