    In Majeed Amjad's poetry, we find different subjects. He kept himself away from literary circles and groups of big cities. He loved his loneliness and created a beautiful poetry after a long endeavour. There is a special strength and balance in his poetry which is due to his deep observation and experience. Majeed Amjad is a modern poet but he maintained the standard of poetry due to his deep observation of study the universe, vast of international poets and deep love for urdu, persian, arabic and other languages. He was not only the poet of poem, but he also took interest in ghazal and created about sixty one match ghazals. Dr. Khawaja M. Zakaria compiled the complete work of said great poet.     Nostalgia is Psychiatric propensity that is associated to yearning for the past. For the first time, Johannes Hofer (1669-1752) introduced this word Nostalgia for home sickness especially for "Swiss homesickness". In Urdu literature, echoes of nostalgia is more prominent in fiction mainly in novel-writing like 'Aisi Bulandi Aisi Pasti' by Aziz Ahmad , Aag ka Darya' by Qurat-ul-Ain Haider, 'Angan' by Khadija Mastoor ,and 'Raja Gidh' by Bano Qudsia. During ninteenth century particularly in reference to 'Independence Movement', there is another seasoning of excessive sentimental yearning of past. To face quite different environment after separation develops distinctive feature of nostaligia in urdu literature. Intizar Hussain is widely recognised as a leading literary figure in Urdu, chiefly his three novel 'Basti,(1980), 'Tazkira' (1987). Aage Samandar Ha' (1995). Basti, recived global prize. Nostalgic feelings are more vived in Basti that apparently presents the separation of East Pakistan but it sheds light on tragic circumstances and its miserable results.     "This article describes the poetic diction of a renowned poet Majeed Amjad with a critical reference of his remarkable poem "Afsanay". In the above mentioned poem he presents some traditional, historical and romantic characters and tales, wishing to be one of them so that his love tale may also become immortal. His utilization of fascinating similes, striking metaphors and fabrication of appropriate superb words reflect poet's inner feelings, passions and keen observation in a quite masterly way as compared with his predecessor's poetic diction.     This article introduces the literary work of Honorary Captain Abdullah Khan. He was born in a village "Basal" district Attock. After getting his primary education he joined Pakistan army. He served in a various unites of the army all over the country. Not only he prarticipated in the Wars of 1965 and 1971, but also represented Pakistan in various countries of the world. Acknowledging his remarkable services to the nation. Pakistan Army rewarded him so many awards and distinctions. Prior to his retirement he diverted his attention to the literary activities. He wrote some books e.g. "Kabah Musherfah", "Mazameen-e-Barq", "Makateeb Banam Abdullah Khan" and "Attock: Tareekh-o-Siqafat". He also wrote a travelogue "Swan se Swan Tak" which is much informative.     Takreez is an Arabic word which has been derived from the word Ukaz. In the era of darkness a fair was held in Ukaz where renwoned poets recited there poems. The tradition of Takreez came in Urdu literture from Arabic language and literature. Writing of Takreez was practiced commonly in classical age of Urdu litrature.
