Signal enhancement in wireless sensor networks based on adaptive filters
Wireless sensor networks are widely used in communication, medical treatment, radar and detection. With the vigorous development of computer science and intelligent technology, wireless sensor networks are also constantly improving in the development. Sensor networks are prone to noise interference when input signals, which will affect the estimation accuracy of the network. In order to enhance the signal of sensor network and improve its accuracy, a distributed filtering algorithm based on fusion adaptive weighting is proposed. Before building the model, the experiment first studied the three traditional adaptive filtering algorithms, LMS, RLS and AP, as the basis for building the experimental model. Then, combined with the distributed characteristics of the sensor network, the attributes of the nodes and their influence in the network were considered in the experiment, and the importance and support of the nodes were linearly weighted to obtain the estimated certainty of each sensor node to the target. Finally, a fusion adaptive weighted distributed filtering algorithm is constructed in the experiment. The simulation experiment verifies that the constructed model can reduce the noise interference to a certain extent, which is conducive to the enhancement of its network signal, and its error estimation accuracy is also improved
Air leakage test system for product without atmosphere air connection
With the air leakage test methods, the leakage tests of the products that are required to be leakproof are carried out. This leakage test starts with placing the product on a fixture. The in-ternal pressure is increased by filling compressed air into the product placed in the Fixture. The product is filled with compressed air up to a previously calculated test pressure value. After the test pressure value is reached for the desired product, the air filling process is completed, and the stabilization period begins. At the end of this period, information about the leakage of the product is obtained, depending on whether there is a change in the internal pressure of the product. In order to fill the product with compressed air, there must be an air hole on the product. Products without this air hole cannot be tested with these methods. With the new method we will develop, it will be possible to test the leakage of closed products without atmosphere-air connection
Influence of the fractional-order strain on an infinite material with a spherical cavity under Green-Naghdi hyperbolic two-temperature thermoelasticity theory
In this work, a novel mathematical model of thermoelastic, homogenous, isotropic, and infinite medium with a spherical cavity has been constructed. Under the hyperbolic two-temperature Green-Naghdi theory of thermoelasticity type-I and type-III with fractional-order strain, the governing equations have been established. The bounding surface of the cavity has been thermally loaded by a ramp-type heat and is connected to a rigid foundation which prevents volumetric strain. Different values of the fractional-order and two-temperature parameters have shown numerical results for the dynamical and conductive temperature increment, strain, displacement, and average of principal stresses, which are graphically applicable to all the functions studied. The fractional-order parameter has significant effects on stress and strain distributions, while it has a limited effect on the dynamical and conductive temperatures increment. The hyperbolic two-temperature parameter has significant effects on all studied functions based on Green-Naghdi models of type-1 and type-II. Moreover, the ramp-time heat parameter has a significant impact on all the studied functions under all the studied models of thermoelasticity
Feedback hybrid force and position control of an upper limb exoskeleton to support human movement
In the paper, a feedback hybrid control including a force feedback control and a position control is proposed to control a four degree of freedom (4-dof) upper limb exoskeleton for supporting human movement at the shoulder, elbow and wrist joints. The novelty of the paper is that it has been able to control all the interaction forces at all links in the exoskeleton robot by using the proposed control. The desired interaction forces at the links and desired position are compared with the measured interaction forces and position, respectively. Then the torque at the shoulder, the torque elbow and the torque wrist joints are controlled to compensate the force error and the position error. The gains of the proposed controller are optimized by using the Balancing Composite Motion Optimization (BCMO). The simulation and control of the 4-dof upper limb exoskeleton using the proposed control is carried out in the paper to show that the interaction forces and the position of the exoskeleton track their desired values
Multi-indicator optimization of riveting joint forming quality of aluminum alloy sheets based on response surface test
In this paper, the effects of the interaction between punch diameter, die depth and punch speed on the quality of riveted joints are investigated using the BBD response surface test method. The results show that the mold depth has the greatest influence on the key dimensional parameters of riveted joints, followed by the punching speed, and then the punch diameter, while the punch diameter and the mold depth are the two factors with the most obvious interaction. The optimum riveted joint process parameters determined are punch diameter of 5.24 mm, die depth of 1.44 mm, and stamping speed of 5.00 mm/s. The corresponding relative errors predicted by numerical simulation and response surface optimization objective are 5.96 % for neck thickness, 3.29 % for interlocking value, and 1.37 % for bottom thickness; and the relative errors predicted by experimental results and optimization objective are 13.42 % for neck thickness, 13.42 % for interlocking value, and 1.37 % for bottom thickness. 13.42 %, interlock value is 4.23 %, and bottom thickness is 2.23 %, the model accuracy is high, and the optimization method of response surface test can effectively improve the quality of riveted joints. Through numerical simulation, the metal flow law and stress distribution during the riveting and forming process of aluminum alloy plate were analyzed, and the strength test of riveted joint was carried out, and the maximum destructive shear load of the joint was 1.8 KN, and the strength of the joint was improved, which verified the validity of the response surface optimization method
Research on road damage recognition and classification based on improved VGG-19
