    VERMICOMPOSTINGOFPRESSMUDFROMSUGARINDUSTRY

    No full text
India is one of the largest growers of sugarcane with an estimated produced of around 300 million tons in the marketing year 2009-2019. Sugar-distillery complexes, integrating the production of cane sugar and ethanol, constitute one of the key agro-based industries. There are presently nearly 400 sugar factories in the country along with around 300 molasses based alcohol distilleries. These include sugarcane trash, bagasse, pressmud and bagasse fly ash. Vermicomposting of pressmud is an efficient method of waste disposal, enabling recycling of organic matter.Vermicomposting of pressmud is one of the most promising technologies for solid waste treatment

The article indicates and establishes the stability of atmospheric stratification, which occurs during temperature inversion, in the early morning and late evening, when cold, denser, therefore, heavier layers of air are located below, and lighter above. At the same time, the absence and presence of thermal turbulence in the images of target targets, which makes it possible to take into account vertical refraction by the turbulent method, is shown

ROBUST DIGITAL IMAGE WATERMARKING BY USING DCT TECHNIQUE

    No full text
Nowadays the internet and the personal computers becomes more popular because these are very easy to handle and use and being used in many fields for the transmission of most of the information in digital format. Due to the digital format transmission the copy write protection for this data is necessary in the World Wide Web and multimedia applications. The copyright protection and authentication generally loses their security of the data. Therefore it is necessary to protect the intellectual property in technical study and the research. Recently, most of the watermarking techniques are used to protect the intellectual property of the data. In this paper, an effective algorithm is present to embed the watermark into the host image by using DCT transform. There were many papers presented by using the same concept to embed watermark into the middle band coefficients of DCT blocks. But these papers have disadvantage that these are not computable for the Joint Photograph Expert Group (JPEG) image compression. The JPEG compression generally discards the high band frequencies in the DCT block it also includes some middle band data. In this paper the lower band coefficients of DCT blocks was employed, because it is robust against the attacks by the JPEG. In order to improve the imperceptions, only one bit was embedded in each coefficient of a DCT block. Finally, the experimental results show the proposed algorithm suitable for different image compression techniques like as JPEG, BMP, TIFF, GIF and PNG, etc

P-Q theory based design of Unified Power Quality Conditioner for tranquillization of voltage and current unbalance under Non Linear Load condition.

    No full text
This paper presents unified power quality conditioner (UPQC) which is an integration of shunt and series Active Power Filters and aims to compensate for voltage sag, voltage and current unbalance and other power quality problems [1],[5],[6]. The UPQC helps to improve power qualit y at the point of installation on power distribution system or industrial power system. This paper deals w ith design of UPQC by considering a controller based on PQ theory. Reference signal generation for shunt active filter is done by using PQ theory while for series dual PQ theory is used [2],[3]. Reference si gnals are then applied to pulse generators. Pulse generation is carried out by using hysteresis band controller f or each filter. The validation of proposed scheme is carried out by using Matlab/Simulink

MOVING OBJECT DETECTION BY USING OPTICAL FLOW

    No full text
Applications like surveillance, robotics etc the computer and machine vision are the important and useful area of research. As one of the vital part of computer vision, object tracking plays a critical role in numerous lines of research such as human and non-human activity recognition, 3D representation and 3D reconstruction, augmented reality, video surveillance, and robotics etc. In the past decades for the object detection and tracking many researchers have developed their own algorithms, but developing a robust tracker is still a challenging task due to many intrinsic and extrinsic limitations like appearance change of a target object (anthropometric variations), change in view point, cluttered background, varying illumination, camera motion, and occlusions etc. This proposed algorithm detects and tracks the objects present the video. As video is nothing but the sequence of images or frames, the tracker should track the object from these consecutive frames successfully. Optical flow algorithm is used for object tracking

DEDUPLICATIONWITH MINIMUM WORKLOAD ON CLOUD SERVER APPROACH

    No full text
Cloud computing has a wide range of user to access its features, services and resources over the internet. The centralize cloud management was develop to satisfy efficiency. In cloud services resource control, resource management and workload on the server are some challenging issues. Load balancing helps to minimize the workload on the server by evenly distributing cloud resources on each server in cloud. Data de-duplication involves the process of detecting repetitive data. Elimination of duplicated data leads to reduction in data and network bandwidth. The proposed method focuses on the storage efficiency, provide security and load balancing. To carry out this process perform de-duplication process, chunking of data, hash function, load balancin

EXTRACTION OF MAGNESIUM FROM CHROME SLAG BY SULPHIRIC ACID LEACHING AT LOW TEMPERATURES

    No full text
In this this article ,a solvent extraction method by using sulphuric acid leaching was developed .The process conditions and parameters of sulphuric acid concentration ,leaching temperature ,leaching time and solid to liquid ratio were studied. These studied conditions and parameters were varied from 0.5M to 5M at 0.5 M interval, 30oC to 60oC at 5oC interval and 30 minutes to 240 minutes at 30 minute interval respectively. The solid to liquid ratios used were 1:2, 1:3, 1:4, 1:5, 1:6, 1:7, 1:8, 1:9, 1:10.The optimum percentage extraction efficiency of magnesium as found to be 66.87% at optimum operating conditions of 4M sulphuric acid concentration 60oC leaching temperature, 120 minutes leaching time and 1:2 solid to liquid ratio

DEVELOPING A NOVEL APPROACH FOR IMPROVING AVAILABILITY OF JOBTRACKER IN HADOOP

    No full text
Cluster based distributed system containssingles JobTracker and multiple TaskTracker. TaskTracker performs MapReduce operation on DataNode. In this approach, JobTracker facing single point of failure problem. The solution includes theAvatarNode and ZooKeeper. Firstly, AvatarNode uses efficient checkpoint strategy to manage temporary namespace. AvatarNode gives temporary space to store the metadata about current job and flush that data after successful job execution. Secondly, ZooKeeper which is used for session monitoring by communicating with failover manager that is residing in JobTracker andAvatarNode This approach reduces Remote Procedure Call (RPC) traffic between Backup Node and DataNodeby direct communication of JobTracker and AvatarNode

IOT BASED CRACK DETECTING, OBSTACLE DETECTING AND ENERGY MINIMIZING ROBOT IN RAILWAY TRACK

    No full text
Now a days lot of advanced medium of transports have been developed. One of the major transport medium is train. In India majority of the railway tracks have been improved with the latest technology. Accidents may occur due to some mechanical error, but often due to human error. Even then lot of train accidents are occurring due to crack in the railway track due to which many people are losing their lives. Also sometimes due to problem in the signaling train collision have also been occurring. Because of the fast development in advanced technology, many devices have been developed to detect and avoid the accident due to crack railway track and train collision. In this paper, one mini robot has been developed to identify the crack in the robot and also to avoid the collision of the train. The device also has energy minimizing technique in the railway compartment. The proposed mini robot has multiple sensors for crack detection, obstacle avoidance and energy consumption. It uses IR sensor, ultrasonic sensor and touch sensor. All the status from the sensors will be updated to the specific IOT website. Keywords: IR Sensor; IoT; Touch Senso
