The findings emphasize the importance of adopting a circular economy approach and policy frameworks to ensure the long-term viability and responsibility of the mining industry
EVALUATING THE IMPACT OF BIO-ENZYMATIC SOIL STABILIZATION ON SUSTAINABLE GEOTECHNICAL APPLICATIONS: A COMPREHENSIVE STUDY
Soil stabilization is a critical process in geotechnical engineering to enhance soil properties forconstruction and infrastructure development. Conventional methods often involve environmentallydetrimental materials such as cement and lime, highlighting the need for sustainable alternatives. Thisstudy evaluates the potential of bio-enzymatic soil stabilization as an eco-friendly and cost-effectivesolution. Using bio-enzymes derived from natural organic sources, this method offers improved soilshear strength, reduced permeability, and enhanced durability while minimizing carbon emissions andenergy usage. Laboratory tests and field studies demonstrate significant improvements in soilmechanical properties, showcasing the viability of bio-enzymes for sustainable geotechnicalapplications. The findings suggest that bio-enzymatic stabilization can play a pivotal role inaddressing environmental challenges in modern geotechnics
CONSTRUCTION SAFETY TECHNOLOGIES
Construction safety is a critical concern due to the inherent risks and hazards associated with construction sites. Advancements in technology have significantly enhanced the ability to prevent accidents, improve safety protocols, and ensure worker protection. This paper explores the various emerging technologies used in construction safety, including wearable devices, drones, Building Information Modelling (BIM), augmented reality (AR), and machine learning. Wearable devices such as smart helmets and vests equipped with sensors can monitor worker health and detect hazardous environmental conditions in real time. Drones are increasingly used for site inspections, enabling remote monitoring and hazard identification without putting workers in dangerous situations. BIM integrates safety planning into the design process, while AR and machine learning provide innovative solutions for real-time hazard recognition, training, and predictive safety analytics. The integration of these technologies fosters a proactive safety culture, reducing accidents and improving overall site efficiency. This paper discusses the potential, challenges, and future directions of these technologies, emphasizing their role in transforming construction safety management
VERTICAL FARMING AND URBAN AGRICULTURE INTEGRATION
Vertical farming and urban agriculture are emerging as innovative solutions to address the challenges of food security, urbanization, and environmental sustainability. This integration aims to transform underutilized urban spaces into productive agricultural sites, leveraging advanced technologies such as hydroponics, aeroponics, and controlled environment agriculture (CEA). Vertical farming maximizes land use efficiency by growing crops in vertically stacked layers, significantly reducing the need for arable land and water. Urban agriculture promotes local food production, reduces food miles, and enhances urban resilience. This abstract explores the potential of combining vertical farming with urban agriculture, examining the benefits, challenges, and future prospects for creating sustainable, self-sufficient urban ecosystems
SUSTAINABLE DEMOLITION AND PRACTICES
Sustainable demolition offers a crucial shift from traditional "wrecking ball" methods, addressing the sig-nificant environmental and economic impacts of construction and demolition (C&D) waste. This research investigates the principles, techniques, benefits, and challenges associated with sustainable demo-lition practices, encompassing deconstruction, material re-use and recycling, and waste minimization strategies. Tra-ditional demolition contributes substantially to landfill bur-den, resource depletion, and environmental pollution, ne-cessitating a more circular approach. Sustainable demoli-tion aims to minimize waste generation, maximize the re-covery and reuse of building materials, and reduce the over-all environmental footprint of building removal
A STUDY ON WORKING CAPITAL MANAGEMENT OF CHAITANYA CHEMICALS LIMITED, KADAPA
Working capital management is essential to a company’s goals working capital management operational effectiveness and financial stability. Chaitanya chemicals working capital management producers are the main subject of this study, which examines how well the business handles its current assets and liabilities to preserve liquidity and profitability. In order to determine how they affect the company’s financial wealth. The study looks at important element like cash flow, account payable, account receviable and inventory management. The cash conversion cycle is also examined in the study , as its effectiveness in preserving the ideal ratios of short term assets to liabilities. This study attempts to determine areas where working capital management at chaitanya chemicals needs to be improved using financial analysis. This working capital management is important for financial management
Agricultural Productivity and Chaotic Economic Growth
This paper's overarching goal is to provide a fundamental model for agricultural development that, given a set of parameters, may produce stable equilibria, cycles, or chaos.A key hypothesis of this work is based on the idea that the coefficient π = ( − )plays a crucial rolein explaining local economic stability , where α – the coefficient of marginal agricultural labour productivity ; β – the coefficient of average agricultural labour productivity
ENHANCING THE BEARING CAPACITY OF BLACK COTTON SOIL BY USING COPPER SLAG, PLASTIC AND CALCIUM CARBIDE
Expansive black cotton soils are prevalent globally and pose a major threat to infrastructure integrity. Soil stabilization means improvement of the bearing capacity of soil can be enhanced through controlled compaction, proper proportioning, or the incorporation of appropriate admixtures or stabilizers. Due to their significant swelling and shrinkage properties, black cotton soils pose challenges for highway engineers. So in this research, a material such as copper slag, plastic and calcium carbide was used to improve the strength properties of soil. California Bearing Ratio and Standard Proctor test were conducted with different percentages of copper slag, calcium carbide (10%, 25%), and Plastic bottle strips (1.0%, 2. %). The characteristics of black cotton soil have been observed to change when mixed with copper slag, calcium carbide and plastic bottle strips are suitably enhanced. For this research work vane share test, standard proctor test, unconfined compression test, sieve analysis, and pychnometer test were conducted. We had performed a vane share test and found the shared strength of selected soil was increased from 5.23×10-4 N/mm2 to 10.24×10-4 N/mm
RESILIENT URBAN DESIGN FOR CLIMATE ADAPTATION
As urban areas face growing challenges posed by climate change, including extreme weather events, rising temperatures, flooding, and sea-level rise, resilient urban design has emerged as a critical solution for adaptation. Resilient urban design focuses on creating cities that can effectively withstand and recover from these climate-induced stresses while promoting sustainability and ensuring the well-being of urban populations. Key strategies for climate adaptation include the integration of green infrastructure, sustainable architecture, energy-efficient buildings, and adaptive land-use planning. Green roofs, permeable surfaces, urban heat island mitigation, and improved stormwater management systems are some of the design innovations that help cities adapt to environmental challenges. By embedding climate resilience into urban planning and development, cities can enhance their capacity to cope with future climate risks, reduce vulnerabilities, and create more livable, sustainable environments
