Analysis Of Fe, Ni, Li Trace Metal Concentration In An Edible Indian Squid Loligo Duvacelii Collected From Chennai.
The current study attempted to assess the amount of key trace element (Fe, Ni, Li) found in squid Loligo duvacelii purchased from Ennore and Royapuram, the two most prominent markets on the Chennai coast. Lithium, nickel, and iron, was determined using the ICP- OES. Metal concentrations fluctuated in the study area, which might be attributed to a variety of environmental conditions. The research findings contribute to the development of a dataset of seafood quality in this region and give a scientific foundation for management planning for improved protection and sustainable development of aquaculture in the study are
Physicochemical Investigation to Probe the Recovery and Controlling Management of Gout Pain in Human Body through Accumulation of Vitamin B6 Molecule
Pyridoxal phosphate (PLP), the active form of vitamin B6, is a coenzyme in a variety of enzymatic reactions. The High blood concentrations of uric acid crystals can lead to gout and are associated with other medical conditions including diabetes and the formation of ammonium acid urate kidney stones. Therefore these PLP and uric acid’s ion-solvent interactions in aqueous system can lead to the dissolution of the excess uric acid from the body, which brings about the novelty in this paper. In order to proof the interactions and removal of excess uric acid from the body we have studied its Density, Viscosity, Refractive index, Conductance, UV-Vis, IR, 1H-NMR at three diverse temperatures. It was observed that the ion-solvent interactions dominated rather than the ion-ion interactions. Notwithstanding these differences, both jurisdictions agree that biologics require particular handling due to their unique qualities, such as their complicated structures and vulnerability to change during manufacturing. Assessment Of The Anti-Diabetic Activicty Of Schefflera Stellata Leaves Ethanolic Extract On Streptozotocin-Induced Diabetes In Wistar Rats
Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder characterized by elevated blood glucose levels, affecting millions of people worldwide. This study aimed to evaluate the potential anti-diabetic activity of Schefflera stellata leaves ethanolic extract in a streptozotocin (STZ)-induced diabetic Wistar rat model. Wistar rats were induced with diabetes using STZ and subsequently treated with Schefflera stellata leaves ethanolic extract. Various biochemical parameters such as fasting blood glucose levels, serum insulin levels, lipid profile, and antioxidant enzyme activities were assessed. Additionally, histopathological examination of pancreatic tissues was performed to evaluate the impact of the extract on structural alterations. The results revealed a significant reduction in fasting blood glucose levels in rats treated with Schefflera stellata extract compared to the untreated diabetic group. Moreover, the extract exhibited a positive influence on serum insulin levels, lipid profile, and antioxidant enzyme activities, suggesting its potential in ameliorating diabetes-induced metabolic dysregulation. Histopathological analysis of pancreatic tissues indicated a preservation of islet architecture in the extract-treated group, highlighting the protective effects of Schefflera stellata against STZ-induced pancreatic damage
Bioanalytical Method Development & Validation Of Propafenone In Rabbit Plasma By RP-UPLC Using Vildagliptin As Internal Standard
A simple, Accurate, precise method was developed for the estimation of Propafenone in Rabbit plasma was developed and validated. By using Centrifugation technique, the sample preparation was prepared. Chromatogram was run through Std ACQUITY UPLC HSS C18 Column, 1.8 µm, 2.1 mm X 100 mm, Mobile phase containing Buffer DiSodium Hydrogen Phosphate: Acetonitrile taken in the ratio 70:30 was pumped through column at a flow rate of 0.3ml/min. Buffer used Na2HPO4.in this method was buffer. For the separation of Propafenone Internal Standard [IS] used is Vildagliptin. The Temperature was maintained at 30°C. Optimized wavelength selected was 248nm. Retention time of Propafenone and Internal Standard were found to be 1.273 min and 0.972 min. The standard curve was linear (R2 >0.995) over the concentration range of 15-600 ng/ml. All the analytical validation parameters were determined as per ICH guidelines the bioanalytical method developed approach was selective, robust, and reliable, as accuracy, precision, recovery, and other validation parameters were all within the recommendations\u27 limitations. The peaks produced for the drug of interest and the internal standard were well separated from one another without any plasma interferences, and the peaks were symmetrical with an adequate tailing factor
Examining The Relationship Between Gut Microbiota And Sports Performance: A Narrative Review
