Architecture for Encapsulation of Collection Framework Classes in JAVA for Reducing the Complexity
A Collection Framework classes introduced in the Java core library after the release of JDK version-1.2. Collection framework classes were built up by Joshua Bloch. Although, Collection framework Classes are widely practiced in todays environment to develop Java application. Java application programs suffer from a major problem of complexity and un-scalability. In this paper, the author proposed a design of the framework which encapsulates Java collection framework classes of complex hierarchy into a single class that is based on some certain parameters (e.g. data structure used, uniqueness, synchronization). The proposed framework can greatly lessen the efforts required to learn and use of complex hierarchy of Collection Framework. Further, the proposed framework (Architecture) uses the identical method signature as the original Collection Framework, which makes it easy to understand for those who earlier use Collection Framework for data storage. Thus, the users can easily shift to the new framework
Design of GML Query Language in Spatial Overlay Techniques
As interoperability dose not exists in different geographical databases designed by special programs and applications so data sharing is difficult to use in multiple environment. In this paper we describes the availability of interoperability to arrange the geographical database by using an approach i.e. GML (Geographical markup Language) and the paper describes the polygon overlay which is a geometric operation on two sets of polygon such as union, intersection, difference etc. GML is powerful language and can be utilize for storage, exchange and modeling of geo spatial data
Deep Brain Stimulation : Applications and Challenges
Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) is widely used for the treatment of movement disorder. It is being explored in the new application areas. Since DBS deals with the internal portion of the brain it offers several challenges. It is difficult to understand the exact mechanism of DBS. This therapy is patient dependent and procedures may change drastically from patient to patient. In this paper DBS is discussed and its potential applications are explored. There are many challenges/restrictions while using this technique. Some major challenges are analyzed for better understanding of DBS
Extended 16x16 Play-Fair Algorithm for Secure Key Exchange Using RSA Algorithm
With the world entering in the 21st century rigorous efforts are being made to secure data and flow of information among the users. Though with the advancements are fast and efficient the third party intervention and security threats has also increased many folds. The algorithms being used to encrypt and decrypt data needs to be strong enough to secure the data but also simple enough for a user to handle the process. With this article a novel, practical approach is presented which not only makes the information more secured but also being based on RSA algorithm is easy enough for users to understand and implement into the systems
The Cataclysm of Nurture: Helicopter Parenting
In psychology today, there exist a few evidently recognized parenting styles: authoritative, neglectful, permissive, and authoritarian. But one more, in this league, taking many countries by storm, is Helicopter Parenting. Each type of these parenting styles possess different characteristics and bring about diverse reactions in the children which they are used on. Correspondingly, it is vital to understand that every parent-child relationship is different, so there is not one ideal way to go about parenting. Helicopter parenting, on the other hand, is overcontrolling, overprotecting, and overperfecting, a child in a way that is much more than responsible parenting. This paper will give you an insight of how Helicopter parenting impacts the lives of children and how we can diverge to better parenting styles to raise happier children
A Survey on Cloud Storage Auditing Protocols
As Todays world depends on dynamically updated data, the best way to store and update data is cloud storage service. The common issue for storing data in cloud storage is its security though every individual client holds his/her own secret key the key service has to be supportive and is effective to the customer in different situations, so key redesign of outsourcing is important. The key overhauls can be handled by some authorized inspector known as TPA (Third Party Auditor) to reduce key upgrade burden from customer. It is the responsible of TPA now, to save key upgrades and makes key updates transparent for client. In existing solutions, client has to update key by himself at periodic times which leads to problem for those who need to concentrate on their main role in the market or with the people who have limited resources. This paper encloses a survey on the key exposure problem in cloud storage is formulated where the main goal is that cloud storage settings and key updates are safely outsourced to some third party where TPA can only hold encrypted version of client secret key formalizing security model. Security proof can be analyzed and make sure that design is secure and efficient
Facial Expression Recognition Using Diagonal Crisscross Local Binary Pattern
Facial expression analysis is a noteworthy and challenging problem in the field of Computer Vision, Human-Computer Interaction and Image Analysis. For accomplishing FER, it is very difficult to acquire an effective facial description of the original facial images. The Local Binary Pattern (LBP) which captures facial attributes locally from the images is broadly used for facial expression recognition. But conventional LBP has some limitations. To overcome the limitations, novel approach for Facial Expression Recognition based Diagonal Crisscross Local Binary Pattern (DCLBP). It is based on the idea that pixel variations in diagonal as well as vertical and horizontal (crisscross) should be taken as an image feature in the neighborhood different from the other conventional approaches. The Chi-square distance method is used to classify various expressions. To enhance the recognition rate and reduce the classification time, weighted mask is employed to label the particular components in the face like eyebrow, mouth and eye with larger weights than the other parts of the face. The results of comparison showed the performance of the suggested approach comparing to the other approaches and the experimental results on the databases JAFFE and CK exhibited the better recognition rate
Wireless Printer Fastener using Raspberry Pi
In computing, a printer is a peripheral device which makes a persistent human-readable representation of graphics or text on paper or similar physical media. The wired printer have to be tethered to your computer, you cannot move it anywhere in your home or office, even up or down a floor or two. It does not have the ability to be located farther away from the computer. Technology development helps people to do their work easily and make them comfortable. The idea of Wireless Printer is using handheld device like Mobile phone through Wi-Fi we print the data. The common data printing procedure for wireless printer has to use notebook or desktop computer as a relay medium, first receiving the data from mobile and then sending it to printer using an appropriate printing method. This paper proposes a design of a device which directly prints the data stored inside the Mobile without the assistance of a notebook or desktop computer and can convert a traditional wired printer into a wireless one with minimal requirements. The design compromises Raspberry pi having Noobs as operating system. The configured Wi-Fi dongle accept file from Mobile and gives to Raspberry Pi. The Printer driver is a program to control a printer that is connected to your system. The CUPs installed on Raspberry Pi do the print job
Automatic Soil Detection Using Sensors
Soil fertility is an important factor to measure the quality of the soil as it indicates the extent to which it can support plant life. The fertility of soil is measured by the amount of macro and micronutrients, water, pH etc. The concept of Smart Agriculture is becoming a reality as it evolves from conceptual models for the development of crop at different stages. Previously the agriculture is the cultivation of the plants which is used to sustain and enhance human life. Now the Smart Agriculture has come into the picture globally. Smart Agriculture is nothing but the usage of the resources in a smarter way. Resources include sustainable land usage, fresh water usage, and usage of pesticides and insecticides which increases the crop production and supports the farmers income. Firstly the developed Sensor kit will be checking the Soil type and Soil Quality. Later the different tests are performed on soil such as bulk density test, respiration test, moisture test and it also needs to check the water quality. By considering the results obtained by the above tests the device suggests the crop for the farmer and it also helps him for the maintenance of the crop. To keep the services of Smart Agriculture the IOT plays a key role
