Trends in the use of cloud computing technologies to create personalized learning trajectories for students of the Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine
In recent years, reform trends have been noticeable in the system of extracurricular education: the goal is to create a new system of education that promotes personal professional self-determination of children, their adaptation to life in a dynamic information society, development of creative abilities, and involvement in culture. Personality-oriented education is not the formation of a personality with predetermined properties, but the creation of favorable conditions for the full identification and development of personal functions of the student. Among the most fruitful applications of the computer Y. I. Mashbitz notes the importance of implementing problem-based learning; forming creative thinking of schoolchildren, their readiness for creative work. M.I. Zhaldak stresses that the use of ICTs in the learning process "should not be concerned only with the study of certain curriculum material, but above all with the all-round and harmonious development of students' personalities, their creative abilities". V. Yu. Bykov notes that in recent years, further dynamic development acquire means and technologies of information and communication networks, in particular, the Internet, forming a computer and technological platform of the educational environment of modern education, especially open. On this basis, the subject-technological organization of information educational space is carried out, the processes of accumulation and storage of various subject collections of electronic computing resources are put in order, equal access to them for students is provided, ICT-support of learning processes, scientific research and education management is significantly improved
Cloud-based tools for teaching higher mathematics to future engineers: the USA experience
Among the components of fundamental training of an engineer as a highly qualified specialist is the acquisition of knowledge in higher mathematics and the ability to apply the acquired knowledge in professional activities. One of the countries where the use of information and communication technologies in teaching higher mathematics to engineering students is given due attention is the United States of America. The basic level of engineering education in the USA is a bachelor's degree (4 years). There is no government industry standard for higher education in the United States: there is a strong accreditation system led by ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology), a non-governmental organization, which, in particular, evaluates the quality of training in engineering specialties based on the "Engineering Criteria 2000" (Engineering Criteria 2000 - EC2000). The third criterion defines the requirements to the knowledge and skills of engineering graduates, among which the "ability to apply applied knowledge in mathematics, science and engineering in professional activities" has a high weight
Using cloud technologies in the training of computer systems engineers
One of the ways to use cloud technologies in the process of computer systems engineer training is to control the process of forming his/her professional competence, in particular - in the form of testing. This way of assessing the quality of specialist training will allow testing and teaching students regardless of their location, ensuring the security and confidentiality of all data. The use of cloud technologies in the formation of professional competence of a computer systems engineer will allow overcoming such existing barriers as technological, geographical, social, and improve the quality of education. Conducting inspections using cloud technologies does not require students to be physically present during the inspection, which is important in the process of modern life. The use of cloud technology allows not only access to educational materials of different types (text, visual, multimedia), but also to participate in the process of self-assessment of personal level of achievement, to perform joint work with a group or a teacher
Cloud learning technologies in the system of information and communication technologies for educational purposes
Bykov understands information and communication technology as a computer-oriented component of pedagogical technology, reflecting some formalized model of a certain component of the content of training and methods of its presentation in the learning process, represented in this process by pedagogical software and involves the use of computers, computer-oriented learning tools and computer communication networks to solve didactic tasks or their fragments. The above interpretation requires some refinement since the list of ICT tools should be supplemented with cloud ICT tools, which are remote servers for storing and processing data of different types
Cloud tools for learning object-oriented modeling
The social constructivist Web 2.0 tools, exhaustively described in the works of E. D. Patarakin, form the technological basis of combined object-oriented modeling training. The cloud infrastructure opens up opportunities for the use of social services in pedagogical practice:- the use of social services promotes participation in collective constructivist and constructionist activities;- By participating in collective activities using social services, students change their position from a consumer to a creative (research) one;- social services help students to interact
Cloud technologies in a technical university: overview and prospects
The rapid development of information and communication technologies makes it possible to organize the work of students not only individually, but jointly with the ability to simultaneously perform academic tasks (complex thesis projects, etc.). In this approach, data storage is transferred from home computers to remote servers, which form the corresponding "cloud", which makes it possible at a lower cost to obtain a much larger information resource base and access at any point where there is an Internet network
Cloud-based technologies for postgraduate teacher education
Today, reports about the use of the Internet in the educational process is almost no surprise, because it seems that everyone has long agreed on the need for information and communication support training in general education and higher education. However, the actual practice of using these opportunities in many Ukrainian schools, in our opinion, is very far from what is necessary. Often a teacher's work on the Internet is limited to searching and downloading "methodological developments", as well as communication in social networks. Therefore, the urgent task of the system of training and professional development of teachers is to form the necessary ideas about the methodology and didactic capabilities of the global network and, in particular, cloud technologies
Cloud technologies in the system of certification of specialists in the construction industry
The world experience of the construction industry points to the need to permanently improve the qualifications of builders. Thus, in the analytical report of the world experience on technical regulation in construction it is pointed out to the regularity of activities to improve the qualifications of specialists in the construction industry. For this purpose the mechanism of conformity assessment is applied, which means the activity aimed at verification and confirmation of fulfillment of the given requirements, in particular to a person or body. Conformity assessments are subject not only to products, but also to the activities of people involved in the manufacture of products. With regard to real estate objects, not only the final products of construction activities - buildings and structures - but also the construction materials and products used for their construction, construction documents, as well as the activities of persons involved in the training of designers and builders; the professional activities of designers and builders, as well as the activities of persons regulating the activities of designers, builders, builders and owners of facilities are subject to evaluation
Using Google cloud services to support the activities of the educational institution
The total informatization of all aspects of modern society leaves educational institutions no other choice than the equally intensive informatization of all managerial and educational processes. This issue is particularly acute for universities that train IT specialists, because it is better to train future professionals by using the products and technologies with which they will work after graduation.Cloud services are an ideal platform to automate the educational process, because, firstly, they do not require the cost of purchasing hardware and administering a ready-made solution, secondly, they allow a large number of users to collaborate simultaneously, and thirdly, cloud technology is the most fashionable trend right now
Using a content management system for shared access to learning resources
One of the areas of development of the World Wide Web that requires complex scientific research is data and content management. This industry contains such areas as big data management, cloud-based data management, multimedia data management, and is also involved in Web-mining, the tasks of clustering, classification and analysis of data in the Web, Web content modeling, Semantic Web, etc. The task of effective Web content management has become very important for many industries that have emerged on the basis of the WWW infrastructure, including Internet commerce, distance learning and educational Web resources, managing large information portals, developing and maintaining corporate portals, creating Web-resources electronic management, supporting personal sites and blogs
