Get PDFIn recent decades, the critics who have been concerned with the interpretation of the riddles of medieval Hispanic popular lyric have adopted critical approaches oriented towards psychology and pedagogy, without taking into account the stylistic features they present due to their belonging to a specific lyric tradition. Nor have they paid much attention to the analysis of the lyrical subject and its poetic implications. Through the interpretation, from an informed stylistic analysis, some popular riddles fundamental characteristics of subjectivity are evaluated in this lyric form whose main feature is a poetics of dissimulation and obscurity based on the symbolism of the gaze.Los críticos que se han preocupado, en las últimas décadas, por la interpretación de las adivinanzas de la lírica popular medieval hispánica han adoptado enfoques críticos orientados hacia la psicología y la pedagogía, sin tomar tanto en cuenta los rasgos de estilo que presentan por su pertenencia a una tradición lírica específica. Tampoco se han detenido demasiado en el análisis del sujeto lírico y sus implicaciones poéticas. A través de la interpretación de algunas adivinanzas populares, informada a partir de un análisis estilístico, se evalúan algunas características fundamentales de la subjetividad en esta forma lírica cuyo principal rasgo es una poética de la disimulación y el oscurecimiento a partir del simbolismo de la mirada

Get PDFFIGURAS REVISTA ACADÉMICA DE INVESTIGACIÓN sets and builds up –through an act of writing- the act of transforming, tracing or representing in each publication the findings that authors lay on each of the three sections covered in this publication.
In this issue, the Perspectives section includes four articles, two of which are based on the analysis of the phenomenon of racism. One focuses on the racist processes of the Spanish colonial system in the territories of America, and the second takes this reflection towards the questioning of current public policies on public education in the indigenous Ralámuli communities of Sierra Tarahumara, located in northern Mexico. From another field of knowledge, the other two articles -situated in a context prior to modernity- focus on the semiotic content that allows us to approach the Judeo-Spanish mortuary practices, and the other invites us to rethink the riddles of Hispanic medieval popular poetry, beyond the traditional didactic and ludic approaches with which the subject has been treated.
In the section Scenarios, four essays are grouped together which, on this ocassion, have as their axis of reflection the conceptualization of the essay itself. Four looks at the meaning and the sense of the essay as a way of fixing ideas as a manifestation of free thought, as a means to express criticism, as a genre of writing that adapts to a unique writer, or essay writing as a process of self-knowledge.
The Resonances section includes two critiques of recently published books: one addresses the urban development in the city of Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico, highlighting the role of prostitution as a trigger for the urbanization of a border city, and the second -in a compilation of 35 articles-, emphazises the multidisciplinary view of Covid-19 in the context of global governance in the 21st century. Two reviews that encompasses Innovation Projects: one devotes its efforts to the critical decolonial analysis of the practices of the digital Biodiversity Heritage Library (BHL) and proposes a change based on the decolonization of the digital media with which this Library works. In the second, the creation of elaboraHD is reviewed within the framework of the implementation of Digital Humanities that incorporate current technological innovation in the wide field of knowledge that, at the beginning, was not identified with these processes. Finally, within the field of plastic arts, an inspiring review of the pictorial work of an artist whose work is nourished by the political history and the art history of the 20th century.
FIGURAS REVISTA ACADÉMICA DE INVESTIGACIÓN provides free and immediate access to its contents so that research articles, essays and reviews are available, free of charge in order to join the promotion that the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México is giving to the exchange of research content carried out in the country, through Open Access (OA) template, understood as a way of sharing scientific information at no cost or restriction for the user and in which each article, essay or review appears in a unique way.FIGURAS REVISTA ACADÉMICA DE INVESTIGACIÓN marca y construye –mediante un acto de escritura– la acción de transformar, delinear o representar en cada una de sus publicaciones, los hallazgos que los participantes plasman en cada una de las tres secciones contempladas en esta publicación.
