Six-DOF modular robotic arm bearing chatter suppression algorithm
Robotic arms are frequently utilized in contemporary industrial production since they offer great qualities like high precision and low mass. How to minimize robotic arm tremors in order to maximize their control effect has emerged as one of the most critical issues to be resolved with the continued development of industrial intelligence. The study uses a combination of PID control and an artificial fish swarm technique to optimize the parameters and confirm the simulation control effect based on the kinematic analysis of a six-degree-of-freedom (Six-DOF) modular robotic arm. The findings demonstrated that the suggested fusion approach converges to zero in 80 iterations and has a recall of 0.893 and 0.785 at an accuracy of 0.8 and 0.9, respectively. The robotic arm control system’s average control effect is 42.96 %, which is a respectable control performance. In the second and third studies, the fusion approach stabilized actuator end tremor suppression after 0.01 s and 0.0001 s, respectively. It shows that the technique can effectively suppress robotic arm bearing tremor and has high flexibility for robotic arm tremor suppression, which offers trustworthy technological support for improving the motion control system of industrial robots
Analysis of methods for improving the efficiency of “Iceberg” gas air coolers
Russia has the largest volume of natural gas reserves in the world. Recoverable natural gas reserves amount to about 67 trillion cubic meters, according to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation for 2023. In recent years, the development of the Unified Gas Supply System has been growing rapidly. Since 2021 the Government of the Russian Federation has been actively introducing draft laws and regulations related to the scaling of the country’s gasification. In June 2021 came out the Federal Law No. 184-FZ, which instructed the Government of the Russian Federation to adopt regulations aimed at implementation of provisions of free gasification of the country [1]. In September 2021 there was issued Decree No. 1547, [2] approving the new Rules for connecting gas-using equipment and capital construction facilities to gas distribution networks, which introduces the concept of pre-gasification. It is worth noting that new gas mains, compressor stations (CS) are put into operation, active reconstruction of the existing shops with exhausted gas compressor units (GCU) is carried out. One of the most urgent issues of the gas industry today is the efficient use of energy resources. Besides using the energy of flue gases from gas turbine drive of GPA, energy at gas throttling at gas distribution stations and other methods of energy saving, the significant role is played by the effective operation of air coolers of gas (ACG), the operation of which affects the reliable transportation of gas in the main gas pipeline (MG). The paper analyzes the methods of technical condition of gas air cooling devices of “Iceberg” type operated at the production site of the booster compressor station of “Gazprom Dobycha Nadym” LLC. The thermal efficiency of air coolers with all fans turned on and off was determined for the coldest and hottest months of the year. The electric energy savings of the frequency controlled drive (VFD) were calculated
Signal enhancement in wireless sensor networks based on adaptive filters
Wireless sensor networks are widely used in communication, medical treatment, radar and detection. With the vigorous development of computer science and intelligent technology, wireless sensor networks are also constantly improving in the development. Sensor networks are prone to noise interference when input signals, which will affect the estimation accuracy of the network. In order to enhance the signal of sensor network and improve its accuracy, a distributed filtering algorithm based on fusion adaptive weighting is proposed. Before building the model, the experiment first studied the three traditional adaptive filtering algorithms, LMS, RLS and AP, as the basis for building the experimental model. Then, combined with the distributed characteristics of the sensor network, the attributes of the nodes and their influence in the network were considered in the experiment, and the importance and support of the nodes were linearly weighted to obtain the estimated certainty of each sensor node to the target. Finally, a fusion adaptive weighted distributed filtering algorithm is constructed in the experiment. The simulation experiment verifies that the constructed model can reduce the noise interference to a certain extent, which is conducive to the enhancement of its network signal, and its error estimation accuracy is also improved
Fault logic circuit design of switching power supply based on soft reference circuit module
