Cultural Identity Loss of the Main Characters in Chinua Achebes Things Fall Apart
Identity and culture are considered to be the relevant aspects of the post-colonial literature for two reasons: First, because they are so central to the growing power of imperial discourse over the nineteenth century, and secondly they remain central and unavoidable facts of the modern society as known as the dominant parts of the social discrimination and prejudice. Africa has a unique cultural heritage with a distinct past. African Literature often makes assumptions about the existence of the unified African culture, but closer inspection reveals a far more complex and a problematic picture. It reflects the cultural traditions, colonial history, and inner conflicts of African people. While drawing together a wide variety of theoretical and critical perspectives of post-colonial literature in English, the present study aims at exploring perpetuate unequal economic and cultural relations with the struggle of the people concerned with race, religion, invasion and pacification in the form of the issues of identity and culture
A Novel Hybrid Classification Model For the Loan Repayment Capability Prediction System
Classification is a powerful tool in Data mining to predict the loan repayment capability of a banking customer. This paper evaluates the performance of various classification algorithms and selects the most appropriate one for predicting the class label of the credit data set as good or bad. Feature selection is a data pre-processing technique refers to the process of identifying the most beneficial features for a given task, while avoiding the noisy, irrelevant and redundant features of the dataset. These irrelevant noisy features results in a poor accuracy for the selected classifier. In order to improve the accuracy of a classifier, the feature selection plays a vital role as a data preprocessing step. Feature selection technique reduces the dimensionality of the feature set of the dataset. This paper has two objectives. First objective is to find out the best classifier algorithm for the credit data set using two different tools such as weka and R. Here the experiment proved that Random Forest performs better for loan repayment credibility prediction system. The second objective is to evaluate the performance of various feature selection methods based on Random Forest classification method. Also a novel hybrid model is developed for the same
Aadhaar Based Authentication for Accessing Vehicle Ignition System
The aim of this paper is to propose a low cost and efficient system to authenticate a vehicle driver by using biometric parameters stored at aadhaar database. This eventually reduces the work load of license authentication by traffic police. The system comprises of a microcontroller, GSM/GPRS module and fingerprint sensor. To implement this system Authentication Service Agency (UIDAI) contract is required. Driving license is a necessary entity to drive a vehicle in India. Because of increasing number of vehicles, it is not possible for RTO officials to check everybodys license. By implementing this kind of systems in vehicles, only licensed persons can turn on vehicle engine. Also it will help to avoid misuse of vehicle

In this era, internet is become crucial part of our day to day life. Hence the security of the internet data is must. Phishing is the threat which is major issue of the web data and its security. Web phishing is well known assaults for acquiring the credential information from the users like security number, bank account number etc. Phishing detection is necessary to overcome this web problem. In this paper we discuss about the different technique of phishing, some classification techniques, and Supported algorithm for the better accuracy. And also give the literature survey of some papers
A Comparison of AODV Routing Protocols to Prevent Black Hole Attack in Manet
Mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is a continuously self-configuring, infrastructure-less network of mobile devices connected wirelessly.Due to limited power supply, physical infrastructure and absence of central base station, malicious nodes can easily disguise themselves among the legitimate nodes. So MANET is vulnerable to many security threats, among which one is the blackhole attack. In this attack, the malicious node misuses the protocols to advertise the shortest path to destination node and drops the data packets subsequently. It deterioates the performance of the network, which is based on many factors including Packet Delivery Ratio and End-to-End Delay. Many effective techniques for detecting the blackhole attack have been devised. Among them are the solutions based on Ad-hoc On demand Distance Vector (AODV) Routing. In this review paper a comparison is done between three such solutions- CBDAODV, MOSAODV and DPRAODV based on two performance criteria mentioned above
Self-Adaptive Multi-Population Jaya Algorithm based Reactive Power Reserve Optimization Considering Voltage Stability Margin Constraints
In this paper an innovative technique is proposed to achieve the optimum value of reactive power reserve accounting voltage stability margin constrains. Reactive power reserve and voltage stability are important issues for proper operation on the power system. This is achieved by suitable settings of reactive power control variables. The fitness function has been minimizes using Self-adaptive multi-population based Jaya Algorithm (SAMP - Jaya). The developed algorithm has been implemented on two IEEE test systems
Role of Thermophilic Enzymes and their Applications in Industry
The exploration of thermophilic and hyperthermophilic microorganisms to utilize their enzymatic system has been done by the research scientist from middle age era. Such examinations are currently a day acing the cloning and mechanical abuse of a wide assortment of qualities encoding chemicals like thermophilic cellulases, amylases, xylanases, polymerases, galactosidases and proteinases etc. A number of thermophilic microorganisms like bacteria, fungi, archaebacteria and actinomycetes known to producing thermophilic enzyme. These enzymes have some structural specificity to show optimum activity in thermophilic environment. Use of thermophilic enzymes is beneficial than using mesophilic enzymes during industrial processes because some of these processes are occur at high temperature. Thermophilic enzymes have wide range of applications in different industries like paper and pulp industry, biofuel industry, textile industry and food industry. To make easy production of these enzymes, genes for thermophilic enzymes have been cloned in mesophilic host. In this text, we review the function of various thermophilic enzymes in different industrial methods from hyperthermophilic and extreme thermophilic microorganisms, the industrial application of thermophilic enzymes are mainly discussed
Study of Adverse Health Effects Due to Mobile Tower Radiation situated in Densely Populated Residential Areas
Use of mobiles is increased tremendously in recent years; therefore to cover these mobile subscribers it is essential to increase the number of base stations. Nowadays these base stations are located in intensely populated areas. People around these base stations will get exposed to electromagnetic field (EMF) exposure which is radiated from base stations. This EMF exposure is called as non-ionizing radiation. Non-ionizing radiation has some adverse health effects. People are not aware of it in India. Power density is measured in nearby areas of mobile tower base stations which are located in densely populated areas. The places selected are Pachgaon, Kandalgaon, Kasba bawada, Tarabai Park, Mahalaxmi Nagar, RK Nagar, and Jarag Nagar in Kolhapur. The EMF exposure is measured in terms of power densities and electric field which were well below the international standard ICNIRP and national standard DoT. A questionnaire was prepared to find the different adverse health effects faced by the people living around the base stations. Different health symptoms of electromagnetic field exposure faced by the people within 20m, 50m and 150m are analyzed. Symptoms such as a headache and sleep disorder, daytime sleepiness, depression and memory changes were found in the study
