Due to the harsh working environment and various types of faults in mine hoists, the implementation of conventional detection is relatively difficult. In order to improve the maintenance and fault detection efficiency of mine hoist, a portable vibration detection system is designed and applied in this paper, which can judge the type and characteristics of mechanical faults according to the different responses of vibration signals. According to the test conditions of the vibration system, the overall structure and functional composition of the hardware system are established. The key functional modules are designed, including signal conditioning module, main control module, vibration sensor and power management module. The main reasons that affect and produce the hoist fault and mechanical vibration are analyzed. The wavelet packet analysis method is proposed to realize the decomposition of low frequency and high frequency signals to improve the signal resolution of the whole frequency band in the frequency domain. The vibration test system has the function of real-time data transmission and control. The realization methods include WiFi and reserved RS485 communication interface, which can match the communication rate with the data sampling rate. The amplifying circuit of the electric signal is designed to effectively ensure that the output voltage of the charge amplifier is within the input range of the amplified ADC value. In order to verify the working effect of the system, the most common gearbox and bearing failures are taken as examples. The response signals of vibration test and diagnosis can be effectively obtained, and the fault types and characteristics can be accurately judged. Through confusion matrix analysis, the reliability of the system detection index is effectively verified. The research results show that the data of the vibration detection system is stable and reliable, and can achieve good troubleshooting effect. It also can be known that different fault types can excite different vibration responses, especially at resonance frequencies. According to the verification, the data of the vibration detection system is stable and reliable, and can achieve good troubleshooting effect

In this paper, In order to make use of the rotating motion characteristics of the roller cage shoe structure in vertical shaft lifting guide device, a nonlinear gyromagnetic excitation piezoelectric superposition beam energy harvester with compact structure, non-contact and high energy harvester efficiency is designed. The nonlinear force between moving magnet and stationary magnet is used to transform the rotating motion of the roller cage shoe into the end vibration of the piezoelectric vibrator. In order to improve the utilization rate of the piezoelectric plate and the low-amplitude response sensitivity of the energy harvester, acrylic material is introduced to re-place the traditional metal substrate, the bottom piezoelectric vibrator is hinged with the end of the top piezoelectric vibrator, and the middle part of the piezoelectric vibrator ends are longitudinal-superimposed beam structure with chute connection. The structural parameters, gyromagnetic excitation properties and strength of the piezoelectric vibrator are optimized and analyzed through finite element simulation and experiments, and the longitudinal and transverse arrays of piezoelectric vibrators are designed. The effects of terminal connection mode, array spacing, array number and load resistance on the power generation performance of the energy harvester are investigated. The results show that when the number of vertical arrays is 8 layers and the array spacing is 1.5 mm, higher voltage output and vibration consistency are achieved. When the horizontal array is 7 groups and the load is 10 kΩ, the maximum output power of the energy harvester is 11.26 mW, which can realize the self-power supply to the wireless transmitting node

Brushless DC motor (BLDCM) is a multivariable nonlinear time-varying system, which is difficult to control. The discrete sliding mode control method for BLDCM of electric vehicle on the basis of particle swarm optimization (PSO) is studied to improve the application of BLDCM in electric vehicle. The mathematical model of BLDCM of electric vehicle is established using the state formula. Based on the mathematical model of BLDCM, through the analysis of electromagnetic torque control of BLDCM, it is clear that controlling the angle between rotor flux and stator flux can accurately control the electromagnetic torque of BLDCM. The adaptive discrete sliding mode controller (SMC) is set to control the electromagnetic torque of BLDCM of electric vehicle, and the PSO algorithm is adopted to obtain the optimal parameters of the adaptive discrete SMC to realize the discrete sliding mode control of BLDCM of electric vehicle. According to experimental results, the proposed method can achieve the accurate control of torque and speed of BLDCM of electric vehicle, and increase the application of BLDCM in electric vehicle

    Get PDF
A fault diagnosis method for the rotating machinery based on improved Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) with Gray-Level Transformation (GLT) is proposed to increase the accuracy of the recognition adopting the multiple sensors. The Symmetrized Dot Pattern (SDP) in this method is applied to fuse the data of the multiple sensors, and the multi-color value method is adopted to increase the feature dimension. The grayscale and GLT are used to reduce the dimension of the SDP image. The SDP grayscale image is finally input to the CNN network for training recognition. The research results show that the diagnosis accuracy of the rolling bearing system based on the novel method is up to 98.6 %. Compared with the method without the multi-color value and GLT, the recognition accuracy of the proposed method is improved by 22.3 %, and the training time is reduced by about one third. The research work reveals that the developed method has the potential application value under the multi-sensor working conditions for the fault diagnosis

A method of operational control of the residual resource of the tank is proposed. As a tool, the measurement of deformations of the tank wall, the assessment of plastic deformations are used. To determine the deformation, it is proposed to use a light guide installed on the wall, with the help of which the change in the curvature of the wall is measured. A device prototype containing a light guide and the necessary electronics has been developed, and the dependence of the device readings on the curvature of the light guide has been experimentally determined. The simulation of the tank in the computer simulation program was carried out in order to compare the integral of the relative deformation over the height of the tank with the readings of the device. An algorithm for processing measurements of device readings and estimating the residual life of the tank is proposed

The vibrating screen with statically indeterminate mesh beam structure (VSSIMBS) is a novel type of large vibrating screen, which is widely used in coal preparation plants due to its high strength and processing capacity. In this study, the VSSIMBS motion differential equations were obtained via on Lagrange equation, and the dynamic vibration system model was established. The eccentric block force conditions during the operation were analyzed, and the stable vibrating screen operational conditions were obtained. The electromechanical coupling simulation model of VSSIMBS was built in Simulink, allowing frequency control and vibration synchronization experiments. Experimental frequency control results have shown that when the output characteristics of both motors are either the same or similar, synchronous movement can be achieved. Regarding vibration synchronization, experiment results have shown that when two motors are in synchronous motion, and the power supply of one motor is cut off, they still can operate synchronously. Thus, the experimental results obtained in this study provide a theoretical reference for improving the motion stability of large vibrating screens

Oil tank level is an important control parameter in oil depot management. According to the principle that the liquid in the oil tank can absorb the guided wave propagation energy in the tank wall, this paper studied a non-reference detection method of external ultrasonic liquid level switch based on the signal energy change value between the current and the previously liquid level detection signal. The experimental results show that the ultrasonic guided wave with the center frequency of 30 kHz is sensitive and low misjudgment to liquid level detection. According to the experimental setup, the liquid level judgment threshold is set to 0.9890. The influence of the liquid on the guided wave propagation in the tank wall decreases with the frequency of the guided wave increase. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified on a diesel oil tank. The research of this paper provides a method for the research of oil tank external liquid level switch technology, and provides an idea for the research of oil tank liquid level measurement based on ultrasonic guided wave
