Education within a firm: Conditions, needs and possibilities

    No full text
In the literature dealing with adult education in recent years efforts are recognized to explain and to establish the idea on educational function of a company (firm). Such efforts are encouraged by theories and research in human resources and in the changes brought into the world of work by the scientific-technological development. Since the sixties and especially since the seventies, programs of education in firms have developed and carried out intensively. In Yugoslavia, the idea and practice of education in firms has had a rather long, although unfortunately not entirely successful tradition. In the structure of work time per month, according-to the data obtained for the year 1989, professional training was represented by only 0.l hours. Also, educational work is left in charge of people not professionally trained for the job. Such state will have to be improved if the firms in Yugoslavia wish intensify their development

the work of Russian and Soviet pedagogue S.T. Šacki (1878-1934), proves that fundamental educational questions remain the same in time and that even the conteporay answers to those questions have been offered before. These ideas, also practiced in his own pedagogical work, closely resemble some of the conteporary solutions to the questions of educational theory and practice - the action research

Clinical inpatient therapy. Integration of psychotherapeutic and sociotherapeutic methods of treatment

    No full text
Different estimates of human nature are given by analytically oriented psychotherapy and sociotherapy. The former is attracted by the unconscious and irrational in man whereas the latter relying on ego-psychologists, is more optimistic and directed towards the conscious and rational in man. Psychotherapy is more oriented to the pathological, while sociotherapy to the healthy part of personality. In the framework of inpatient treatment, the application and integration of group sociotherapeutic and psychotherapeutic methods is found to be necessary. In the modern psychiatric department various forms of group therapy account for a basic form of treatment. The application of group therapy demands an individualized approach to both the patients and a chosen form of group therapy. The real group therapy should by no means be a kind of Procrustes' bedstead, i.e. the method obligatorily applied to all the patients in the department. In spite of all the advantages of group therapy, to create a fetish of work in groups has to be avoided. Not for itself but for patients should the group exist

The general topic of FABL II is “Folk, Areal and Balkan Linguistics”. The conference is organised by the Institute for the Study of Antiquity and Classical Heritage, a research unit affiliated with the Department of Classics at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Philosophy. This appropriately reflects the fact that the year 2025 marks the semicentennial of the passing of Milan Budimir (1891–1975), Academician and Professor of Classics at the University of Belgrade and a doyen of Palaeo-Balkan linguistics. At the same time, we owe this arrangement to the unprecedented collegiality and enthusiasm of Orsat Ligorio, Head of the Institute, whose vision and support made FABL II possible.Lucida intervalla.
