No full textDr. Allama M. Iqbal made a tremendous effort for the renaissance of religious thoughts of Muslims. He was worried about the decreasing and fading religious as well as moral values of Muslims. The reason behind was that not only in India but also all over the world, Muslims were being affected by the teaching, interpretations and industrial revolutions of the West. Therefore, to give them the new and better interpretation of Islam, he delivered his seven sermons which were later on printed under the title of "The Reconstruction of Religious Thought in Islam". This article throws light over sermons and also focuses on the explanatory studies of the first sermon "Knowledge and Religious Experience" through comparative analysis

His Book "Gulistan-e-Saadi"is a master piece in Persian prose and poetry that brought about a revolution in the chapter of morality. The narrating style of Gulistan-e-Saadi is as such that a reader does not feel any bordeom, dullness or weariness. The book consists of 8 chapters; easy and simple diction is used; the freshness and civility of metaphors and similes have made Gulistan adorable. Gulistan was translated in many other languages. The translation of Gulistan is found in every local and national language. It is not easy to speculate in how many languages it has been translated. No other book seems to be a parallel of Gulistan-e-Saadi
