    The Role of Gunawan Setiawan\u27s Batik Industry in the Education Process and Maintaining Batik Cultural Symbols in the Community

    Batik is one of the handicrafts that has high artistic value which has been passed down from generation to generation by the ancestors of the Indonesian nation since the Majapahit Kingdom and continues to be preserved today. However, we have discovered the reality that currently there are still many people who do not fully understand the meaning or philosophy behind batik motifs. Through this, it is necessary to have an educational process for the community, one of which can be carried out by the batik industry. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview regarding how the educational process carried out by Kampung Batik Kauman, especially Batik Gunawan Setiawan, is to provide a comprehensive understanding of batik to the public. This research was conducted in Surakarta, namely in Kauman Batik Village, precisely in Gunawan Setiawan Batik. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The results showed that there were several educational processes carried out by Batik Gunawan Setiawan, such as creating a batik gallery, conducting batik exhibitions and holding batik training. Furthermore, the process of batik education in the community is analyzed using Structural-Functional Theory - Radcliffe Brown as a countermeasure to tensions. As he stated that culture is not to satisfy individuals but to fulfill the social structure of society and emerge to overcome tensions such as theft of cultural identity due to the lack of public concern regarding local culture

    The problem of this research is how Senam Bedincak can be an alternative recreational sport for the people of Bangka Belitung. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the choreographic and musical structure of Bedincak Gymnastics in Bedindak Gymnastics so that it becomes an alternative recreational sport for the people of Bangka Belitung. The method used is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. Bedincak Gymnastics is a community sport that adopts traditional Bangka Belitung dance movements such as Kedidi Dance, Dincak Dambus Dance and Measles Dance. The purpose of Bedincak Gymnastics is to improve the overall health and fitness of the community as well as to introduce and preserve Bangka Belitung culture to the community.     Local Wisdom as the Basis of Visual Identity in Handwritten Batik from Sendang Pengilon Salatiga

    Handwritten Batik from Sendang Pengilon is an enterprise managed by women in Pengilon Village, Salatiga. During the COVID-19 pandemic, this batik enterprise experienced setbacks in terms of sales, leading to a halt in production. After the COVID-19 pandemic ends, the batik business will resume operations with a new visual branding. The objective of this research is to identify various local assets of Pengilon Village that can be processed into the foundation for creating a visual identity. Utilizing local wisdom as the basis for creating a visual identity can provide uniqueness and differentiate Handwritten Batik from Sendang Pengilon among its competitors. A qualitative approach with data analysis using SWOT was employed in this research. The natural resources that constitute the richness of Salatiga, such as the Rejasa flower as a flora of Salatiga and the legendary story of Sendang Pengilon as one of Salatiga\u27s local wisdom, serve as the basis for designing the identity of Batik Sendang Pengilon. This research resulted in a visual identity including a logo, typography, color variations, supergraphics, guidelines for consistent use of visual identity, and examples of visual identity application in various media. The outcomes of this research have been accepted and utilized by Batik Sendang Pengilon. Further development of the visual identity research for Batik Sendang Pengilon can be implemented across various media such as packaging and promotional materials. It is hoped that research on the visual identity of Batik Sendang Pengilon will continue to evolve and provide greater benefits for the specific development of the Batik Sendang Pengilon business and the economic empowerment of the Salatiga community in general

    Transformation of Female Masculinity in Bala Anjani Dance to Webtoon Comics as Gender Education Media

    Bala Anjani Dance contains a message of gender equality, emphasizing that women and men have equal positions. This social message aims to eliminate gender discrimination and destroy negative stereotypes against women. However, the limitations of traditional art media limit the reach of this message. This study aims to transform masculinity in the choreography of the Bala Anjani Dance, which is full of social values, into a digital comic media based on the Webtoon platform to reach the wider community, especially the younger generation. The research method uses a qualitative-descriptive approach to analyze the art of the Bala Anjani Dance and a design approach to produce comic products. The media transfer process includes several stages: (1) ecranization to transfer the moral message of gender equality into a comic story; (2) reduction, namely simplifying the original story to make it more interesting; (3) additions and variations to the story, setting, and characterization; (4) product testing on 30 students; and (5) implementation, namely the creation of a digital comic to be published on Webtoon. The results of the study produced the character and story of the comic "Bala Anjani" which raises the value of gender equality. Based on the test, 100% of respondents considered the character illustrations attractive, 87% stated that the color composition was harmonious, and 84% considered the storyline easy to understand. All respondents agreed that the story conveys a moral message of gender equality. The final product in the form of comic panels is ready to be published on Webtoon. This study shows that the transformation of traditional art into digital media is effective in conveying social messages to a wider audience. This approach has the potential to be a model for media transfer for other traditional arts to support education and gender equality campaigns

