He was a combat artist,great humorist, illustrious novelist and notable memoirist. He has great courage of smiling at the miseries of life; as he does in "salute" & "Hama Yaran dozakh". His wit, satire, allegorical and symbolic style differs him from the other Humorist writers.     Urdu language and literature have a rich and a colorful tradition in the Sub Continent. Urdu language has its origins in the inter mingling of Muslims conquerors from the North and North West who occupied the India and local population which spoke different "Bhashaas". It was and has been a language of communication between different groups of people whose mother tongue was a different language. With the Pakistan Movement Urdu became a language of this movement and became synonymous with Muslim nationality. So after independence Urdu was banished from the areas of its birth. In Pakistan Urdu was declared a national language but has not been adopted as an official language of means of instructions so during the 20th century its existence has a big question mark.     This article carries history of Seerah writing Arabs, others and enlights upon works in verse and prose in Punjabi language.In Punjabi it began in the 17th century.Barkhurdar Ranjha and Maulvi Abdullah Lahori's 'Bara Anwa'include Seerah topics. 'Siraj-e-Mohammadi', 'Sabz Gunbad day Nazaray', 'Jhok Madinay Walay Sultan di' and 'Fazail-e-Mustafa'etc are considered as the complete books on Seerah in Punjabi. Shalok, Ghazal, Kafi, Qasida, Gulzar, Satwara and Bara Mah also are the form to express seerah topics. In prose Seerah writing starts from 1928 with the book 'Hazrat Muhammad Sahib da Pavitr Jiwan' and it comes up to 'Khair-ul-Bashar' of Abd-us-Shakoor Ansari. This topic is evelasting
