    No full text
Due to the advent of globalisation, the establishment of global markets has led to a notable increase in the number of enterprises operating across many nations. The emergence of multicultural organisations may be attributed to companies\u27 efforts to extend their operations outside conventional geographical boundaries. Within these firms, individuals from many nationalities interact with one another in order to accomplish the objectives of the company. The attraction and profitability of these expansions for enterprises may be evident; yet, the operational and managerial challenges associated with global firms are more complex compared to local ones. The global business landscape is shaped by a multitude of factors, including divergences in social, cultural, economic, legal, and political contexts. Engaging in global commercial operations exposes organisations to a range of potential risks, such as political risk, currency risk, and cultural risk, among others. Human resources play a vital role in facilitating the smooth running of company divisions, both at local and worldwide levels. The objective of this research is to examine the challenges associated with cross-cultural marketing faced by organisations engaged in global marketing endeavors. The research highlights the significance of possessing a comprehensive comprehension of a foreign culture, demonstrating respect towards a foreign culture, and implementing management practices that are appropriately attuned to cultural variations. These factors are identified as crucial in enabling a company to effectively address the challenges associated with cross-cultural marketing

In the present generation, the social life of everyone has become associated with the online social networks. These sites have made a drastic change in the way we pursue our social life. Making friends and keeping in contact with them and their updates has become easier. But with their rapid growth, many problems like fake profiles, online impersonation have also grown. There is no feasible solution exist to control these problems. In this project, we came up with a framework with which automatic detection of fake profiles is possible and is efficient. This framework uses classification techniques like Support Vector Machine, Nave Bayes and Decision trees to classify the profiles into fake or genuine classes. As, this is an automatic detection method, it can be applied easily by online social networks which has millions of profile whose profiles cannot be examined manually

The modern pitch and domed roofs design of the Malaysian mosques was created as a symbolic of Muslim place of worship besides functioning as a filter to the outdoor climate.  Malaysia is a country that is famous for the high air temperature and relative humidity and inconsistent air movement of local climate which can influence the indoor environment.  The different roof designs of Malaysian mosques also give impact to the believers in conducting prayers and other activities inside the mosques.  Therefore, this study is to investigate the difference of roof design that influenced the thermal comfort and believers’ convenience in the mosque\u27s building.  It was found that the traditional roof design of mosques in Malaysia was the pitched roof with two and three-stacked mosques whereas most of the modern roof design was the domed roof.  Both the pitched and domed roof of the mosque\u27s design had the ability to control the indoor air distribution inside the mosque building.  The pitch roof had the ability to control the circulation of the indoor air movement to achieve the equilibrium state whereas the domed roof could stratify the outdoor cool air to replace the hot indoor air inside the mosque building.  Therefore, the future researcher could focus more strategies in order to improve the roof design of mosque for better indoor air inside the mosque building.&nbsp

Cloud computing has brought revolution in IT (Information Technology) sector. It has transform the way organizations and individuals  process, store and access applications and data ,  by offering scalable and on-demand access to computing resources including networks, servers, storage  and applications.  It is a flexible service that  allows users to dynamically scale up and down  their resources based on demand which enhances  efficiency and optimizes resource utilization .Cloud computing offers number of benefits and saves cost. It  eliminates the need for investing  in hardware and software. Cloud computing allows users to work from anywhere over internet connection which enhances productivity .However, cloud computing has some challenges such as Security concerns that include unauthorized access and data breach. To provide security in cloud computing environment various authentication and authorization protocols exist but they also suffers from various security attacks. Nowadays three factor MAKA (Mutual Authentication and Key Management) protocol  has gained popularity but they also lacked as they don’t have dynamic revocation mechanism .To address these issues we have proposed a system  based on id , password and biometric based authentication that has  dynamic revocation mechanism and can resist various known attacks

Study and Analysis of Shape of Electrode Implemented in Supercapacitor with Focus on Design and Fabrication for Application in Load

    Get PDF
Electric energy storage is an essential issue in the modern world. Various sorts of research on batteries and supercapacitors are now underway. Supercapacitor is an alternate energy storage device with a high power density and specific capacitance. A supercapacitor is a device that stores electric energy as an electrostatic field. We show a model of an asymmetric supercapacitor built using an anode of activated carbon + manganese dioxide coating on a stainless-steel gauge and a cathode of pure activated carbon coating. Also incorporated with the polyethylene separator. The supercapacitor\u27s energy storage is controlled through modifying the spacing across the two electrodes and the physical shape of the electrodes. We tried four different electrode shapes: square, rectangle, triangle, and semicircle. It has been observed that modifying the shape of the electrode had an effect on most of the parameters. This can be achieved by experimenting with the actual configuration by changing the shape of electrodes in a supercapacitor.  This provides excellent results and graphs displaying the maximum capacitance of supercapacitor with rectangular electrode designs

    Get PDF
An individual\u27s response to an upsetting environmental event is referred to as stress. Physical, psychological, and behavioural aberrations are the outcome of an organisational participant\u27s adaptive reaction to an external event.  Stress results from an imbalance between the difficulties faced and confidence in one\u27s capacity to handle them.  The difficulties can originate from outside forces and might be brought on by excessive or insufficient pressure.  They could also originate from an individual\u27s own internal value systems, wants, and expectations. Stress suggests some kind of pressure on the person, might be seen as a concern that it can lead to a psychological imbalance, and can undoubtedly have an impact on how well a person does.  It is especially interested in how individuals adjust to changes in their personal, professional, and environmental conditions. The current research aims to evaluate the variables impacting the occupational stress of chosen employees of private and public sector banks in the Erode area
