    An Analysis on Contribution of All India Refinancing Institutions in SME, Housing and Agricultural and Rural Development: Case of India

    This research work examines assistance sanctioned and disbursed by the All India Refinancing Institutions contributed to development finance from 1984 to 2023. The financial assistance sanctioned and disbursed for development finance is the base information that is retrieved from different annual reports of RBI, NABARD, SIDBI and NHB. A simple descriptive technique is used to obtain the results, address the gap and satisfy the defined objectives. The output revealed that AIRFI has been maintaining its growth trends i.e. average growth rate of sanction and disbursement is sixteen and fifteen per cent respectively. The average unused fund is also at eight per cent which is at benchmark and under control. The thirty-nine years annual average sanction and disbursement growth rate at 0.41 and 0.39 per cent p.a. respectively, and the annual unused fund percentage growth rate at 0.22 per cent p.a. which is also at the benchmark. At the firm level, the continuous better contribution of NABARD in the last thirty-nine years for agriculture and rural sector growth is outstanding. The contribution of SIDBI and NHB is also very good for MSME and housing sector growth. Although the ratio of unused funds to the sanctioned amount of SIDBI is high during this period, it should be addressed by the government. If the union government want more growth from these sectors additional financial facilities are required to strengthen NABARD, SIDBI and NHB for further growth. Other financial institutions must understand the working mechanism of AIRFI to compete in the competitive world

    Cake-Hut: A Novel E-Commerce Platform for Booking and Purchasing Cakes Online

    This research paper proposes an e-commerce cake shopping system: ‘Cake-Hut’ which will enable customers and cake bakery owners to handle their regular online selling and buying activities. Cake Hut is a Web Application where people can purchase customized cakes online from their favorite cake bakery according to their preferred designs or else, they can choose pre-defined cake designs from set of designs which were uploaded by sellers. The system is developed to replace the existing cake purchasing and order management methods, making it more effective and efficient while also addressing user needs. Agile software development methodology approach has been used to develop and test the system in a systematic manner, which includes the development phases of planning, design, and testing and implementation. This system is developed using React JS for frontend development and Express JS for backend development, MongoDB database, and runs on Node JS runtime environment

    With technology advancing, manual systems must be converted to user friendly automated system. Researchers have designed the Library Management System to transfer the physical view of libraries into a digital view. This project offers knowledge on creating and putting in place an LMS. In traditional library system people have to search for a particular book from shelf to shelf which is a tedious and time-consuming work. It can be more cumbersome if the library hasn’t a properly maintained library system. The manual system isn’t user-friendly not only for the borrowers but also for librarians. They have to keep an eye on each and every book lending and borrowing. And They occasionally have to arrange and classify the books. The process of creating reports and analyzing data is also highly laborious. LMS assists the librarians for all these tasks. They can simply view, update, delete, read books and articles to manage the resources. Readers don’t have to stand in long queues and no need of going around to read a book. They can read a book just by clicking a single button. The full system is designed using MERN stack, with the aid of JWT authentications and JOY dependency validations

    Paddy Rice Smart Farming

    It is anticipated that machine learning (ML) and the internet of things (IoT) would significantly impact smart farming and engage the entire supply chain, in particular for the production of rice. Rice smart farming offers new capabilities to foresee changes and find possibilities thanks to the growing amount and variety of data gathered and obtained by emerging technologies in the Internet of Things (IoT). The accuracy of the models created through the use of ML algorithms is significantly impacted by the quality of the data obtained from sensor readings. These three components, machine learning (ML), the internet of things (IoT), and agriculture have been used extensively to improve all aspects of rice production processes in agriculture. As a result, traditional rice farming practices have been transformed into a new era known as rice smart farming or rice precision agriculture. We do a study of the most recent research that has been done on the application of intelligent data processing technology in agriculture, namely in the production of rice, in this paper. We analyze the applications of machine learning in a variety of scenarios, including smart irrigation for paddy rice, predicting paddy rice yield estimation, predicting droughts and floods, monitoring paddy rice disease, and paddy rice sample classification. In each of these scenarios, we describe the data that was captured and elaborate on the role that machine learning algorithms play in paddy rice smart agriculture. This paper also presents a framework that maps the activities defined in rice smart farming, data used in data modeling, and machine learning algorithms used for each activity defined in the production and post-production phases of paddy rice.

