Rambu Tuka\u27: Making Ready-to-Wear Clothes Inspired by Traditional Thanksgiving Ceremonies in Toraja Land

    Get PDF
Rambu Tuka\u27 has the meaning Kameloan which means joy or happiness. For example, wedding ceremonies, tongkongan houses, and harvests. The process of the Rambu Tuka\u27 event carried out by the Toraja community is followed by the Ma\u27letton ritual or what is known as the slaughtering of pigs, buffalo and chickens, then distributed to the community. Furthermore, the Pa\u27gellu Dance became a form of dance performed by the Toraja people during the Rambu Tuka\u27 event. This ceremony is also carried out by the Toraja people as a form of gratitude to God for the gifts given. The uniqueness of the Rambu Tuka event then became a source of inspiration for the author in creating fashion works consisting of one ready-to-wear outfit. Clothing creation uses the Double Diamond Model process or double diamond model which consists of four creative processes, namely: (1) Discovery phase, (2) Define phase, (3) Development phase, (4) deliver. It is hoped that the results of this clothing creation will make people more familiar with the diversity of Indonesian culture, especially the uniqueness of the Rambu Tuka\u27 ceremony

The Art of Baksa Dance: Tradition and Education in Trusmi Village

    Get PDF
The researcher conducted research at Sanggar Gending Nada Bersemi on how Baksa dance is learned and its relevance for studio members in the preservation of Baksa dance at the Memayu ceremony in Trusmi Village, Plered District, Cirebon Regency. This research uses qualitative methods. The data collection procedures used in this research are observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The steps for the selection process of the first baksa dance is the announcement of the traditional memayu ceremony of Trusmi village. The second step is the announcement of the selection of Baksa dancers, the third step is the first training to learn the basic movements of Baksa dance, then the trainer will select all dancers by assessing how the wiraganya is the accuracy of movement or the arrangement of movements when dancing Baksa dance. if the Baksa dancer selection participants are more than 40 people then in the first week elimination is carried out. the process of selecting Baksa dance dancers is carried out 14 days before the memayu traditional ceremony. Selection is carried out from the screening stage, selecting from basic movements, positioning, to performing pilgrimage activities. In learning Baksa dance, demonstration and contextual learning methods are used. Because baksa dance is a traditional ceremonial dance, the demonstration method is the most appropriate method because each movement has provisions and cannot be changed

IT-Bedrohungslage in Bezug auf industrielle Steuerungssysteme und kritische Infrastrukturen

    No full text
Datei-Upload durch TIBGRS continuously screens and analyses the cyber threat landscape, focusing on industrial control systems and critical infrastructures. Special attention is paid to cyberattacks targeting the nuclear or energy sector. Additionally, this summary report for 2023 comprises seven main topics including cyber attacks connected to the war in Ukraine and geopolitically motivated cyberattacks in other parts of the world. Other main topics cover software free cyberattacks, social engineering, ransomware attacks and supply chain attacks. Emphasis is also placed on ICS vulnerabilities as attack vector. Moreover, this report includes an overview concerning relevant advanced persistent threat activities. The appendices summarize relevant vulnerabilities, cyber-attack tools, incidents and cyberattacks. As living appendices, they cover a much longer period than 2023 alone

Emergence of vortex state in the S=1 Kitaev-Heisenberg model with single-ion anisotropy

The search for Kitaev spin liquid states has recently broadened to include a number of honeycomb materials with integer spin moments. The qualitative difference with their spin-1/2 counterparts is the presence of single-ion anisotropy (SIA). This motivates our investigation of the effects of SIA on the ground state of the spin-1 Kitaev-Heisenberg (KH) model using the density-matrix renormalization group which allows construction of detailed phase diagrams around the Kitaev points. We demonstrate that positive out-of-plane SIA induces an in-plane vortex state without the need for off-diagonal interactions. Conversely, negative SIA facilitates the emergence of a ferromagnetic state in the presence of antiferromagnetic Heisenberg interactions, whereas a Néel state can emerge for ferromagnetic Heisenberg coupling. These findings, pertinent even for weak SIA, not only enhance our theoretical understanding of the spin-1 KH model but also suggest experimental prospects for observing these novel magnetic states in material realizations
