The Abandoned Treasures of Vasantgarh: Art, Metal Industry and Trade
This research paper intends to bring forth the forgotten treasures of Vasantgarh, enveloping the tangible and intangible heritage of the region, especially focusing on the Art and Metal industry and their relationship with trade and trading networks that developed in the era of the ancient city of Chandrawati and their connection with other trading centres of Rajasthan State & the border area of Gujarat State, the route being a part of the Silk-road trade route of world history.
The gathered data discloses the rich activity of art trade networks of Sirohi, the Western Indian Bronze School of Art and the area of Vasantgarh. The research paper includes a field survey and the collection of quantitative and qualitative data, which floodlit the immemorial history of the Rajputana State (Rajasthan) especially referring to the early traders of Sirohi who controlled the export and import of goods in the Medieval era.
Vasantgarh, an ancient smelting site of Sirohi was an important centre for the mining and smelting of copper. The evidence of a strong smelting industry is backed by the discovery of abounding dumps of smelting slags. The alloy sculpting arts of Vasantgarh employs one of the oldest methods for metal binding still in use: the Lost Wax method. The other important metal-joining techniques require a deep archaeometallurgical study-for example, riveting, brazing, brazing flux, welding and soldering. The Vasantgarh School of Art is connected with the industrial production of finely crafted alloy metal sculptures that gleam like gold. The 240 sculptures, related to Jainism, were recovered from an unauthorised treasure hunt. The prosperous city owes its design to the region's rich trade, which is why it is carefully guarded with a number of towers and walls. The city had been fortified in order to protect against robbers and other kingdoms who might pose a threat

Using of Modern Materials in Open and Distance Learning: Problems and Solutions
The process of educating everyone regardless of age, gender, race and caste is called the open and distance learning method. The method has emerged as a popular and up-to-date medium in today's world because those who cannot participate directly in the classroom system can continue their lifelong learning in this method. Due to the use of this method, it has been possible to continue the education system even in the Covid-19 situation. However, developing countries are facing some problems in applying modern education technology in open and distance education. Problems Have been mixed and an outline of the solution to these problems has been presented. The analysis of the results shows that lack of necessary electricity, internet and technical infrastructure, and lack of necessary technical equipment and skills of teachers and students are the main problems of applying modern technology in open and distance learning in Bangladesh. Philosophical Study of Third War between Afghan and British
The Third war between Anglo-Afghan started on 6th May 1919 and finally ended with an armistice on 8 August 1919. While it was essentially the minority of tactical victory for the British in so much as they were able to repel the regular Afghan forces, but in many ways, it was a strategic victory for the Afghanistan and Shah Amanullah khan. In fact, the beginning of the 20th century is the beginning of the strengthening of the reformist spirit of the governments. Influenced by the libertarian revolutions of the countries of the region, the intellectuals formed rescue groups against the intervention and colonial aggressions and tried to collect the secrets of the rulers in the affairs of the country. The first and second constitutionalists and the zealous youth of Afghanistan rose for the welfare of all from social justice to the formation of a non-authoritarian government. Even they sacrificed their lives for the purpose of realizing all this and were torn apart by the oppressors. They shed blood, sacrificed and left, but the history of the country never forgot them
Animism in Sohrab Sepehri's poems
Sohrab Sepehri (1928-1979) is one of the contemporary poets of Persian literature. Animism and personification of things are one of the most obvious types of imagery in Sepehri's poems. Being alive, moving, and intelligent in objects, natural phenomena, and abstract concepts in a literary work are called animism, which is achieved by giving physical or psychological characteristics. Critics have paid less attention to the fact that animism makes Sepaheri's worldview and a large part of his poems. It has been tried to show that Sepehri did not use animism as an art, but animism is his worldview. We investigated this issue by showing animism in Sepehri's poems and analysing it based on the theories of animism. It was known that in Sephehri's mind and imagination, objects and inanimate elements of nature have motion and movement, and as a result, when we look at nature and objects through his eyes, everything becomes full of life, movement, and life for us. The most obvious type of animism in his poems is personification, but the animism of inanimate objects can also be seen in animals
