Mirza Ghalib is considered one of the greatest poets of Urdu ghazal tradition. He qualified himself as poet par excellence. He opened newer dimensions in Urdu letter writing. In fact, Ghalib was so enamored by this genre that imprints of his letter writing can easily be traced in his verse. The article presents an analytical study of Mirza Ghalib’s letters and his fascination with the art of letter writing

Khawja Abdullah Sialvi had a great literary taste. His unpublished poetry reflects upon the varied thoughts and intellectual manifestations of human faculty. A clean environment and nature are some of the blessings that Allah Almighty has given to humanity. The environment has special importance in the life of all creatures. However, modern mechanized life has polluted nature and the environment. Due to this environmental pollution, the rainbow of the sky, the water’s clarity, the air’s freshness, and the beauty of the trees and plants have almost disappeared. But being the best of creations, the greatest responsibility is placed on humans to protect and prevent the destruction of the environment. Contemporary Iranian poets have described the significance of protecting the environment and nature by depicting them in their poetry. This research has been carried out considering the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal No. SDG-15 to protect “life on earth”. The study aims to bring awareness regarding protecting the environment, saving life on earth from destruction, and promoting measures for sustainable development

Salma Siddiqui was a short story writer, translator and novelist. She was daughter of Rasheed Ahmed Siddiqui and wife of Krishan Chandar. Having great literary senses her novel Sikandar Namah is a great literary work. This novel having great humor and serious reflection of the situation in colonialism in between the lines. This novel ignored by the critics and the historians of Urdu literature. Research has the attribute to acknowledge such kind of literary work and personalities, those were not admired as the deserved. This article is an effort to acknowledge the writer Salma Siddiqui and her novel Sikandar Namah as it deserve. The effort will help the scholars to know about writer and novel
علیم اللہ عباسی لاہوری: احوال وآثار
Aleemullah Abbasi Lahori is a great writer, poet, scholar, researcher and mystic, who was born in Lahore in 18th century during later mughal period. He was the son of Abdur Rasheed Abbasi, who was a great mystic of his times. He had great learnings towards mysticism. He was disciple of Sufi Jameel being Peshwari, a well known Saint of Naqshbandi lineage. He wrote many books on the topic of Sufism and related mystical mystrices. He mentioned renowned saints of different mystic lineages. He travelled to different Islamic countries like Rome, Syria, Instanbul, Damascus and Kashmir etc. He met with great scholars during his travelling and gathered gems of knowledge. At last he settled in Damascus and here he passed away in 1762 A.D/ 1176A.H.
احمدندیم قاسمی اور اقبال کی ذہنی ہم آہنگی
The philosophy of Allama Muhammad Iqbal is so rampant that it occupies Universal value in modern world. A lot number of poets engulf the theme of his great philosophy in their own capacity. Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi is famous representative poet and short story writer of Urdu. Although he was an enthusiastic figure of progress Writers Movement but also inspired by Allama Iqbal. Nadeem inwardly engrave aroma of Iqbal’s philosophy in his poetry. His numerous verses reflect the weight of Iqbal’s philosophy i.e. dignity of Humanity, Ishaq, Iblis, Critic over Western Imperialism, Life after Death and Fine Arts. His poems and Ghazals show owning of Iqbal rhymes, phrases, allusion and diction. The article explores different shades of the intellectual hormoney between Iqbal and Ahmed Nadeem Qasmi through their verses.

The family system presented in the Urdu novel before partition was the joint family system provided by the agrarian system of life. This joint family system was convinced of the primacy of family ties and emphasized interdependence. In this system, love, loyalty and sacrifice were the basic beliefs. Later, the joint family system became the cause of most of the economic and social problems faced by the subcontinent family system while regressing from the agricultural system to the industrial system. Therefore, the Urdu novel was both an exponent and a critic of joint family life. Thus, the Urdu novel, starting with the reform of the family before the establishment of Pakistan, became a reflection of the different situation of the joint families living in the society
مہستی گنجوی دور حاضر کی کشور ناہید
MahsatiGanjivi is a well known poetess of 5th century A.H who was first poetess of quartrain and she was also first poetess who wrote ShahreAshob in quartrain and she gave novelty to this form of poetry by discussing the professions of common people like butcher,shoe maker etc.she was the courageous lady who expressed feelings of women librally and she also pin pointed the double standards of religious people like Hafiz Shirazi. Because of her boldness she has to face criticism and also was imprisioned.Echo of MahsatiGanjivi can be heard in the poetry of KishwarNaheed who was born in Sayyid family where she had to face restrictions of hijab and other social injustice and superiority of man over woman. So she like Mahsati raised her voice against this social injustice and strongly propounded the sentiments of a woman and denied the supremacy of man, that’s why she was conferred with the title of rebel
