    Connecting the Dots: How Organizational Commitment Mediates the HR Practices-Turnover Intention Link

    The main purpose of the current study is to analyze the influence of human resource (HR) practices on the intention of employees to leave their jobs, taking into account the intermediary role played by employees\u27 commitment to the organization. This investigation is rooted in the organizational support theory. Data was obtained through a self-administered questionnaire. The research was carried out by selecting a sample of 400 respondents from Pakistan\u27s hospitality industry, using a non-probability purposive sampling approach. The study\u27s findings revealed that there is a partially significant and direct relationship between HR practices such as training and development, motivation-enhancing approaches, and skill-enhancing initiatives—except for aspects related to pay and promotion. Notably, organizational commitment was found to significantly mediate the connection between HR practices and employees\u27 intention to leave their jobs within Pakistan\u27s hospitality industry. This research enriches the Human Resource Management literature by amalgamating HR practices, turnover intention, and organizational support theory into a unified framework. Through this, it offers insights into the potential routes via which HR practices can yield positive outcomes. From a practical perspective, this study extends guidance to HRM professionals in the hospitality sector on the effective implementation of HR practices.

    The Impact of Green Human Resource Management on Green Recovery Performance: A Moderated Mediation Model

    The main idea of this paper is to highlight the importance of environmental sustainability along with importance of implementation of green human resource management practices within an organization. Mediating role of pro environmental behaviors between the relationship of green human resource management and green recovery performance is the focus of study. It also looks at the moderating effect of ethical leadership style to achieve enhanced green recovery performance. The approach used for this study is quantitative and deductive. The researcher collected data through an electronic questionnaire and personally administration from 10 industries selected as per convince from PBD. Hayes process was used to analyze the mediating effect. Two hundred and fifty responses used as a sample for this study. The results confirm the findings of previous\researches conducted in other cultures. It also confirms that pro environmental behavior mediates the relationship of green human resource management and green recovery performance, and the Ethical leadership style (ELP) not moderate the relationship between GHRM and GRP and between GHRM and PEB respectively.     Exploring Resource-Based Actor Engagement in Microfinance Institutions: The Service-Dominant Logic Perspective

    Actor engagement is an emerging area of research in service-dominant logic yet equated with the traditional view of customer engagement. The narrow explanation of cognitive and emotional perspectives obstructs the theory building to further understand the resource-based perspective of actor engagement, thus warranting an inductive inquiry. The interrelated categorization is also a missing link in the literature, and this study fills this gap.  This qualitative study explores antecedents of actor engagement with a resource-based perspective at pre, core, and post-service encounters. While adopting the qualitative Gioia methodology, twenty-five customers of microfinance institutions were interviewed to explore the phenomenon. Our study reveals that in the pre-resource integration phase, the value fit and actors\u27 dexterity are the antecedents that bring actor engagement. The alignment of integrated resources and service interaction disposition ensures engagement at the resource-integration phase, whereas, in the post-integration phase, actor engagement is affected by the service outcome. Furthermore, the actors\u27 association with networks influences the engagement, and information gateways interconnect all three phases. This study offers four unique propositions to explain interrelated resource-based actor engagement. Microfinance institutions moving towards digital banking can adopt the study findings to redesign engaging strategies at an actor-to-actor level to ensure brand loyalty and commitment. Researchers can quantitatively test the proposed propositions for further conceptual advancement

Companies utilize social media marketing to spread the word about their products and spark online discussions. Brands with active online communities are more likely to see a rise in consumer interest and spending when consumers get familiar with such brands. Nowadays, people are more inclined towards doing business online than before. This study focuses on the impact of Pakistan\u27s automobile sector marketing efforts on social media and intention to purchase online. The use of customer-based brand equity and perceived brand community character as mediators. Furthermore, due to increase in online sales E-commerce quality is utilized as a moderator to comprehend the impact on the association between the company\u27s marketing efforts on the digital platforms and intention to purchase online. The Google form questionnaire yielded 398 replies by using a convenience sampling strategy. SPSS and Hayes Process Macro are utilized for data analysis. All hypothesis was accepted. The findings will aid automobile brand managers in understanding what to showcase in their online communities to achieve a positive brand outcome

    Digital Banking Transformation and Performance-Where Do We Stand?

