No full textThis article aims to reflect on the role of money in modern societies. To do this, two readings that have been made, in this sense, throughout the 20th century will be addressed. On the one hand, the one carried out by Ortega y Gasset. The Spanish philosopher will draw attention to the power of money in modern societies and will explain why, in the 20th century, they were probably facing one of the most chrematistic times in history. Second, Raymond Aron\u27s reading will be addressed, who, from a political perspective, will also point out, albeit indirectly, how money intervenes in the life of modern democracies.En el presente artículo se busca reflexionar sobre el papel del dinero en las sociedades modernas. Para ello, se abordarán dos lecturas que se han realizado al respecto a lo largo del siglo XX. Por un lado, aquella que realiza Ortega y Gasset. El filósofo español llamará la atención sobre el poder del dinero en las sociedades modernas y explicará por qué, en el siglo XX, se encontraban probablemente ante una de las épocas más crematísticas de la historia. En segundo lugar, se abordará la lectura que realiza Raymond Aron quien, desde una perspectiva política, señalará también, aunque de manera indirecta, cómo interviene el dinero en la vida de las democracias modernas
An exploration of the interdependencies betweeen the real exchange rate and the size of the tradable sector in a small open economy
No full textA pesar de su importancia y complejidad, la interdependencia entre el tipo de cambio real y el tamaño del sector transable no ha sido estudiada en detalle por la literatura existente. Este artículo busca cubrir dichas deficiencias elaborando un modelo neoclásico de equilibrio general para una economía pequeña que explica como las variaciones en la productividad total de los factores, en la dotación de factores, en los términos de intercambio y en los servicios de la deuda impactan en el tipo de cambio real de equilibrio y en el tamaño del sector transable. Midiendo las variaciones en la asignación de recursos por los cambios en la participación del sector transable en el producto, mostramos efectos adicionales a los ya conocidos efecto del gasto y de los movimientos de recursos; a decir, el efecto de las ganancias extraordinarias, el efecto precio transable, y los efectos gasto y sustitución generados relacionados a los servicios de la deuda.The complex interdependences between the real exchange rates and the size of the tradable goods sector have not been fully explored in the existing literature. This article aims to full this gap by developing a neo-classical Australian general equilibrium model to further explore these linkages and to explain the impact of total factor productivity, factor endowments, terms of trade and debt services (net of transfers and/or aid flows) on the equilibrium real exchange rate and the size of the tradable sector. Measuring changes in the allocation of resources by changes in the share of tradable goods in GDP, we show that in addition to the well-known spending and resource movement effects, that there are four further separately identifiable effects, which we refer to as the extraordinary profit effect, the traded price effect, the expenditure movement effect and the debt substitution effect. The relative strengths of these additional effects help to determine the size of the tradable goods sector and hence the economic structure of a small open economy
El cristianismo primitivo como religiosidad popular en el mundo mediterráneo
No full textThis article proposes guidelines to interpret historically Ealy Christianity, from the first to the beginning of the third Century, in the light of recent work on Popular Culture in the Ancient Mediterranean World. That research perspective tries to put Ealy Christian practices in relationship with cultural perceptions, concrete needs, and expectations of the subaltern groups of the Roman Empire. Ancient Christianity should then be studied mainly by its magical practices, and its popular modes of narrative, who focused on domestic relationships.Este artículo propone orientaciones para interpretar históricamente al cristianismo primitivo, desde el primer hasta el início del tercer siglo, en sintonia con la investigación reciente sobre cultura popular en el mundo mediterráneo. Esta perspectiva intenta relacionar el cristianismo primitivo con las percepciones culturales, las necesidades concretas y las expectativas de los grupos subalternos del Imperio Romano. Proponemos acá que el cristianismo antiguo debería entonces ser mejor estudiado a partir de sus prácticas mágicas, sus modos de narración popular, que ponían énfasis en las relaciones domésticas

No full text90 theological conversations are studied, carried out between 05/2020 and 05/2021, with various representatives of the academic, cultural and pastoral world linked to the change of time from Argentina, through an empirical-phenomenological, hermeneutical, theological-pastoral method. The content of each dialogue is synthesized, systematically organized into six sections, and an interpretive narrative of the whole is offered.En el siguiente texto se estudian 90 conversatorios teológicos, llevados a cabo entre 05/2020 y 05/2021, con variados representantes del mundo académico, cultural y pastoral vinculados al cambio de época desde Argentina, a través de un método empírico-fenomenológico, hermenéutico, teologal-pastoral. Se sintetiza el contenido de cada diálogo, se los organiza sistemáticamente en seis secciones, y se ofrece una narrativa interpretativa del conjunto