MIGRATION AND DISPLACEMENT AS EXISTENTIAL THREAT TO CULTURE CONTACT AND CULTURE SHOCK: THE NEXUS FOR THEATRE
More than ever before, there have been records of migration and displacements in many parts of the world both in developed and developing nations, leading to economic, social, religious and even political problems. These situations have been exacerbated by the increasing waves of conflicts and terrorisms at some major flash points of the world like Syria, Ukraine, Tawain, Russia, Sudan, Somalia, Cameroon, DR Congo, Nigeria, Egypt, Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Turkey, Iran, among other nations leading to mass exodus of migrants/refugees to other parts of the world, especially the European countries. The effects of this massive exodus of migrants, no doubt, metamorphosized into culture contact and culture shock. Human beings strive to understand their environment through culture which is dynamic and, in the process, changes their mode of life and the way they reason. The present ways of reasoning ultimately alter the physical and thought processes in many ways. These existential threats emanating from migration and displacement and its nexus to theatre, therefore, are what this study seeks to interrogate
Section 13, Magna Carta of Women: Awareness, Problems, and Prospects
The purpose of this study was to assess the degree of awareness and problems of the female faculty and GAD implementers of JRMSU on the provisions of Section 13 of the Magna Carta of Women, utilizing quantitative research design making use of a standardized test of the Gender and Development Survey Questionnaire. Scores were totaled, calculated, and statistical methods such as frequency count, percent, mean, and Chi-square were used to further analyze and interpret the data. Findings of the study revealed that female faculty and GAD implementers were well aware of the provisions of the law and rarely experienced problems, except for the opportunities to grow and contact information. Furthermore, there was no significant difference in the level of awareness of the respondents as to age, civil status, highest level of education, employment status, and designation but not on college. There was no significant difference as to the problems they met based on their profile. This means that the GAD Offices on the five campuses played an increased focus on informing the faculty members concerning the Magna Carta of Women, but some programs as to professional growth and opportunities are less considered. Thus, this study recommended that an information campaign video which focuses on the rights of women, including their benefits on leave, steps on how to avail it, as well as the hotlines, contact numbers, or contact person who is in charge of the programs initiated by the GAD Office, as well as the scholarship programs, faculty development programs, etc., may be developed and posted on the official social media platforms of the colleges
Scrutiny of Documentary Evidence of the Effectiveness of Staff Development Programmes in Zimbabwean Primary Schools: Implications for Quality Education
This qualitative case study was scrutiny of documentary evidence of the effectiveness of staff development programmes in selected primary schools in Hwange District, Zimbabwe. Its population comprised of primary school heads and a sample of 5(n=5); obtained through Purposive sampling was utilised. Interviews complemented by document analysis were employed as data generation techniques. The major findings were that staff development is being implemented at the studied schools considering the presence of staff development records particularly plans and minutes. However, these records were available at some schools while others did not have them. Based on the findings, the researchers concluded that staff development at the schools is reasonably effective though their effectiveness could be enhanced through improved recording of the programmes. The researchers recommended that concerned authorities should ensure that school staff development is properly documented in a way that fosters its effectiveness and quality education
Urban Literature and the Nigerian Challenges
Literature has been used and is still being used as a tool for solving societal problems in different nations at different times. Urban literature is a good example of literature that addresses and analyses societal problems. The European novel developed simultaneously with Western urban civilization (Ihekweazu 1992). Some critics argue that modernity finds adequate expression in the city novel as in novels like Zola’s Paris (1898), James Joyce’s Ulysses (1921), John Dos Passos’ Manhattan Transfer (1925) and Alfred Döbblins Berlin Alexanderplatz (1929) among others. Several of Cyprian Ekwensi’s urban novels also fall within the above list. This paper is more of a proposal on the achievement envisaged in the use of urban literature to solve some of our national problems. We, therefore, conclude with the proposition that if literature was used to solve societal problems in different places in the past, urban literature could be used to solve many of the problems in Nigeria today, particularly if targeted to address the problem of poor reading culture among Nigerians
