SIMULATIONS OF ADAPTIVE ALGORITHMS FOR SPATIAL BEAMFORMING

    No full text
The main aim of this paper is to simulate different types of Adaptive Algorithms for Spatial Beam forming, which is achieved by combining elements of a phased array in such a way that signals at particular angles experience constructive interference while others experience destructive interference. Here, simulations are done on different types of Adaptive Algorithms in MATLAB and Simulink to determine the desired signal from clutter/noise by updating its weight value for better execution speed and computational complexity and the characteristics of individual algorithms are compared and their area of applications. Adaptive filter is a filter that self-adjusts its transfer function according to an optimization algorithm driven by an error signal

FUZZY LOGIC CONTROLLER BASED THREE PHASE SHUNT ACTIVE POWER FILTER FOR HARMONICS REDUCTION WITH ID-IQ CONTROL STRATEGY

    No full text
For the elimination of current harmonic in power system, Shunt active power filter is a complete current source. Its performance depends on the topology of inverter used in the design, control technique, and strategy employed in reference current generation. In this study, fuzzy logic cu rrent control technique is used for generatio n of pulses of the three phase inverter. A band pass filter is mainly required in synchronous reference frame algorithm (SRF) or Id-Iq theory for harmonics extraction. Under balanced voltage co ndition the sh unt active power filter performance is evaluated with MATLAB/SIMULINK. The result are good and gives satisfacto ry response in elimination of the harmonics

    WIND OPERATED TRAVELING CHARGER

    No full text
This workis mainly based on the concept of wind mill to generate DC voltage/electricity and this generated power can be used for various purposes. By using this concept,we develop wind operated traveling charger. Smart phones are mostly used during traveling for various purposes like internet browsing/ entertainment/social media. Mostly charging facility is not available during traveling. As Wind is adequate source of energy which is available at free of cost. The use of high velocity air flow through turbine for mechanically power generation. When fan rotates by application of wind, wind energy is converted into mechanical energy and this mechanical energy is converted into electrical energy by using DC generator. This generated power suppliedto IC 7805 which regulates and gives constant output of 5v. Generally, every ordinary mobile require 5v input supply to charge its battery. Female USB port is used as end effector, by using data cable we can connect it to our mobile and its battery

FEA OF A CRANKSHAFT IN CRANK-PIN WEB FILLET REGION FOR IMPROVING FATIGUE LIFE

    No full text
A crankshaft is often designed with a fillet radius to improving fatigue life of crankshaft. The fatigue life of crankshaft is depend on the proper fillet radius. This fillet radius is changes than fatigue life is also changes of crankshaft. In most of the time fatigue failure is occur in crank-pin web fillet region. The crankshaft fillet rolling process is one of the commonly adopted methods in engineering to improve fatigue life of the crankshaft. A finite element analysis is implemented to approximate the stress distribution induced in the crankpin fillet region. The modelling of crankshaft is created by Creo-parametric. Finite element analysis is performed to obtain the variation of stress at critical locations and fatigue life of the crank shaft using the ANSYS software and applying the boundary conditions. Radius of fillet is changes in model of crankshaft to improvement in fatigue life. This work in doing for optimization of a crankshaft in crank-pin web fillet region with fatigue life as well as to study a relation between fillet radius/diameter of crankpin to fatigue life

INTEGRATION OF COMMERCIAL FIBER OPTICS NETWORK WITH STEREOTYPE OPERATIONAL COMMUNICATION SYSTEM: AN IN-DEPTH ANALYSIS IN QUEST OF DEVELOPING COUNTRIES

    No full text
The stereotype operational communication resources used by military or even law enforcement agencies are suffering from frequent disruption due to varied environmental and topological factors. Nowadays, the armed forces of developed nations are exhaustively using wide-ranging satellite-based military communication systems. The developing nations are lagging in these regards. However, to keep pace with the ongoing evolution in commercial telecommunication sectors, most of the developing nations like Myanmar, Bangladesh, Pakistan etcetera have structured a steady fiber optics backbone across the country.  This steady communication backbone can be integrated with a military communication system to augment operational communication efficacy to a greater extend. The objective of this research is to identify the possibilities and challenges of integrating nationwide fiber optics infrastructure with a military communication system to boost up the operational communication capabilities to a substantial level. In the order of discussion, both qualitative and quantitative analyses have been carried out. Varied online resources, government publications, administrative census were consulted as primary and secondary data sources. The accumulated data are presented on tables having a mixture of univariate and bivariate analyses. Graphical representations are also made using various forms of charts as found suitable. NEW APPROACH FOR BRAIN TUMOR STAGE DETECTION AND AREA CALCULATION

    No full text
A tumor also known as neoplasm is a growth in the abnormal tissue which can be differentiated from the surrounding tissue by its structure. A tumor may lead to cancer, which is a major leading cause of death. Cancer incidence rate is growing at an alarming rate in the world. Great knowledge and experience on radiology are required for accurate tumor detection in medical imaging. Automation of tumor detection is required because there might be a shortage of skilled radiologists at a time of great need. We propose a new approach for brain tumor detection that can detect and localize brain tumor in magnetic resonance imaging. The proposed brain tumor detection and area calculation framework comprises image acquisition, pre-processing, segmentation, extraction, classification and area calculation and stage detection

    No full text
Thisstudy on analysis of multiair-jet impingement cooling. The nusselt number is defined based on the various nozzle diameters, Effect of distance between the nozzle exit and steel plate, angle ofnozzles, velocity of nozzle. Multiair jet impingement method is one of the intensive cooling method to cool the very hot object. Nusselt number and Reynolds number are analyzed with help of convective heat transfer coefficient and conductivity of plate (hl/k). And Reynolds number is varied with the help of four nozzles
