    Get PDF
Most of the studies of queuing theory, which are useful in our daily life has been investigated by many researchers. The present research is the study of pre-emptive priority queuing system consisting two serial channels in stochastic environment. The impatient behavior of customer’s will be discussed with exponential service distribution and Poisson arrivals. Higher priority customers have pre-emptive priority over the low priority customers. The G.F. technique is used to derive the performance measures of high & low priority queues and assuming FCFS discipline in busy schedule of higher priority class. Also evaluate queue behavior graphically and discussed a special case at the end which shows utilization of channels

    Get PDF
In today's information age, false news and deceptive language have become pervasive, leading to significant challenges for individuals, organizations, and society as a whole. This study focuses on the application of deep learning and natural language processing (NLP) techniques to uncover semantic inconsistencies and deceptive language in false news, with the aim of facilitating effective management strategies. The research employs advanced deep learning models and NLP algorithms to analyze large volumes of textual data and identify patterns indicative of deceptive language and semantic inconsistencies. By leveraging the power of machine learning, the study aims to enhance the detection and classification of false news articles, enabling proactive management measures. The proposed approach not only examines the superficial aspects of false news but also delves deeper into the linguistic nuances and contextual inconsistencies that are characteristic of deceptive language. By employing advanced NLP techniques, such as sentiment analysis, topic modeling, and named entity recognition, the study strives to identify the underlying manipulative strategies employed by false news purveyors. The findings from this research have far-reaching implications for effective management. By accurately detecting semantic inconsistencies and deceptive language in false news, organizations can develop targeted strategies to mitigate the spread and impact of misinformation. Additionally, individuals can make informed decisions, enhancing their ability to critically evaluate news sources and protect themselves from falling victim to deceptive practices. In this research study, we suggest a hybrid system for detecting fake news that incorporates source analysis and machine learning techniques. Our system analyzes the language used in news articles to identify indicators of fake news and evaluates the credibility of the sources cited in the articles. We trained our system using a large dataset of news articles manually annotated as real or fake and evaluated its performance measured by common metrics like F1-score, recall, and precision. In comparison to other advanced fake news detection systems, our results show that our hybrid method has a high level of accuracy in detecting false news

    Get PDF
In the realm of healthcare, the utilization of clinical decision support systems (CDSSs) has become increasingly prevalent as a means of providing medical professionals with a computer-based tool that grants them access to pertinent data and expertise, thereby aiding in their ability to make informed clinical decisions. The potential applications of a CDSS are numerous, ranging from disease diagnosis and the creation of treatment programs, to patient progress monitoring. A crucial component of a CDSS is its knowledge base, which comprises the data utilized by the system to generate recommendations and provide feedback to healthcare providers. In an effort to enhance the knowledge base of a CDSS for a particular clinical condition, metaheuristic methods such as Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) can be employed to select the most suitable and applicable data. ACO facilitates the identification of the portion of a CDSS's knowledge base that is most likely to result in the optimal clinical decision, from among the vast array of data that it may contain. This study aims to explore the potential benefits of utilizing ACO methods in CDSSs for the betterment of patient care. The paper outlines the design and implementation of an ACO-based CDSS, which can offer tailored treatment plans for patients based on their medical histories and current condition

Planning for autonomous vehicles is a challenging process that involves navigating through dynamic and unpredictable surroundings while making judgments in real-time. Traditional planning methods sometimes rely on predetermined rules or customized heuristics, which could not generalize well to various driving conditions. In this article, we provide a unique framework to enhance autonomous vehicle planning by fusing conventional RL methods with cutting-edge reinforcement learning techniques. To handle many elements of planning issues, our system integrates cutting-edge algorithms including deep reinforcement learning, hierarchical reinforcement learning, and meta-learning. Our framework helps autonomous vehicles make decisions that are more reliable and effective by utilizing the advantages of these cutting-edge strategies. With the use of the RLTT technique, an autonomous vehicle can learn about the intentions and preferences of human drivers by inferring the underlying reward function from expert behaviour that has been seen. The autonomous car can make safer and more human-like decisions by learning from expert demonstrations about the fundamental goals and limitations of driving. Large-scale simulations and practical experiments can be carried out to gauge the effectiveness of the suggested approach. On the basis of parameters like safety, effectiveness, and human likeness, the autonomous vehicle planning system's performance can be assessed. The outcomes of these assessments can help to inform future developments and offer insightful information about the strengths and weaknesses of the strategy

Expressivity of Tweets on Social Issues Using Aspect Based Text Classification

    Get PDF
Social discussions about crime on Twitter and open forums aims to understand the barriers that hinder people from expressing their concerns or aligning with popular opinions. A curated dataset spanning three months in 2023 was collected, covering categories like crimes and Gender Equality and Violence Against Women. The study employs aspect-based sentiment analysis to classify sentiment polarity in tweets, utilising a comprehensive framework involving three text feature classification stages. The initial stage analyses individual words, phrases, and tweet patterns to classify text features based on specific linguistic elements. In the subsequent step, semantic relations explore a better understanding of the core sentiment and infer relationships between different text keywords. This stage enhances the analysis by considering the meaning and contextual nuances of the language used in the tweets. The final stage incorporates transformer-based models for effective multilabel classification to view the diversity present in the dataset. The study's quantitative analysis reveals that the Ensemble learning approach demonstrates an impressive precision measure of 93%. By integrating the three stages of text feature classification, the study enhances the accuracy and comprehensiveness of sentiment analysis in social discussions about crime on Twitter

MBFRDH: Design of a Multimodal Bioinspired Feature Representation Deep Learning Model for Identification of Heart-Diseases

    Get PDF
Electrocardiograms (ECGs) are generated by checking different beating patterns of heart, and are widely used for identification of multiple heart-related issues. Existing deep learning models that are proposed for ECG analysis are either highly complex, or showcase lower scalability when applied to clinical scans. To overcome these issues, this text proposes design of a novel multimodal bioinspired feature representation deep learning model for identification of heart-diseases. The proposed model initially collects large-scale ECG datasets, and extracts Fourier, Cosine, iVector, Gabor, and Wavelet components. These components are given to a Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO) based feature selection model, which assists in identification of high-inter-class variance feature sets. This is done via modelling a variance-based fitness function and fusing it with an Iterative Learning Model (ILM) that use feedback-accuracy levels for optimization of selected feature sets. The extracted features are used to incrementally train a custom 1D Binary-Augmented Convolutional Neural Network (1D BACNN) that can be trained for multiclass scenarios. The BACNN Model is trained individually for each of the heart diseases. Each BACNN categorizes input ECG samples between ‘Normal’, and ‘Heart-Disease’ categories. Due to use of this binary-type classification, the proposed model is able to achieve a consistent 99.9% accuracy for multiple heart disease sets, which is found to be higher than most of the existing multiclass techniques. The model was tested for Angina, Arrhythmia, Valve disease, and Congenital heart conditions, and was observed to achieve 3.5% higher precision, 4.9% higher accuracy, with 1.2% increase is computational delay, which makes it highly suitable for real-time clinical use cases