In recent years, methods of road damage detection, recognition and classification have achieved remarkable results, but there are still problems of efficient and accurate damage detection, recognition and classification. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes a road damage VGG-19 model construction method that can be used for road damage detection. The road damage image is processed by digital image processing technology (DIP), and then combined with the improved VGG-19 network model to study the method of improving the recognition speed and accuracy of VGG-19 road damage model. Based on the performance evaluation index of neural network model, the feasibility of the improved VGG-19 method is verified. The results show that compared with the traditional VGG-19 model, the road damage VGG-19 road damage recognition model proposed in this paper shortens the training time by 79 % and the average test time by 68 %. In the performance evaluation of the neural network model, the comprehensive performance index is improved by 2.4 % compared with the traditional VGG-19 network model. The research is helpful to improve the model performance of VGG-19 road damage identification network model and its fit to road damages
A third-order shear deformation plate bending formulation for thick plates: first principles derivation and applications
A third-order shear deformation plate bending formulation is presented in this study from the first principles. The derivation assumed a displacement field constructed using third-order polynomial function of the transverse (z) coordinate; and made to apriori satisfy the linear three-dimensional (3D) kinematics relations as well as the transverse shear stress free boundary conditions at the top and bottom plate surfaces. The formulation thus has no need for shear stress correction factors of the first-order shear deformation plate theories. The domain equations of equilibrium are obtained as a set of three coupled differential equations in terms of three unknown displacements. The system of coupled equations is solved for simply supported rectangular and square plates subjected to four cases of loading distributions: sinusoidal loading, uniformly distributed loading, linearly distributed loading and point load at the plate center. Navier’s double trigonometric series method is used to construct trial solutions for the three displacement functions such that the boundary conditions are satisfied identically. The integration problem is thus reduced to an algebraic problem and is solved for each considered loading. It is found that the present formulation gives exact results for the normal stresses σxx for sinusoidal and uniformly distributed loads. The study further showed that the results for deflection and stresses agreed with Krishna Murty’s higher order shear deformation plate theory results. The present formulation gave accurate results because of the inclusion of transverse normal strain effects in the formulation. The formulation gives a quadratic variation of the transverse shear stresses across the thickness in consonance with the theory of elasticity method
Characterization of 3D-Radar images of pavement devoid damage based on FDTD
Accurate judgement of devoid damage information by 3D-Radar is an effective way of repairing damage in nondestructive pavements. In order to systematically analyse the characteristics of devoid damage under nondestructive pavements in 3D-Radar response. In this study, the 3D-Radar response to devoid damage of different sizes, locations and moisture contents was quantified by FDTD orthorectified simulations. Data acquisition of the pre-buried devoid damage on site was carried out using 3D-Radar, compared with the orthorectified simulation results and numerical analysis. The detection effect was also verified by relying on the project. The results show that the radar wave characteristics of the devoid damage are obvious. Different colour and waveform image characteristics in B-Scan in the presence and absence of water at the location; the size of the devoid also has an impact on the image characteristics. It depends on the footprints and size of the devoid. It creates “upward-convex”, “down-concave” and straight features; the presence of the devoid characteristics in the 3D-Radar mapping will enhance the confidence of the devoid identification through field tests and engineering verification
Influence of wheel web structure on the tight-curve short-pitch corrugation of metro
Short-pitch corrugation is a common phenomenon that occurs on tight-curve rails in metro systems. However, the contributing factors of this problem are still not fully understood, and effective control measures have yet to be developed. In this study, we investigated the contributing factors of short-pitch corrugation on tight-curve rails in metro systems using the complex eigenvalue analysis method according to the theory of friction-induced vibration. We also explored control measures for short-pitch corrugation from the perspective of optimizing the wheel web structure. Our results indicate that friction-induced vibration is the primary contributing factor to short-pitch corrugation in the wheel-rail system. The shape of the web structure significantly affects rail corrugation, and compared to the straight web structure, unstable vibrations are more pronounced in the S-shape web structure. In contrast, the bow web structure can significantly improve the system stability of the wheel-rail interaction, and the greater the web curvature, the better the inhibitory effect. The wheel deformation under contact force varies with the web curvature, and when the axial deformation of the wheel extends toward the inner rail, the wheel-rail system no longer exhibits unstable vibrations. Conversely, when the axial deformation of the wheel extends toward the outer rail, the greater the deformation, the greater the instability of the wheel-rail system
Extraction and diagnosis of rolling bearing fault signals based on improved wavelet transform
As the continuous growth of the machinery industry, the importance of rolling bearings as key connecting parts in machinery movement is also increasing. However, the extraction and diagnosis of rolling bearing fault signals are difficult, and how to use modern transform analysis methods to raise the extraction efficiency and diagnostic accuracy becomes the focus. For this, a rolling bearing fault signal extraction and diagnosis model is designed based on empirical wavelet transform. The diagnostic model is optimized by using support vector machine and quantum genetic algorithm to design a rolling bearing fault signal extraction and diagnosis model based on improved empirical wavelet transform-support vector machine. The test results show that the research method can obtain four component signals showing different anomalies when generating time domain diagrams. Only five component peaks are generated and one group is extracted as output when generating component peaks. The abnormal amplitude of envelope spectrum basically reaches 0.40×10-6 or above. The judgment accuracy of component diagnosis reaches 98.12%. The above results show that the research method has better fault signal extraction ability and better diagnostic accuracy when performing fault signal diagnosis, which can provide new technical support for rolling bearing fault signal extraction and diagnosis
