The 2008 crisis has taught us a lot in many areas. We have realised the importance of making informed choices in all areas of life, including finance. The importance of financial literacy has been brought into sharp focus as a result of these events, which have highlighted the gaps and knowledge disadvantages that could have prevented the events and disadvantages that most of society suffered as a result of the crisis. However, in many countries, financial awareness is still conceptual, much discussed, researched and studied, but in many cases no real change is visible or tangible. In many cases, awareness programmes and initiatives are still in an experimental phase and are not yet integrated into the day-to-day management of problems. In our study, we aim to demonstrate the practical importance of financial literacy, awareness and culture in everyday life, based on the results of a primary research study conducted in Hungary after the pandemic outbreak, interviewing more than 6800 participants

TASTE MY TEARS: Received: 1st October 2021; Revised: 03rd March 2022; Accepted: 15th March 2022

The poem focuses on the pains of the heart and the tragedy an orphaned soul would feel. It aims to put the feelings into words to give a voice to emotions and to the people who suffer from similar problems but are unable to voice them. The methodologies used are not many and are primarily related to poetry and rhyme scheme. The poet moves on to describe how his soul is orphaned. Alone in this world, the soul is without a guide to ease his passage and lead one to his or her lover. In his tears, his final hopes remain that she will be able to share his fantasies and love with him by tasting them and feeling the embrace and kiss that he sent her, along with the emotions he sustained inside his salty droplets. That kiss is the same one that concealed his desolation and sins for far too long, and that kept those aching distresses that plagued his heart invisible to the people around him for inside, hope remained that he shall find a way to reach his lover and lay his eyes upon her—concluding that love reigns above all

This paper seeks to examine the novel The Scarlet Letter, published in 1850, by Nathaniel Hawthorne through individualism/collectivism dichotomy, highlighting the major chasm between the harsh 17th-century puritan community that demands total conformity from its members and heroine’s incessant struggle for individualism. Based on qualitative research, the analysis starts with a short introduction of individualism/collectivism dichotomy. It subsequently highlights the intense clash arising from the puritan morality and the heroine’s determination to create her own moral rules. The study found out that Hester’s strength of character and support for the community help to abate the dichotomy between the two parties, which leads to a fair degree of mutual acceptance

Being continually subjected to various forms of assessment remains a certainty for most of us, and the results of those evaluations often have a significant impact on our lives, be it positive or negative.Whether we have in mind aptitude tests, language tests, entrance examinations or either high school or a university, driving tests, their results are invariably of profound importance for us of profound importance for us. It is automatically taken for granted by the public is that the requirements for passing the tests are appropriate, and the instruments for the measurement of the required knowledge, abilities, performance, skills or competencies have been constructed in such a way that they reliably and accurately measure what they are intended to measure. Nevertheless, we often do not realize that this ideal is not always the case and hence, the tests frequently become a potentially dangerous instrument in the hands of the powerful in order to impose their policies. The objective of the contribution is to raise awareness and focus attention on the importance of tests, their design and quality control. It will illustrate the pitfalls in the area of language testing both from professional literature and authors’ experience

DIGITALIZATION OF WORK IN THE MIRROR OF LABOUR LAW PRINCIPLES IN HUNGARY

    No full text
The field of labor law can be characterized primarily as a legal branch regulating personal relations. Of course, this is true for most of the legal branches as well. But fewer legal regulatory fields can tell that there is a relation between the parties with a specific nature of trust. Of course, this is not classic trust, but it is similar. The relation between the employer and the employee usually supposes a relation based on long-term personal contribution in which all the participants have their task, right, and obligation. We are talking about a complex relationship system in which personal nature and stability have an especially important role. I want to illustrate the impact of digitalization on employment through the principles of labor law. To this end, I will focus on the general behavioral requirements of digitalization. I will also explore the meaning of the principles in this changed context. It will be necessary to regulate future forms of employment, but it will also be necessary to find the relevant legal basis. This article seeks to identify these legal bases

SWEDISH SUBURBS AS HETEROTOPIAS: TOWARDS A MULTICULTURAL LITERATURE OF PLACES

    Get PDF
Urban literary studies have become an important issue in contemporary multicultural Sweden, especially after the 70s, when the public housing project Miljonprogram (“Million Programme”) was completed (1974). Nowadays, these areas are partly regarded as a political failure since they have become places of social and even racial segregation. A central cultural consequence of multiculturalism in Sweden is the so-called Invandrarlitteratur (“immigrants’ literature”), mainly represented by second-generation authors. In this article, I will try to provide a concise but exhaustive understanding of how this kind of literature can reshape the Miljonprogram areas and define what Sweden is today. The aim is to show how these suburban spaces, through a chosen collection of three works, are narrated by immigrant authors not as sites, i.e. spaces as such, but rather as places, i.e. spaces whose meaning is provided by the (literary) subjectivities who live and act therein (Prieto 2013). Using the concept of heterotopia (Foucault 1986) and its defining criteria, I will investigate how these works perform a total reassertion of space, emphasizing the space described as rhizomatic (Deleuze & Guattari 2011) peripheries, i.e. the result of a sensitive relationship between self and space. This investigation is designed to reflect on how the perception of suburbs has changed from first to second-generation immigrant writers and it hopes to open a new research line in which stigmatizing dystopias can be replaced by heterotopias

Healthcare knowledge management HKM has attracted extensive attention in the previous years as a strategical partner with the general strategy of organizations. The HKM aims to identify the organization strategic position within the competitive market. The present study tries to answer many questions that formed the study problem including do hospitals and health units depend on the healthcare knowledge storage to perform its strategical tasks and how to run this healthcare knowledge; does the healthcare knowledge transformation represent the main base to attain these especial strategic tasks by identifying its strategic position. A virtual form has been proposed that reflects the interaction relation nature between variables. The virtual form is clarified by the study's main assumption which was tested using data obtained from surveys and other different data collecting methods about different Iraqi hospitals and health units. The study highlighted the significant role of the HKM in hospitals and health units. Also, it was found that the Iraqi hospitals and health units have a growing interest to diagnose its weaknesses to build a strong internal environment. The present study recommends holding training courses continuously to improve the staff’s abilities. In addition, the study recommends establishing environmental analysis units to study and evaluate environmental changes
