    The objective of this article is to classify the software serious success factors of six sigma execution, as well as the lean six sigma tools methods that it uses in all the phases of the DMAIC structured methodology.A literature survey of six sigma software serious success factor has been realized and also an attempt to connect them with the enablers of Indian software quality management. A literature survey of the lean six sigma tools and methods used to follows and a classify them according to the phase of the DMAIC.This article has to collect a list of 6 software serious factors which were classified according to the five Indian software quality management enablers and the IMF,EMF,ESF,ISF differentiation. A list of various methods utilized in the different phases of sixsigma and the ISO suggestions has also been referred.Finally the classification of software serious success factors and methods of six sigma technology could be a valuable lean six sigma tools for academics and professionals to understand and execute the methodology in the appropriate way

    An Efficient Edge Detection Technique for Hazy Images using DCP

    Images of outdoor areas are typically degraded in quality by its turbid medium in the nature such as haze, fog and smoke. The absorption and scattering of light on such kind of images effects the quality of the image. The degraded images will loss the contrast and color artifacts from the original image. Edge detection is another challenging issue on such kinds of degraded images. There are several research works are under progress to reduce the haze exists in the image. Although haze removal techniques will reduce the haze present in the image, the results of those techniques were dropped the natural look of the original image as penalty. We proposed an effective way of finding the edges from the hazy images. Firstly, a dark channel prior method is used to eliminate the unwanted haze from the original image. The statistics shows that this method effectively works for the images taken in an outdoor hazy environment. The key observation of this method is that at least one color channel is having a minimum intensity value in a local patch. The results shows that results of this method have a good results compared to other contrast improvement techniques. Secondly we have applied the Sobel edge detection operator to find the edges of the resultant image

    In recent years, a lot of illegal counterfeiting rings manufacture and sell fake coins and at the same time fake note currency is printed as well, which have caused great loss and damage to the society. Thus it is imperative to be able to detect fake currency. We propose a new approach to detect fake Indian notes using their images. A currency image is represented in the dissimilarity space, which is a vector space constructed by comparing the image with a set of prototypes. Each dimension measures the dissimilarity between the image under consideration and a prototype. In order to obtain the dissimilarity between two images, the local key points on each image are detected and described. Based on the characteristics of the currency, the matched key points between the two images can be identified in an efficient manner. A post processing procedure is further proposed to remove mismatched key points. Due to the limited number of fake currency in real life, SVM is conducted for fake currency detection, so only genuine currency are needed to train the classifier

    Solar still is a best alternative solution against most of the conventional water distillation system. The multilayer absorber plate type solar still is the more effective technique to enhance the passive solar still productivity. The experiment has been carried out to find out the best thickness of copper conduction path for the multilayer absorber plate type solar still. The results have concluded that the productivity of solar still is reduced with increasing the conduction path thickness and water depth. The maximum productivity of distilled water has been produced in the multilayer absorber type solar still with 0.5cm thick copper conduction path and 1cm water depth

    Power Electronics is defined as branch of science, engineering and technology which deals with Power Electronics Modulators (PEM) in which efficient conversion, conditioning, processing, controlling and modulating the flow of large electric power using Solid State Power Semiconductor Device (SSPSD) in order to supply high quality power to the load which causes minimum pollution of physical characteristics of electric power with regulating stability and response characteristics of the closed loop system and its application. Diode rectified circuit and thyristor rectifiers circuit are widely used in the conventional rectifier circuit, but the problems arising during operating should not be ignored, such as, harmonic problems and low power factor. These problems may do harm to the grid, which in turn cause a series consequences, therefore, the application of such rectifier will be limited. With the continuous development of PWM technology people pay attention to the PWM rectifier gradually. The paper first analyzes the mathematical model of three-phase voltage-source PWM rectifier and then introduces double closed-loop control of voltage and current system, in which the active and reactive power can be controlled independently. PWM rectifier control system is built based on the DSP2812 after modeling and simulating in MATLAB / SIMULINK environment. The result shows that the system has the characteristic of good anti-interference performance and fast dynamic response