    Every day an increasing number of business ventures are founded all over the world, however, these businesses require financial services to prosper. The conventional banking model though most relied upon by businesses the entry of digital banking is transforming the banking landscape. This paper focused on digital Banking Transformation and performance. Existing secondary data on Digital Banking Transformation and Performance was examined using scoping review by searching on Google Scholar and other respective online libraries for articles about digital banking transformation. The findings indicated that the vast majority of commercial banks have put in place various approaches to ensure trade and investment. Commercial banks pursue access to financial services with the primary goal of expanding their customer base and, as a result, enhancing funds and lending records. However, increased commercial enclosure clues to an increase in Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) which jeopardizes commercial bank solidity by increasing commercial bank credit danger. The study recommended that for appropriate bank lending survival and performance, banks should improve their use of digital access, digital channels, digital value and financial Inclusion as it has recently been proved that they have an impact on the financial efficiency and performance of banks. For proper commercial bank survival and prosperity, more focus should be placed on continuing to increase the application of Debit/Credit Cards and ATM financial services, especially when working with point-of-sale money transfers, particularly in supermarkets, stores, and retail locations. As it has been demonstrated, banks need to use debit cards through effective monitoring initiatives to reduce unnecessary operational and labour costs. The governments should also assist commercial banks in combating technological crimes, hinder not only the financial system but also other businesses, thereby influencing the banking system.     The number of women occupying senior management positions in Pakistani universities remains significantly low, with only 8.2% of women holding such positions in 2020, as reported by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC, 2021). A recent report by the HEC also revealed that out of the 197 universities in Pakistan, only 16 have female vice-chancellors, indicating the underrepresentation of women in other senior management roles, such as pro-vice-chancellor, registrar, treasurer, and controller of examinations. In order to gain a comprehensive understanding of the factors affecting women\u27s career progression in higher education management, this qualitative study conducted semi-structured interviews with 48 women in various management positions, alongside a focus group discussion. The data was subjected to thematic analysis, revealing the multifaceted challenges and limitations impeding women\u27s advancement to senior management positions. The findings suggest that factors such as women\u27s non-assertive behavior, preferentialism, Queen Bee syndrome, subtle discrimination, lack of professional ambition, and limited awareness of legal rights are the most significant barriers to women\u27s advancement in senior positions. Interestingly, themes related to women\u27s families were found to have the lowest frequency scores

As a consequence, this research extends a pragmatic investigation by the means of exploring the quintessence respecting the liaison between employee salary and employee turnover intention via the mediating representation of job satisfaction and employee performance, and examining the implications of job embeddedness as an underlying theory. In this regard, the statistics were primarily accumulated from a substantial number, amounting to 343 individuals employed at great many banking organizations situated in Lahore.     Currently, businesses located all over the world are adjusting to a new standard of operation. Customers are encouraged to make their purchases of necessities through the favored e-commerce platform of the organization. For the purpose of marketing web-based enterprises, websites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest are utilized. The purpose of the study was to investigate how the COVID-19 epidemic altered the purchase patterns of Pakistani customers shopping online, with a particular emphasis on the role played by social media. The study utilized a quantitative research model and a descriptive research technique in its data collection and analysis. In order to obtain responses from 400 Pakistani clients, an online questionnaire employing the "purposive sampling" method was used. When looking at the data and putting the hypothesis to the test, PLS-SEM analysis was utilized. During the COVID-19 pandemic in Pakistan, a PLS-SEM study indicated that advertising tools, online reviews, and endorsements from celebrities had a favorable and significant effect on how individuals bought products online. According to the findings of this study, online businesses can improve their use of social media for marketing and advertising by following a number of particular measures.     Financial Globalisation and Total Factor Productivity Growth in Pakistan

    The study aimed at examining the impact of financial globalisation and natural resource rents on Total Factor Productivity growth in Pakistan. The total factor productivity growth is computed by the growth accounting model assuming the Cobb-Douglas production Function, while the KOF index of globalisation is used to quantify financial globalisation. The series encompassed the time period from 1985 to 2019, and in order to get empirical results, an Autoregressive Lag Distributed Model is used. The empirical outcomes proved that financial globalisation positively impacts productivity. Hence, the propositions put forth by endogenous growth and new trade theories that globalisation has a central role in achieving productive growth are confirmed by the empirical findings of this study. On the other hand, the results indicated that rent-seeking behaviour concerning natural resources has a negative influence on total factor productivity growth in the long run demonstrating a natural resource curse exists for Pakistan’s economy. Based on its findings, the study recommended that promoting outward-oriented policies with a primary focus on financial integration is crucial for augmenting the overall productivity of domestic factors of production. Likewise, it is imperative to discourage rent-seeking behaviour from natural resources to increase the factor’s productivity