En este número, la sección Perspectivas cuenta con cuatro artículos, dos de ellos parten del análisis del fenómeno del racismo. Uno pone el acento sobre los procesos racistas del sistema colonial español en los territorios de América, y el segundo lleva esta reflexión hacia el cuestionamiento de las políticas públicas actuales en materia de educación pública en las comunidades indígenas ralámuli de la Sierra Tarahumara, ubicada en el norte de México. Desde otro campo de conocimiento, los otros dos artículos –ubicados en un contexto, anterior a la modernidad— se enfocan en el contenido semiótico que nos permite acercarnos a las prácticas mortuorias judeoespañolas y el otro nos invita a repensar las adivinanzas de la lírica popular medieval hispánica, más allá de los enfoques didácticos y lúdicos tradicionales con los que se ha tratado el tema.
En la sección Escenas se agrupan cuatro ensayos que, en esta ocasión, tienen como eje de reflexión la conceptualización del ensayo en sí mismo. Cuatro miradas que reparan en el significado y sentido del ensayo como una forma de fijar ideas en tanto una manifestación del pensamiento libre, como medio para plasmar la crítica, como un género de escritura que se adapta a la singularidad de quien escribe, o la escritura ensayística como un proceso de conocimiento propio.
La sección Resonancias incluye dos reseñas críticas sobre libros publicados recientemente: uno aborda el proceso de desarrollo urbano de la ciudad de Mexicali, Baja California, México resaltando el papel de la actividad prostibularia como detonante de la urbanización de una ciudad fronteriza y el segundo, —en una compilación de 35 artículos—, destaca la mirada multidisciplinaria sobre la pandemia de covid-19 en el contexto de la gobernanza mundial en el siglo XXI. Dos reseñas que se ocupan de Proyectos de Innovación: uno dedica sus esfuerzos al análisis crítico decolonial de las prácticas de la biblioteca digital Biodiversity Heritage Library (BHL) y propone un cambio a partir de la descolonización de los medios digitales con los que esta Biblioteca trabaja. En el segundo se reseña la creación de eLaboraHD en el marco de la implementación de las Humanidades Digitales que incorporan las innovaciones tecnológicas actuales a este basto campo de conocimiento que, de inicio no se identificaba con estos procesos. Por último, dentro del campo de las artes plásticas, una reseña inspiradora sobre la obra pictórica de una artista que realiza su obra nutrida de la historia política y la historia del arte del siglo XX.
FIGURAS REVISTA ACADÉMICA DE INVESTIGACIÓN proporciona acceso libre e inmediato a su contenido para hacer disponibles gratuitamente los artículos de investigación, ensayos y reseñas con la finalidad de sumarse al impulso que la Universidad Autónoma de México está dando al intercambio del contenido de las investigaciones que se llevan a cabo en el país, mediante el modelo del Acceso Abierto (OA: Open Access por sus siglas en inglés), entendido como una forma de compartir información científica sin costo o restricción para el usuario y en el que cada Artículo, Ensayo o Reseña figura de manera singular
Reconstruyendo el “Proyecto Teotihuacán” del INAH, 1962-1964 (temporadas IV y V)
Get PDFIn a previous text, we addressed the archaeological seasons I, II and III that the Departament of Prehispanic Monuments of INAH implemented from the beginning of 1960 until September 1962 in the ruins of the ancient Teotihuacan city and that were the antecedent of the Seasons IV and V of the so-called “Teotihuacan Project”, executed between September 1962 and September 1964. The objective of this article is to expose the unpublished information of the "Proyecto Teotihuacan" that was consigned in the technical reports kept at INAH, as well as in the scarce texts that were published to bring to light the documentary sources that provide direct information from the protagonists of the project. All this documentation will give both researchers and the public the opportunity to evaluate -in a better informed way- the actions and contributions made during one of the most emblematic projects in the history of Mexican and Latin American archaeology. It is only in this way that it will be possible to understand the challenges faced by researchers, workers, public servants, and government institutions involved in carrying out these large-scale archaeological explorations and reconstructions. For the first time -more than half a century after the end of this megaproject- this article presents a systematic and complete overview of the information produced by this project. It is of utmost importance to recover this archaeological memory because it adds a better understanding of the narratives that were constructed by specialists in relation to the development of the pre-Hispanic society of Teotihuacan, and about the history of archaeology in this ancient metropolis.En un texto previo, abordamos las temporadas arqueológicas I, II y III