    Im Rahmen des Vorhabens LogIKTram wurde basierend auf der bestehenden Straßenbahn- und Eisenbahninfrastruktur des „Karlsruher Modells“ ein neuartiges Logistik- und Lieferkonzept für einen zukünftigen Gütertransport in Straßenbahn- und Stadtbahnwagen ausgearbeitet. Dieses neue Konzept stellt eine Lösung dar, mit deren Hilfe der öffentliche Raum trotz steigender Nachfrage im Wirtschaftsverkehr mithilfe des Verkehrsträgers Schiene, speziell mithilfe von Straßen-/Stadtbahnwagen, nachhaltig entlastet werden kann. Die Erarbeitung des Konzepts sowie die prototypische Umsetzung und Demonstration kritischer Elemente erfolgte in insgesamt fünf technisch-inhaltlichen Arbeitspakten: 1 - Logistik- und Betreiberkonzept: Ein auf den Anforderungen der Logistikkunden aufbauendes Logistik- und Betreiberkonzept ermöglicht eine wettbewerbsfähige Gütertram und kann mittelbar den öffentlichen, städtischen wie regionalen Raum trotz steigender Nachfrage im Wirtschaftsverkehr nachhaltig entlasten. Dabei wurden Anforderungen aus der Verkehrssteuerung und aus Planungs- und Steuerungssicht der Unternehmen berücksichtigt. 2 - Anforderungen an IKT und an die technische Infrastruktur: Zur Buchung eines Transportauftrages durch den Logistikkunden, zur Steuerung des Transportes der Sendungen, zur Kommunikation der beteiligten Unternehmen und zur Abrechnung der Dienstleistungen wurde eine IKT-Plattform erarbeitet. Die Anforderungen an diese Plattform wurden basierend auf Anwendungsfällen des Logistik- und Betreiberkonzepts erhoben. Ebenso wurden Anforderungen an die technische Umsetzung (Anforderungen an IT-Schnittstellen, Fahrzeuge, Fahrweg, Lade- und Umschlagtechnik) und verfügbare Technologien für Umschlag und Transport erarbeitet. Dabei wurden Aspekte des diskriminierungsfreien Zugangs zur Eisenbahninfrastruktur beachtet. 3 - IKT-Plattform: Die IKT-Anforderungen aus dem Logistik- und Betreiberkonzept sowie die technischen Anforderungen wurden zusammen in das Design einer IKT-Plattform überführt, welche die Evaluierung des Konzepts inklusive der Planung und Steuerung auf Seiten der beteiligten Unternehmen unterstützt. Die wesentlichen Komponenten der Plattform wurden prototypisch implementiert und demonstriert. Ein digitaler Zwilling der Gütertram, der Verkehrsabläufe sowie der logistischen Abläufe an den Be-, Entlade- und Umladepunkten der Gütertram abbildet, wurde aufgebaut. Der digitale Zwilling diente einerseits der Konzeptüberprüfung in der Konzeptionsphase und andererseits zur Optimierung des Betriebs in einer späteren Einsatzphase. 4 - Ladungsträger-, Umschlag- und Fahrzeugsystem: Vorbereitend für die Überführung des Konzepts in die praktische Anwendung wurde ein Fahrzeugsystem entworfen, das die reibungslose technische Integration des Gütertransports in das bestehende Netz für den schienengebundenen ÖPNV ermöglicht („Gütertram“). Dazu gehören ein Ladungsträgerkonzept und die Fahrzeugplattform mit Be- und Entladetechnik sowie die Kopplungstechnik für die Zusammenführung mit dem Personenverkehr. Kritische Elemente der Konzepte wurden in Prototypen oder simulativ überprüft und demonstriert. Berücksichtigt wurden dabei auch Anforderungen, die sich aus dem automatisierten oder teilautomatisierten Be- und Entladen ergeben. 5 - Wirkungsforschung und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit: Für die langfristige innerstädtische und regionale Verkehrsplanung sowie als verkehrsplanerische Vorbereitung der Umsetzung der Logistikkonzepte wurde die Wirkung des Gütertransports auf das Schienennetz und das Straßennetz ermittelt. Dazu wurden Verkehrsnachfragemodelle eingesetzt, die sowohl den Lieferverkehr als auch den Personenverkehr und deren Wechselwirkungen in der Untersuchungsregion abdecken. In verschiedenen Szenarien wurden damit die Wirkungen verschiedener Lösungen analysiert. Die Öffentlichkeit ist zu einem frühen Zeitpunkt über Vorteile und Konsequenzen der Konzepte informiert worden. Dadurch konnten im konstruktiven Dialog Vorbehalte erfasst und gegebenenfalls ausgeräumt oder in den Konzepten berücksichtigt werden. Während der Projektdauer fanden zahlreiche Informationsaktivitäten statt, um den Technologie- und Wissenstransfer vor Ort und