    A Study on Perception of Quality of Work Life and Job Satisfaction: Evidence from Rayalaseema Region, Andhra Pradesh, India

    The study of work environments is very important because it may differentiate between high and low performers among banks. However, there is large gap in studies on exploring the quality of work life in Andhra Pradesh. This study aims to explore the level of Quality of Work Life in the bank industry situated in the Rayalaseema region, Andhra Pradesh, India. It also examines the relationships between environmental factors and job satisfaction. The result reveals that the level of Quality of Work Life of the population is elevated. The bulk of employees have adequate confidence regarding their skills, their job characteristics, opportunity to participate in decision making and relationships. However, some of them complained about their wage levels. Further, the study finds a significant relationship between environmental factors and job satisfaction. This study contributes to the understanding of quality of work life and job satisfaction in a significant area in India, that is, among bank’s employees in Rayalaseema region, Andhra Prades

    Analysis of Topic Modeling on Phrase-Based SMT system for English-Hindi Translation

    After availability of cheaper large memory and high performance processors, Statistical Machine Translation (SMT) methods have drawn attention of researchers NLP. Phrase-based SMT has shown better results than word-based SMT. To improve performance of machine translation system further, different systems have been developed which use phrase-based SMT as a baseline system. Domain adaptation is one of most popular example of such systems. In this paper also phrase-based SMT system is used as baseline to apply topic model for English-Hindi translation. This baseline system is also used for result comparison with topic model system. Both systems are trained using MERT. The analysis shows improvement in results obtained by using topic modeling system

    Internet of Things involves the interconnection of physical devices to the internet. The fundamental motivation behind the conception of the Internet of things (IoT) framework lies in the control, regulation and automation of physical parameters which in tandem work against the programs written for its execution to solve a particular problem. This paper aims to automate such a mechanism, which can revolutionize the way in which we handle household plants. Soil moisture, temperature, humidity, sunlight and PH are important parameters for growth in plants. The data collected by the sensors based on the above parameters is used as the information to monitor and control plant growth. Thus the proposed system uses soil moisture sensor and temperature sensor which are interfaced with the NodeMCU microcontroller that will allow us to remotely monitor the plants for the temperature it can withstand and water it when needed. The data collected by the sensors based on the above parameters is used as the information to monitor and control plant growth. The system can be controlled by its user with the help of smart phone using IoT. This paper identifies the problem of humans not being able to render the changes in shade and provide convenience in satisfying timely water requirements and tends to automate it

This study focuses on the combination of two major trends, electric vehicles and vehicle to everything communications technology. On the Controller Area Network communication line of the vehicle, a gateway is physically implemented to transmit and receive the necessary signals of the vehicle wirelessly. Another gateway is located at a certain distance from the vehicle and allows the vehicle to be monitored in real time in driving cycles defined in EU regulations

    Electric Motor Drive System is employed in the various industrial applications such as pumping, air blowing, cooling and compression refrigeration. The motor drive speed control can be achieved by variety of techniques, but an emerging one is Variable Frequency Drive System (VFDS). The motor driven equipment on a typical industrial site accounts for approximately two thirds of the electricity consumption. Now-a-days induction motor is the main work-horse of the industries. So controlling of performance of induction motor is most precisely required in many high performance applications. Scalar control method gives good steady state response but poor dynamic response. While vector control method gives good steady state as well as dynamic response. But it is complicated in structure so to overcome this difficulty, direct torque control introduced.     Improved Performance of Image Steganography Technique using Quantum Scrambling and Pixel‘s Intensity Adjustment

    Steganography is the art for hidden communication. It provides the solution for secrete data communication. Trustworthy steganography techniques should provide the data protection when it is being transferred and fulfill the principles of security. This dissertation proposed a efficient steganography technique based on Quantum Hilbert image Scrambling (QHIS), alpha blending operation, and genetic algorithm based pixel’s least significant bit swapping. Every steganography technique has two processes; encoding and decoding. In the encoding process of proposed steganography technique, initially secrete image is scrambled using QHIS then apply alpha blending (i.e type of mixing) operation on both the scrambled image and cover image, which results stego image. The stego image picture quality can be improved by allying GA based pixel’s adjustment. The strength of proposed steganography technique is shown in experimental results by testing it on different image quality parameters (i.e. Peak Signal to Noise Ratio, Normalized Cross Correlation, Average Difference, Maximum difference, Structural contents)