The basic idea of the circuit fault diagnosis method based on fault logic is to establish a computer expert database system first, connect the computer to the GPIB interface card, and then connect each intelligent instrument through the GPIB standard bus. Through the connection of the tested object adapter and the tested object, a circuit fault expert diagnosis and test platform are formed. Based on the traditional fault simulation model, this paper improves the fault logic circuit of switching power supply, designs the system model of fault simulation, deals with the logic structure and circuit hierarchy respectively, and produces the final output through the logic gate circuit by comparing the results of the fault logic circuit and the fault-free logic circuit. The designed switching power supply fault logic circuit works in the switching state, which has the characteristics of low loss and high energy conversion efficiency. Through the simulation analysis, the output is connected to the comparator, which plays the role of the whole wave. The simulation results are in line with the parameter indicators. The functional test results of the chip show that the function of the module is basically normal, which has practical application value and good portability and can be used as a reference for similar electrical designs
Energy efficiency by reducing throttling losses in hydraulic systems
Energy efficiency is important for a greener future and economics. Looking at the energy usage statistics in Turkey, most of the energy is used by industry. In the study presented in this article, low-cost solutions for reducing throttling losses in hydraulic systems have been examined. In this context, two units using fixed displacement pumps were designed. The energy consumption of these hydraulic units during the working process has been measured and examined. In line with the measured values, both systems were compared in terms of energy efficiency. According to the results obtained, it has been observed that with the simple design changes that can be made in the hydraulic systems, there are 44.5 % throttling losses and 24.4 % energy efficiency in the total cycle time
Vibration characteristics and seismic performance of historical buildings with brick-wood structures
To explore the vibration characteristics and seismic performance of historical buildings in Tianjin, we conducted on-site vibration testing under ambient vibration on three historical buildings with brick-wood structures in Tianjin. Specifically, we delved into the vibration characteristics and seismic performance of historic buildings with brick-wood structures by establishing the vibration analysis model, performing the theoretical calculations, and conducting seismic performance analysis. The results reveal that 1) the vibration frequencies of historical buildings with brick-wood structures are low, mainly concentrated in 2.0-8.0 Hz, which conforms to the vibration range of general buildings; 2) based on vibration analysis, it is concluded that the structural integrity of these buildings is good and there are no obvious structural defects; 3) the layout and storey height of historical buildings have great impacts on the vibration characteristics and seismic performance. 4) the comprehensive seismic capacity index of three buildings ranges from 0.91 to 1.75. The results of dynamic analysis under ambient vibration are consistent with those of theoretical analysis, providing a basis for preserving and reinforcing historical buildings
Genetic algorithm-based error correction algorithm for CNC turning machining of mechanical parts
This paper discusses how to improve the machining precision in the turning of slender shaft. The main cause of dimensional error in slender shaft machining is analyzed by establishing dimensional error model and using genetic algorithm to optimize cutting parameter selection. Based on this, the proportional-integral-differential control error compensation is proposed to reduce the error in the turning process of slender shaft. Through the simulation experiment, the machining size error of slender shaft under different cutting parameters is obtained. It is found that the increase of back blowing and feed rate will aggravate the dimensional error, while the increase of CS will reduce the dimensional error. The error after the proportional-integral-differential control error compensation is much smaller than that without the error compensation. The experimental results show that the method is reliable in reducing the errors in the turning of slender shaft, and can realize the machining mode with higher precision and efficiency. This is of great significance to the development of machinery manufacturing industry
Feedback hybrid force and position control of an upper limb exoskeleton to support human movement
In the paper, a feedback hybrid control including a force feedback control and a position control is proposed to control a four degree of freedom (4-dof) upper limb exoskeleton for supporting human movement at the shoulder, elbow and wrist joints. The novelty of the paper is that it has been able to control all the interaction forces at all links in the exoskeleton robot by using the proposed control. The desired interaction forces at the links and desired position are compared with the measured interaction forces and position, respectively. Then the torque at the shoulder, the torque elbow and the torque wrist joints are controlled to compensate the force error and the position error. The gains of the proposed controller are optimized by using the Balancing Composite Motion Optimization (BCMO). The simulation and control of the 4-dof upper limb exoskeleton using the proposed control is carried out in the paper to show that the interaction forces and the position of the exoskeleton track their desired values
