Ride-Hailing Assignment Problem under Waiting Time Uncertainty using Interval-Valued Fuzzy Quadratic
Ride-hailing is a creative idea created by transportation supported by science and technology. Ride-hailing services can help daily community activities. The issue with ride-hailing is that traffic conditions are unpredictable, implying that waiting times are uncertain. The time passengers spend waiting from when they book a ride service until the driver arrives at the pick-up location is called waiting time. This study suggests a quadratic programming technique for minimizing waiting time while accounting for the unpredictability of pick-up travel time. The interval-valued fuzzy quadratic programming method handles the uncertainty and imprecision of the anticipated journey time. When allocating drivers to pick up passengers, interval-valued fuzzy numbers can provide a more realistic representation of waiting time uncertainty. As a result, the interval-valued fuzzy quadratic programming model can handle the uncertainty in waiting time for ride-hailing assignment problems. The model\u27s performance is evaluated using waiting time and the number of people served. The model\u27s performance is demonstrated numerically using the simulation-based case study. This study shows how to utilize a mathematical method to solve real-world problems with uncertainty and improve user welfare

The Innovation of Malaysia National Costume at Miss Universe: Memoir Goddess of Kumang
Miss Universe, with a history spanning over 71 years, is regarded as the most prestigious beauty pageant worldwide. It was first held in 1952 and has continued its legacy, playing a crucial role in empowering women in the changing times by Phongpaichit (1989) and Malik et al. (2023). Malaysia has participated in Miss Universe since 1964 and achieved notable success by reaching the top 15 in 1970 by Abdul Hamid et al. (2015). The main objective of this research is to incorporate the Iban folklore figure, Goddess of Kumang, into the idea of Malaysia\u27s national costume for the Miss Universe pageant. The research follows a qualitative approach, focusing on the practice and artistic experimentation to illustrate the representation of the Kumang Goddess in the National Costume, based on Peirce\u27s Theory of Atkin (2010). The data collection process encompasses observation, documentation, and visualization methods to elucidate each step undertaken while producing illustrations. The research outcomes yield numerous fashion illustration concepts centered around the theme of the Kumang Goddess. The significance of this research lies in its endeavor to preserve and introduce a fresh dimension to the fashion industry by incorporating folklore characters as creative inspirations in artistic work
Examining the Effect of Bank Health Level towards Stock Return of Commercial Banks in Three-Selected ASEAN Countries
Today, various main factors, including the banking sector, support a country\u27s economy. The growth and performance of banks in a country are factors in measuring the country\u27s economic growth. The increasing number of banking stocks traded in ASEAN countries proves banking development. However, since middle-to-low-income countries dominate ASEAN, it opens up a greater risk to the volatility of bank stock returns because of economic turmoil. Non-performing loans (NPL), Good Corporate Governance (GCG), Return on Assets (ROA), and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) are found to influence bank stock return in some studies, but other similar studies show the opposite. Therefore, this study uses 28 banks in ASEAN countries as a sample, consisting of 10 Indonesian banks, 8 Malaysian banks, and 10 Thailand banks. Data analysis uses regression analysis with moderated regression analysis (MRA) and discrimination tests. The result shows NPL and GCG have no significant effect on bank stock return, ROA has a positive and significant effect, and CAR has a negative and significant effect. Price to Book Value (PBV) has a positive and significant effect on bank stock return but can only moderate ROA on stock return. The discrimination test shows that ASEAN countries\u27 NPL, GCG, ROA, and CAR differ significantly. Therefore, banks in ASEAN ought to maintain their health through these factors to maximize their stock return

The purpose of this study is to analyze the perceptions of MSME actors on capital strengthening programs for micro and small cooperatives, analyze the feasibility (1) of financing with the 5C principle and implementation of policies, (2) analyze the influence of MSME actors\u27 perceptions of capital strengthening programs for micro cooperatives and small impact on policy implementation, as well as the influence of the two variables simultaneously. This research was conducted using quantitative methods by capturing information from quantitative data. Quantitative data were obtained from field studies distributing questionnaires and official government agency publications. This study uses a validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear analysis, hypothesis testing, and the coefficient of determination. The study results concluded that the amount of arrears each year was increasing. The perceptions of SMEs towards the capital strengthening program for micro and small cooperatives did not significantly affect policy implementation. Furthermore, the analysis of Financing Feasibility with the 5C principle has a positive result. However, no significant effect on Policy Implementation, as well as for the variable Perceptions of MSME Actors on the Capital Strengthening Program for Micro and Small Cooperatives and the Feasibility Analysis of Financing with the 5C principle simultaneously does not have a positive and significant influence on Policy Implementation
Modelling Association between Production Practices and Business Performance of Northern Thailand OTOP Using Ordinal Logistic Regression
This study presents the model representing the association of the operational management practices of the OTOP producer to the business performance and revenue growth. This study used ordinal logistic regression to analyse the collected business performance data of 101 OTOP producers located in three northern provinces of Thailand. The production and operation management practices and their levels of adoption on the Production and Stock Management, Technology and Innovation adoption, Cost and Data and IT management assessed during the site visits were statistically modelled and tested for association with business performance. The ordinal logistic regression with nominal explanatory variables was used to identify the association between the OTOP business performance measured with the revenue growth and those production and operation practices. This analysis considers the different contexts of the different OTOP product groups. The association model was demonstrated in terms of the odd ratios and event probability of gaining higher revenue growth

The Effect of Education and Health on Poverty Reduction in Aceh Province, Indonesia: Moderating Role of Special Autonomy Fund
Aceh is the highest poverty rate among other provinces on Sumatra Island, and this condition has been going on for 20 years (2002-2021). Poverty that lasts a long time can result in the inheritance of poverty to the next generation so that it can give rise to groups of people who are always poor, which bring various problems. To overcome the problem, the central government grants special autonomy funds expected to reduce poverty in Aceh Province by strengthening the education and health sectors. Many previous studies have examined education and health as determinants of poverty. However, there was still limited research using special autonomy funds as a moderating variable. Therefore, the authors are motivated to fill the gap in research related to special autonomy funds as a moderating variable on the effect of education and health on poverty in Aceh Province. This study aims to investigate the role of special autonomy funds in moderating education and health on poverty using panel data for 2010-2021 in 23 districts/cities in Aceh Province, Indonesia. Analysis using MRA concluded that education had no significant effect, while health negatively affected the poverty rate. Furthermore, special autonomy funds are significant in moderating education and health on poverty. So, to reduce poverty, special autonomy funds can focus more on the education and health sectors. It is recommended that the government still utilize special autonomy funds that focus on supporting both programs, increasing public education and health, since special autonomy funds are proven to strengthen the effect of those two sectors in poverty reductio
