Estimation of aerobic and anaerobic energy contribution to 400m sprint on a treadmill
P(論文)The aim of this study was to assess the relative contribution of aerobic and anaerobic energy supplies during a 400 m sprint on a motorised treadmill. Eight college-level sprinters completed the sprint, which required them to run at varying speeds every 5 seconds, simulating a real race with a fixed running time of 55 seconds. The accumulated oxygen deficit method was used to determine the relative contribution of aerobic and anaerobic energy supplies. The estimated contributions of aerobic and anaerobic energy systems during the 400 m treadmill sprint were 47.3% ± 3.9% and 52.7% ± 3.9%, respectively. The peak value of the anaerobic energy supply during the 55 second sprint was 79.4±6.7% at 10 seconds. It then gradually decreased to 20.6 ±8.1% at the end of the sprint. In contrast, the aerobic energy supply shows the opposite trend to the anaerobic energy supply, with a minimum value of 20.6 ± 6.7% at 10 s after the start of the sprint, gradually increasing to a peak value of 70.8 ± 8.1% at the end of the sprint. These results suggest that the two energy supplies responded differently to the energy demands of the sprint, with the anaerobic system dominating in the early stages of the 400m sprint and the aerobic system becoming increasingly important towards the end of the sprint.departmental bulletin pape
