ROLE OF CORRUPTION AND ITS IMPACT UNDER VARIOUS REGIMES: CROSS COUNTRY ANALYSIS
Many empirical studies investigate relationship between democracy and corruption by considering democratic and non-democratic regimes. There are many economies which are not fully democratic and autocratic, so there is a dire need to explore these relationships in case of other two categories of political regimes, such as flawed democracies and hybrid regime. Does this relationship equally hold in these political regimes? This study gauges out the linkages between corruption and economic growth for all plausible cases of political regimes. Empirical analysis includes sample of 159 countries based on different political regimes, consisting on 20 full democracies, 55 flawed democracies, 39 hybrid regime, and 53 authoritarian regimes. The data are taken from the period of 2006 to 2019. The sophisticated empirical Bayesian estimation procedure is employed to explore the association between growth and socio-economic variables. DEBT LAFFER CURVE ANALYSIS: A CASE STUDY OF HEAVILY INDEBTED POOR COUNTRIES
This study explores that whether the debt financing or debt forgiving would be suitable for the Highly Indebted Poor Countries (HIPCs). Debt Laffer curve theory has been tested in 21 HIPCs by applying price equation of debt, maximized value of debt and price elasticity approach over the period of 1980 to 2014. The maximized value of debt criterion implies that Chad is not eligible for the debt write-off strategy in comparison with the rest of the countries. By applying price elasticity approach, it is observed that only Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, and Republic of Congo are eligible for debt financing while the remaining countries should adopt debt write-off facility. The crux of the study is that overall debt forgiveness is suitable for the HIPCs. Moreover, it is also in the favor of both the creditor countries and various international financial institutions such as World Bank and IMF and HIPCs itself. The study suggests that the creditors should continue to be financing along with improving structural policies and institutions of the HIPC

Further, findings of the study postulate that explicit KSP fundamentally gives momentum to the performance of banks comparatively tacit KPS thus emphasizes that managers need to increase the flow of tacit KSP through social networking, etc
NEWCOMERS’ SOCIALIZATION TACTICS AND AFFECTIVE COMMITMENT: INTERPLAY OF PERCEIVED ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT AND PRIOR RELATIONSHIPS
Socialization is a necessary process that helps to manage new talent in the organization in order to survive and thrive in the global market. Numerous studies show that organizational socialization tactics affect workers’ affective commitment. However, the processes through which affective commitment is established during socialization is still unclear. We propose the socialization tactics generate newcomers perceived organizational support (POS) and develop affective commitment. Furthermore, pre-establish links within the organization play a contingency role in the socialization process. Surprisingly, there is no study which theoretically and empirically investigates these referral’s effects on newcomers’ socialization process and its workplace outcomes. We conducted a quantitative sectional survey from 228 newcomers of different organizations. The findings reveal that socialization tactics positively relate to the affective commitment through the mediation of POS and the POS-affective commitment is stronger when prior relationships are high. However, this contingent effect does not empirically support the socialization tactics-POS relationship. The implications are discussed, and future directions are provided
