It was published in 1948 (half a century ago), as number 34 in the “Tierra Firme” collection, by the Fondo de Cultura Económica (Mexico).
The same publishing house, during those years, also published other landmark works of our literature: Ecuador: Drama and Paradox, The Argonauts of the Jungle (Leopoldo Benítez Vinueza), and Ecuadorian Visual Arts (José G. Navarro).Si alguna obra nuestra–, volcada a la crítica, en el contexto del ensayo literario– merece el calificativo de "Clásica" esa es La Novela Ecuatoriana de Ángel F. Rojas.
Salió a la luz en 1948 (hace medio centenio), con el número 34, Colección “Tierra Firme”, del Fondo de Cultura Económica (México).

No full text We had the opportunity to interview Mr. Mabry on TV alongside Dr. Bermejo, who was collaborating with him, exchanging scientific points of view. In that interview, we talked about the different research projects and how natural products are used in the US, and we learned that they are focused on DNA studies there, and that Europe is the great defender of natural products. Dr. Bermejo asked him about Taxol, a product isolated from the bark of the Pacific yew (*Taxus brevifolia*), the most important and useful antitumor agent discovered in recent decades. Dr. Bermejo pointed out that, unfortunately, the content of this substance in the bark is very low and not very soluble in the carrier agents generally used in injections, which is why other researchers in France looked for another variety of yew (*Taxus baccata*).Tuvimos la ocasión de entrevistar al Sr. Mabry para la TV junto al Dr. Bermejo, quien colaboraba con él, intercambiando puntos de vista científicos. En dicha entrevista hablamos de las distintas investigaciones y cómo utilizan los productos naturales en EE.UU., y supimos que allí están centrados en los estudios del ADN, y que Europa es la gran defensora de los productos naturales. Dermatosis Ictiosiforme y manchas hipocromicas como manifestaciones clinicas de Linfoma Cutaneo de Celulas T Relacionadas con HTLV
No full text We describe a black patient who is seropositive for HTLV, who presented with generalized ichthyosiform dermatosis, with hypochromic macules especially on the lower extremities, as well as palmoplantar keratodermia. Histopathology suggestive of T-cell cutaneous lymphoma leads us to believe that this is the first reported case of stage IB T-cell cutaneous lymphoma related to HTLV-I in Ecuador according to clinical, histological, and serological data. Describimos una paciente de raza negra seropositivo para HTLV quien presentó dermatosis ictiosiforme generalizada, sobre la cual se encuentran máculas hipocrómicas especialmente en extremidades inferiores, además queratodermia palmoplantar. Histopatología sugestiva de linfoma cutáneo de células T, creemos que se trata del primer caso de linfoma cutáneo de células T estadio IB relacionado con HTLV-I reportado en el Ecuador de acuerdo a los datos clínicos, histológicos y serológicos