que el Departamento de Monumentos Prehispánicos del INAH implementó desde el inicio de 1960 hasta septiembre de 1962 en las ruinas de la antigua urbe teotihuacana y que fueron el antecedente de las Temporadas IV y V del denominado “Proyecto Teotihuacán”, ejecutadas entre septiembre de 1962 y septiembre de 1964. El objetivo de este artículo es exponer la información inédita del “Proyecto Teotihuacán” que quedó consignada en los informes técnicos resguardados en el INAH, así como en los escasos textos que fueron publicados para sacar a la luz las fuentes documentales que aportan información directa de los protagonistas del proyecto. Toda esta documentación dará tanto a los investigadores como al público en general, la oportunidad de valorar –de una manera mejor informada– las acciones y las aportaciones que se hicieron durante uno de los proyectos más emblemáticos de la historia de la arqueología mexicana y latinoamericana. Es sólo de esta manera que se podrán comprender los retos que enfrentaron los investigadores, trabajadores, servidores públicos y las instituciones gubernamentales involucradas en llevar a cabo esas exploraciones y reconstrucciones arqueológicas a gran escala. Por primera vez –a más de medio siglo después del término de este megaproyecto– este artículo presenta una visión de conjunto, sistemática y completa, de la información producida por dicho proyecto. Es de máxima importancia recuperar esta memoria arqueológica porque agrega una mejor comprensión de las narrativas que fueron construidas por los especialistas en relación con el desarrollo de la sociedad prehispánica de Teotihuacan, y sobre la historia de la arqueología en esta antigua metrópoli

La educación indígena en la Sierra Tarahumara como un asunto de muerte: Obstáculos y retos ante una sociedad discriminatoria y desigual
Get PDFThis article endeavors to present the social context in which the schools of the indigenous educational system, among the Ralámuli of the Sierra Tarahumara ravines, find themselves. It seeks to reveal a series of problems faced by both teachers and students, located in a distant, difficult to access and insecure region. The main argument is that the educational system is built upon discrimination and racism. In light of this situation, there is no real interest in building a quality school, and the social context in which both teachers and students find themselves is not taken into account seriously. This causes a series of consequences that not only have to do with professors and pupils difficulty fulfilling their obligations, but also the system itself exposes them to situations where their physical and moral integrity are at risk which could lead to the death not only of a culture and their life project, but also to their own. Este artículo intenta mostrar el contexto social en el que se encuentran las escuelas del sistema educativo indígena entre los ralámuli de las barrancas de la Sierra Tarahumara. Busca revelar toda una serie de problemáticas a las que se enfrentan tanto maestros como alumnos, ubicados en una región lejana, de difícil acceso e insegura. El principal argumento es que el sistema educativo está construido desde la discriminación y el racismo; dada esta situación, no existe un interés serio por crear una escuela de calidad, además de que el contexto social en el que se encuentran tanto maestros como alumnos tampoco se toma con el debido interés. Esto provoca una serie de consecuencias que no sólo tienen que ver con la dificultad que profesores y educandos tienen para ejercer sus obligaciones; sino también que el mismo sistema los expone a situaciones donde su seguridad física e integridad moral corren enormes riesgos que llevan a la muerte no sólo de una cultura y de su proyecto de vida, sino de ellos mismos
Crimen bajo ficción. Análisis de una disputa poética
Get PDFThis article primarily examines the fictionalization of crime, a shared interest by the Argentinean writers Jorge Luis Borges and Ernesto Sabato, but it immediately postulates that while Borges\u27 stories decisively nourished on crime, Sabato’s fiction opposed it. A possible explanation for that must be sought not only in their works themselves, but also aside them; the social distance separating Sabato from Borges. The article concludes by highlighting their shared interests, but above all pointing out their different views over the fictionalization of crime.Este artículo inspecciona primeramente la ficcionalización del crimen, un interés compartido entre los escritores argentinos Jorge Luis Borges y Ernesto Sabato, pero postula en seguida que la de Borges alimentó decisivamente el referente contra el cual se alzó la ficción de Sabato. Una explicación de la poética de Sabato debe buscarse no sólo en los textos mismos, sino afuera de ellos: la distancia social que separa a Sabato de Borges. El artículo concluye señalando los intereses mutuos, pero resalta sobre todo los desacuerdos en torno a la ficcionalización del crimen