auch in andere Regionen sicherzustellen und die Öffentlichkeit fortwährend einzubinden. Datei-Upload durch TIBAs a result of the LogIKTram project, a new logistics and delivery concept for future freight transportation in light rail vehicles was developed based on the existing light rail and streetcar infrastructure of the “Karlsruhe Model”. This new concept represents a solution with the help of which the public space can be sustainably relieved despite increasing demand in commercial transport with the help of the rail mode of transport, especially with the help of tram/light rail vehicles. The development of the concept as well as the prototypical implementation and demonstration of critical elements was carried out in a total of five technical and content-related work packages: 1 - Logistics and operator concept: A logistics and operator concept based on the requirements of logistics customers enables competitive freight transport and can indirectly relieve the burden on public, urban and regional areas in the long term despite increasing demand in commercial transport. Requirements from traffic management and from the planning and control perspective of companies were taken into account. 2 - ICT and technical infrastructure requirements: An ICT platform was developed for the booking of a transport order by the logistics customer, for controlling the transport of the consignments, for communication between the companies involved and for invoicing the services. The requirements for this platform were determined based on the use cases of the logistics and operator concept. Requirements for the technical implementation (requirements for IT interfaces, vehicles, routes, loading and handling technology) and available technologies for handling and transport were also developed. Aspects of non-discriminatory access to the railway infrastructure were taken into account. 3 - ICT platform: The ICT requirements from the logistics and operator concept as well as the technical requirements were transferred together into the design of an ICT platform, which supports the evaluation of the concept including planning and control on the part of the participating companies. The key components of the platform were implemented and demonstrated as prototypes. A digital twin of the freight train, which maps the traffic flows and logistical processes at the loading, unloading and reloading points of the freight train, was created. The digital twin was used on the one hand to check the concept in the design phase and on the other hand to optimise operations in a later operational phase. 4 - Load carrier, handling and vehicle system: In preparation for the transfer of the concept into practical application, a vehicle system was designed that enables the smooth technical integration of freight transport into the existing network for rail-bound public transport (‘freight tram’). This includes a load carrier concept and the vehicle platform with loading and unloading technology as well as the coupling technology for merging with passenger transport. Critical elements of the concepts were tested and demonstrated in prototypes or simulations. Requirements resulting from automated or semi-automated loading and unloading were also taken into account. 5 - Impact research and public relations work: The impact of freight transport on the rail and road network was determined for long-term inner-city and regional transport planning and as transport planning preparation for the implementation of the logistics concepts. To this end, transport demand models were used that cover both delivery traffic and passenger transport and their interactions in the region under investigation. The effects of different solutions were analysed in various scenarios. The public was informed about the advantages and consequences of the concepts at an early stage. This enabled reservations to be recorded in a constructive dialogue and, if necessary, dispelled or taken into account in the concepts. Numerous information activities took place during the project to ensure the transfer of technology and knowledge both locally and to other regions and to involve the public on an ongoing basis