The microorganisms inhabiting the gastrointestinal tract play a crucial role in human health, influencing nutrient absorption, vitamin synthesis, energy extraction, inflammatory regulation, and the host\u27s immune response. Various factors, such as age, delivery method at birth, antibiotic usage, and dietary choices, are recognized as formative elements shaping the gut microbiota. However, the impact of exercise, including associated factors like sport-specific diet, environmental conditions, and their interactions on the gut microbiota, remains less explored. High-level athletes exhibit distinctive physiology and metabolism, offering valuable insights into gut microbiota research due to their exceptional muscular strength, aerobic capacity, energy expenditure, and heat production. Given the gut microbiota\u27s ability to influence energy utilization, immune modulation, and gastrointestinal health, it likely plays a pivotal role in athlete health, well-being, and sports performance. This understanding is particularly significant for athletes aiming to enhance competition results and expedite recovery during training. Moreover, the research extends beyond athletics, with implications for overall health and wellness in broader communities. Therefore, this narrative review aims to summarize existing knowledge on the gut microbiota in athletes and the factors influencing it, acknowledging the challenges associated with disentangling its effects from lifestyle and dietary habits.
 
A Study on the Effectiveness of Mono and Dual Antiplatelet Therapy in Secondary Prevention of Vascular Events
The aim of the study was to determine whether addition of aspirin to clopidogrel could have a greater benefit than clopidogrel alone in the prevention of secondary vascular events in patients after TIA or ischemic stroke. Out of the total patients, 34.2 % of patients had recurrence of vascular events. 36.3 % patients reached the primary endpoint in the group receiving dual therapy compared to 20% in the monotherapy group. 31% in dual therapy group had Ischemic stroke as qualifying event compared to 5 % in monotherapy. Our study focused on the prevalence of risk factors in patients with recurrence of vascular events. Risk factors found were previous ischemic stroke in 12 % of dual therapy group and 1% in mono group. Hypertension was found in 30 % of dual group and 3 % of mono group. Diabetes was risk factor in 16% of dual therapy patients and 4% in mono group Hypercholesterolemia was found in 19% of dual group and 4 % of mono group11% of dual therapy patients and 2 % of mono therapy patients were smokers. The primary events were found to have a significant association with gender, risk factors and therapy. No bleeding complications were observed in the study population

An Investigation on Leprosy Treatment Patterns, including Disease Prevalence, Adverse Event Monitoring, and Medication Adherence Assessment
A prospective observational study was carried out for six months among the leprosy patients in two districts in Telanagana (Ranga Reddy and Hyderabad).The study was carried out to determine the prevalence, treatment pattern and drug related problems among the leprosy patients. During our study period 40 cases were reported from Hyderabad district and 64 from Ranga Reddy. So the prevalence of leprosy in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy district was found to be 0.001 and 0.002 respectively. In the current study among among a total of 104 patients included, 49 (47%) were in the age group of 31-50 years. The mean age was 42.13±18.61 years. Nearly 6% of the patients were aged less than 15 showing the transmission is still going on the community. This high prevalence in younger age group calls for more vigorous means of case detection like active search for cases especially in communities known to be leprosy endemic.104 patients were enrolled in the study, of them 74(71%) were males and 30(29%) were females, demonstrating male predominance over female population. There are three important principles for leprosy work in the future. It includes;Sustainability (new cases of leprosy are continuing and many of the consequences are lifelong so our approaches need to be sustainable) , the leprosy workers cannot do everything themselves(they need to work in alliances at all levels with other agencies, other health care workers, social services, communities, patients themselves and their families),Anti-leprosy services need to be integrated with general health and social services(this includes training, primary health care, hospital care, and community based rehabilitation) Finally we would like to emphasize the importance of a proper health education, daily ulcer care and shoe adjustments as systemic therapy and also to prevent the development of new ulcer