    Security and Safety-Based Parking Area Monitoring System

    Security became a major concern these days in parking areas. Nowadays vehicles are rapidly increasing due to the rapid increase in parking traffic. Vehicle-safe parking has become a serious problem for organizations and Universities. Some vehicles do not register them legally or utilize the license plates of other vehicles. Those license plates can be used to determine the identification of a vehicle accused of committing a crime around the organization. So only detecting the number plate as the Vehicle identification at the parking entrance is not safe. For that proposing a novelty-based Smart Parking Area Monitoring System to overcome this problem. Here, train the vehicle model using the neural network transfer learning technique to identify the vehicle model and classify the vehicles. The entrance of the organization detects and compares the vehicle models with number plate details and operates the barrier system based on the vehicle’s authorization status. Nowadays parking systems detect wrong-parked vehicles using sensors in every parking slot. It is very costly and not efficiently working. This research proposes a wrong parking detection system by using only the CCTV cameras of parking areas. Here using Yolo object detection and OpenCV line detection algorithms to detect parking slots and wrong-parked vehicles

    In this research paper we are proposing an application that can be used to manage people\u27s medical affairs in an organized manner. This article included what research methods we used and what results we gathered from those methods. It also includes the existing problems we identified when managing medical affairs. This paper also includes what tools and technologies and software development methods we used to develop the proposed system. Our proposed system allows patients to manage their medical appointments and medications in a highly organized manner. In this system we introduce a new functionality where users can share their personal medical records with other parties (doctors) through an access token. This access token method is very secure, and the creator of the token has full authority. In summary, this research paper contains how we gathered our requirements and how we identified existing problems that users faced when managing their medical records, what are the existing applciations in the same domain and what are the advantages and limitaions of those applications, how we developed the proposed system, what are the tools and technologies we used to develop and maintain the developmenet process of the proposed system, and how the system will make people\u27s lives easier

    IOT-Based Gemstone Detection and Analysis System

    “A gemstone is a mineral stone that be formed from the result of geological processes and has a hardness above 7 Mohs” [2]. [1] This current research is undertaken to create a system that can identify the gemstones of the Corundum Family. According to [2], there are four characteristics that can be used to identify the type of gemstone based on physical aspects. These four aspects are refraction of light, the color, density, and hardness of the mineral contained in the stone. One of the countries that produce the most gemstones and has the highest proportion of gemstones is Sri Lanka. There are 200 diverse types of gemstones around the globe, but only about 75 distinct kinds of coloured and colourless gemstones from 10 primary families could be discovered in Sri Lanka. Although Sri Lanka is naturally rich in the gemstone industry, the methods or techniques that are used to verify and validate gemstones are yet manual and traditional. The gemstone trade continues to thrive as miners and traders are far more knowledgeable about the different varieties of gemstone families. The method of verifying gemstones is fraught with challenges for both clients and traders.  This research is conducted to invent an Internet of Things (IoT) based gemstone detector that can identify gemstones based on their refractive index, colour, and Cut-Shape, it is possible to effectively address the issues that customers and traders both confront. The refractive index, colour, and Cut-Shape of the gemstone will be determined via image processing, and the IoT device will be utilized to cluster the other elements

    Use of GIS to Discover the Existence of Terrorism

    Threats to national defense can be military or non-military. The greatest unresolved threat and challenge facing the Indonesian state is terrorism. The Indonesian government has dealt with terrorism, but catching terrorists remains difficult. The purpose of this research is to provide an alternative that uses Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) to find out where terrorists are hiding. The limitation of this research is the mountainous region in Central Sulawesi Province. The method used in this study is to use the GEOINT approach which is a combination of remote sensing, geographic information systems (GIS) and cartography, to extract information and analyze the results. The analysis was performed using a weighted linear combination method. The quantification process is carried out on all spatial data used for each parameter related to the presence of terrorists in the mountains. Quantification is done by changing each sub-parameter class to a value between 1-5. Each value is then weighted as a coefficient to arrive at the final score. From the results of the analysis and discussion it can be concluded that the GEOINT analysis can be used as an initial research on terrorist hideouts

    Speech Recognition Robot using Endpoint Detection Algorithm

    Controlling the machines and environment with speech makes human life easier and comfortable. In this direction a robot has been designed which can easily be controlled through the speech commands given by an authorised person. This work consists of two phases: Speech recognition and Robot control. Voice commands are given as an input, which is processed using the LabVIEW software. Speech processing is done using two algorithms: Endpoint detection algorithm and Silence removal algorithm. These algorithms differentiate the voice signal from the background noise, detect the word boundary and extract only the voiced part of the input signal and removing the background noise associated with it. The extracted voice command signal is then matched with the stored templates and on match, the code corresponding to a particular movement of robot is encoded and then transmitted to the robot controlling module via RF transmitter. RF receiver in robot controlling module receives the transmitted signal, which is decoded and applied as an input to microcontroller. The microcontroller interprets the code and initiates the robot movement depending on the command given. By giving proper command, robot can be made to stop, move forward, backward, turn left, turn right etc., This robot can be deployed in hazardous environment and can be controlled by an authorised person. It may also assist disabled people to carry out their daily work with ease
