Big Data and Artificial Intelligence in Policy Making: A Mini-Review Approach
The digitization era in public affairs is increasingly disrupting Indonesia. Governance in Indonesia is forced to implement aspects of digitalization in its public services. Big data and artificial intelligence have been used in other scientific activities that provide colour to governance with various scientific disciplines. This study discusses the use of big data and artificial intelligence in policymaking in Indonesia by focusing on the ability of policymakers in policymaking. The method used in this paper is qualitative research with a literature study approach. We reviewed articles with related themes as many as 25 articles published in the last five years from ScienceDirect. The result of this research is that the dynamics that exist in the implementation of public services require appropriate and fast decision-making, considering that this is a community demand. Therefore, public leaders need to disrupt themselves in public services so that these services can be served quickly by enriching skills in big data and artificial intelligence. In conclusion, the critical aspect of the public policy decision-making process is similar to that of any other stage in the policymaking process. Like the preceding steps in the public policy process, the decision-making stage differs depending on the nature of the policy subsystems involved and the degree of consensus faced by decision-makers. The presence of big data in the public sector cannot be disputed as an intriguing approach, particularly during the policy formation cycle. Also, big data and artificial intelligence can help public leaders make decisions to deliver the best policies
Extended AHP Approach with Latent Factor and Stratum in Prioritizing and Positioning of OTOP Thailand’s Program for Elderly Market
We proposed a modified AHP technique to prioritize and position the OTOP product for the elderly consumer market. This research developed and extended the methodology proposed by R. Suttipong to account for both latent and stratum factors. The product preferences defined as the latent factor are included in the model. This paper applied the AHP with the latent factor of product preferences inserted into the calculation. The prioritized weights are computed overall and at each stratum classified by gender. This stratum has been statistically found significant by S. Phanphet based on the large survey result of product preference and affects the latent factor of the preferences. This proposed method leads to new findings on the implementation plan to promote the OTOP product among different sectors attributed to the latent factor. This newly proposed analysis technique was used to set the strategic action plan for product development for each gender group for the northern Thailand OTOP development program. This proposed technique can justify and prioritize the group of OTOP for efficient product development

Analysing Monetary Factors that Influence the Coastal Fisherman Income during COVID-19 Pandemic in West Aceh Regency, Indonesia
This study analyses the fisherman’s income through monetary factors during the COVID-19 pandemic in coastal areas of West Aceh Regency in Aceh Province, Indonesia. This study applied cross-section data over 2021 using descriptive quantitative research and OLS model analysis (Ordinary Least Square). Research revealed monetary factors in terms of the inflation of groceries price negatively influenced the fisherman income at West Aceh Regency. Meanwhile, the diesel price variable positively influenced fisherman’s income. During the COVID-19 pandemic, there was an increase in groceries price (inflation) by 1,06 times or the consumer price index (CPI) of groceries price at 106 percent. However, diesel prices were still the same as before the COVID-19 pandemic because fishermen used subsidised fuel at IDR 5.150 per litre. However, the quota of subsidised diesel did not fulfil the fisherman needs, so they must buy non-subsidised diesel. It impacted the operational fishing cost, which was bigger than the fisherman’s income. Moreover, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the average fisherman’s income decreased to IDR 1.500.000-IDR 3.000.000 each trip compared with before the COVID-19 pandemic at IDR 5.000.000- IDR 7.000.000 each trip. It was caused by low fish prices caused by the decreasing fish demand

A Review of Factors that influence Equity Premium Literature: A Mini-Review Approach
The equity premium (market risk premium) is one of the most crucial a basis for consideration of asset allocation and is one of the centers of asset pricing. Numerous previous researches have examined the factors that predict the size of the premium equity (excess return risk asset less risk-free assets). The premium equity size is why investors choose risky investments (stocks) over non-risk investments (saving products). This study aims to comprehend the predictor of the equity premium. This study was designed using qualitative approaches by reviewing several relevant pieces of literature. A total of 49 articles were collected from Science Direct, Wiley online library, and Taylor & Francis. The results indicated that oil price negatively affects the equity premium, especially during recessions and gold bars or coins. The economic policy uncertainty and return dispersion have negative relationships in China and others but not in U.S. commodities. Economic indicators have failed to predict equity premium in recession but have power with nonparametric tests in bullish markets. Technical indicators are better than economic indicators for predicting equity premium. The policy implication of this review article is the finding of trends in researching premium equity using predictive regression and structured predictive input that focuses more on the U.S. than on emerging markets, and none of the models have reached past 80 percent. Future research should make models analyze technical indicators and news by adding asymmetry, grouping based on equity and commodity distribution, time and profitability, and dynamic and macro models in emerging markets
