The impact of customer relationship management to achieve a sustainable competitive advantage for Touristic hotels ((An analytical study))

    No full text
The research aims to determine the role of customer relationship management in achieving the competitive advantage of the hotels under study. The research sample included all managers of tourist hotels operating in the holy city of Karbala. A random image sample of 40 managers was selected, and the following statistical methods were also relied on (arithmetic mean, standard deviation). and relative importance) in order to give a statistical description of the researched sample. Provided to customers, followed by interest in the processes related to managing relationships with customers) and the research came out with a set of recommendations, the most important of which is working to permanently improve the quality of services provided to customers, as studies have proven that the quality of services directly affects the degree of loyalty of customers

Investigating The Index and Physical Properties of Soils to Be Used as Subgrade Material (In Case of Gilgel-Beles, Ethiopia)

    No full text
Investigating the index properties and identifying the characteristic of the soil is very important for construction works as well as for further studies in the future as an input. The properties of the soil such as plasticity limit, liquid limit and plastic index of the soil are basic properties of the soils; which affect the design in highway construction. The objective of this research was to know the index, physical properties of soils and classify the soils on basis of their properties through Gilgel-beles town. To achieve the objective of this study, disturbed and undisturbed samples from different parts of the town were collected. To determine the properties of soil the test was conducted by using ASTM standard test procedure. Based on the laboratory test results the properties of soils of the study area were specific gravities range from 2.6 to 2.72, clay fraction 23-54.6%, silt fraction 14.9-50.5%, sand fraction 20.82-39.1% and gravel fraction 0-1.4%, liquid limit 30 – 52.5%, plastic limit, 24.9 – 40.5% and plastic index 5 – 19.5%. The test results showed that the soil found in the study area from all samples are almost fine grained soil consisting of sand in nature. According to USCS classification system of plasticity chart, most of the soil of the study area falls below A-Line in ML region, and TP-3, TP-5 and TP-7 in MH region, which have high plasticity (LL>50%) and the classification soils found in Gilgel-Beles town were ML, MH and CL. And also, according to AASTHO soil classification, the study area soils were dominantly categorized in A-7-5 and A7-6 which is poor for sub-grade materials. Based on the compaction test, maximum dry density (MDD) ranges from1.57 to 1.81 g/cm3 with optimum moisture content from 17 to 35.38 %. which is poor for sub-grade material

IMPACT OF PECTOLYTIC ENZYMES ON THE QUALITY OF GRAPE MUST AND QVEVRI WINE

    No full text
The issue of wine stabilization – giving sustainability to wine and its subsequent maintenance - is an actual topic for both Georgian and world oenologists. The existence of excess polysaccharides – pectin substances in wine creates the problem of instability. The stability of Qvevri wine needs special examination because it is made based on the fermentation of Chacha – stems rich in pectin substances and long term maceration. To avoid this process and to give stability to wine, synthesized enzymes – pectinases have been used in processing the grapes recently. Different pectolytic enzymes out of which the most active enzymes were chosen for the experiment were tested on Qvevri wine produced by various grape varieties: for red grape varieties - LAFAZYM® XL EXTRACTION and for white grape varieties - LAFAZYM® 600 XL ICE . The concentration of pectin substances produced during the activity of these enzymes in grape must and wine has been studied. The concentration of residual pectin substances in the wines produced is so little (up to 0,0023%) that it can only give a positive effect to the organoleptic properties of wine – it makes wine soft and smooth. In addition, there is no danger that residual pectin substances will appear in the form of protective colloids in bottled wines ready for sal

Study of the Effect of Radiology X-ray and its Risks on Human

    No full text
In this research, we must know the dangers of x-rays on the human body were identified. The possibility of damage that radiation can cause is related to being in high quantities, while radiological examinations are governed by international controls and standards that determine the amount of radiation within safe limits. The possibility of damage due to an examination using x-rays is a very small theoretical possibility. It is known that X-rays are a form of energy (electromagnetic waves) such as light and radio waves. But the difference is that the rays have the ability to penetrate the human body unlike light. After the discovery of X-rays by the scientist Roentgen, it was exploited in the medical field for the purpose of viewing and diagnosing the internal organs in the human body. We can say that the use of radiology in the medical field has a great impact in helping doctors to make decisions in treating their patients better

Frequency Effect on Embankment Under Soft Soil Using Seismic Loading

    No full text
The main objective of the research is to model the wrap faced embankment on the soft clay foundation by applying shake table test. To investigate the dynamic behaviour like acceleration amplification, displacement and pore water pressure of the wrap faced embankment with respect to different frequency changed (1 Hz,2 Hz, 3 Hz, 5 Hz, 8 Hz 10 Hz, 12 Hz and 15 Hz), fixed acceleration (0.05g) and surcharge (1.71 kPa) were used laminar box on shake table testing machine . The laminar box placed on the shake table machine, lab test for preparing reconstitute soil sample and wrap faced embankment with frequency arrangement are the main elements of this research. After applying all test parameters, dynamic parameters increased with increasing the elevation with respect to frequency. These models have also been was also verified experimented by numerical analysis by using PLAXIS 3D. The output results from both the experiments and numerical analyses have showed that the maximum dynamic parameters were found at the 10 Hz of the test. The errors in the numerical analyses with respect to experimental results was are less than 5%. This output results are very helpful to understand the relative performances of the wrap faced embankment which is accelerating the update design parameters