No full textFirst, a survey of the history of philosophy is undertaken to show how different thinkers have recognised the agency of the image. By picking up the threads offered by the ancient concept of active images, the late medieval multiperspectivity in relation to images, the founding theory of the modern state, the elements of image activity found in philosophy from Leibniz to Vico, from Hegel to Peirce, and, finally, various returns to these traditions that took place in the 20th century, an updated systematisation becomes possible: schematic, substitutive and intrinsic image acts. Thirdly, the relationship between image act theory and contemporary philosophy, mainly new realism and the philosophy of incarnation, is analysed.En primer lugar se hace un recorrido por la historia de la filosofía para mostrar cómo distintos pensadores han reconocido la agencia de la imagen. Si se retoman los hilos ofrecidos por el antiguo concepto de imágenes activas, la multiperspectividad de la tardía Edad Media en relación a las imágenes, la teoría que funda el estado moderno, los elementos de actividad de las imágenes que se encuentran en la filosofía de Leibniz a Vico, de Hegel a Peirce, y, finalmente, varios retornos a esas tradiciones que se llevaron a cabo en el siglo XX, se hace posible una sistematización actualizad: los actos de imagen esquemáticos, los substitutivos y los intrínsecos. No full textThe notion of event is presented as one of the fundamental philosophical concepts to understand and interpret reality. In this article we propose to show the critical functionalities that are synthesized in the notion of event anchored in the Heideggerian theoretical position. We maintain that these three functions that we collect around the event turn out to be a relevant and original contribution to contemporary philosophical reflections.La noción de acontecimiento se presenta como uno de los conceptos filosóficos fundamentales para comprender e interpretar la realidad. En este artículo nos proponemos mostrar las funcionalidades críticas que se encuentran sintetizadas en la noción de acontecimiento con anclaje en la posición teórica heideggeriana. Sostenemos que estas tres funciones que recogemos en torno al acontecimiento resultan ser un aporte relevante y original para las reflexiones filosóficas contemporáneas
Análisis comparativo de multifónicos en la familia de saxofones
No full textThis work presents a comparative analysis of multiphonics in the different members of the saxophone family. Starting from the intuitive premise that the same fingering on two different saxophones would result in the same multiphonic but transposed, 18 examples were analysed from two different perspectives: 1) multiphonics with the same fingering on different saxophones; 2) multiphonics with the same notes (sounding pitches) but different fingerings on different saxophones. In both cases, the study involved spectral analysis of a set of multiphonics specially selected for their particular characteristics, including a transcription to musical notation of the main spectral components. As a complement, the spectral analysis of similar multiphonics were compared, focusing on saxophones that share the same tuning (soprano and tenor saxophones in Bb, alto and baritone in Eb). The results obtained in this work, allow us to open research questions for the future, mainly considering timbre perception of those multiphonics that, sharing the same spectral structure, present amplitude variations in the pitch components between saxophones.El presente trabajo realiza un análisis comparativo de multifónicos en los diferentes integrantes de la familia del saxofón. Partiendo de la premisa intuitiva de que una misma digitación en dos saxofones con afinaciones diferentes daría como resultado el mismo multifónico pero transpuesto, se analizaron 18 ejemplos desde dos perspectivas diferentes: 1) multifónicos que presentan la misma digitación en diferentes saxofones; 2) multifónicos que presentan las mismas alturas (en nota real) en diferentes saxofones y que por lo tanto tienen diferente digitación. En ambos casos el estudio realizado implicó el análisis espectral de un conjunto de multifónicos especialmente seleccionado por sus características particulares, junto con una transcripción a notación musical de las principales componentes espectrales considerando su amplitud. Como complemento, se realizó una comparación de espectros de multifónicos cercanos y específicamente enfocada en los saxofones que comparten afinación (alto y barítono afinados en Mib, soprano y tenor, en Sib). El estudio realizado y los resultados obtenidos, permiten abrir preguntas de investigación a futuro, considerando principalmente la percepción tímbrica de aquellos multifónicos que, aun presentando la misma estructura interna, presentan diferencias de amplitud en los componentes de altura en los distintos saxofones
