Design and Analysis of Single Ended Low Noise Amplifier
In this research article, we propose a Low Noise Amplifier which utilizes 1.748GHz (mid frequency) by employing 0.35µm CMOS technology. Design of Hand Motion Assist Robot for Rehabilitation Physiotherapy
This paper deals about developing a microcontroller based two-axis robot for human hand physiotherapy for the treatment of paralyzed patients. The interactive two-axis motion robot is designed to fit around patient’s arm and work with the patient to reestablish movements of hand by gently moving it in desired direction. The robot moves the patients hand up and down, left and right using servo motor interfaced with it. The motor is controlled by switching ON/OFF the stator winding. The microcontroller generates the switching pulses of the motor; the angular distance and movements are programmable through keys. The robot actively moves the non-responsive body parts allowing it to be a useful tool in all steps of rehabilitation. Note to Practitioners-Compared with cable-driven humanoid arm, a cable less robot is more accurate because a cable driven robot has some drawbacks due to the mismatch of connections. If the connections are mishandled, there is a chance to occur any severe damages. The main drawback is more expensive, very difficult to maintain and clean. This drawback can be rectified by the proposed method. The main feature of this robot is its mobility function
Optimized Wireless Stethoscope Using Butterworth Filter
Acoustic stethoscope is a primary diagnostic tool used by doctors for effective analysis of various diseases. But, it suffers defects such as low level heart sounds and presence of murmurs. This project aims at developing ‘Noise removal in stethoscope using Butterworth filter’. In this, the low level heart sounds were amplified with high gain pre-amplifier circuit. A review of basic filters like low pass RC filter, Butterworth filter, Chebyshev filter and Bessel filter are done for elimination of murmurs and best suited filter is suggested. Finally, amplified noise free heart sounds are simulated using Proteus 7.4. The results prove that efficient filter for designing is ‘Butterworth filter’
Impact of Data Mining Technique in Education Institutions
Major decision making process using large amount of data can be done by various techniques using data mining. In education sectors various data mining techniques are implemented to analyze the student’s data from the admission process itself. Due to large number of educational institution in India, excellence becomes a major parameter for the institutions to grow and with stand. Nowadays education institutions use data mining techniques to show their excellence. The main objective of this work to present an analysis of individual semester wise results of engineering college students using different techniques of data mining. Here we used different classification algorithms like decision tree, rule based, function based and Bayesian algorithms to analyze the semester results and comparison is made by considering parameters like accuracy and error rate. Our output shows the most suited algorithm for analyzing data in educational institutions
Modified Low Power Binary to Excess Code Converter
Utilization of power is a major aspect in the design of integrated circuits. Since, adders are mostly employed in these circuits, we should design them effectively. Here, we propose an easy and effective method in decreasing the maximum consumption of power. Carry Select Adder is the one which is dependent on the design of two adders. We present a high performance low-power adder that is implemented. Also, here in Carry Select Adder, Binary Excess Code-1is replaced by Ripple Carry Adder. After analyzing the results, we can come to a conclusion that the architecture which is proposed will have better results in terms of consumption of power compared to conventional techniques. 
Automatic Speech Recognition in Mobile Customer Care Service
In the project an automatic speech system is used in mobile customer care services. In existing mobile customer care services, customer have to wait for 4 to 5 minutes to get into the option what they want to inquire. Based on the requirement, we go for filtering the incoming calls. Persons who require particular data are dynamically move to speech recognition system that identifies the type of the enquiry chosen. Speech recognition is the one which dynamically identifies the individual speaking based on analyzing the speech waves. It helps in identifying the voice of the speaker to know the recognized user. It also helps in accessing services like telephone banking, mobile shopping, database services and securing the information which is confidential
CUP and DISC OPTIC Segmentation Using Optimized Superpixel Classification for Glaucoma Screening
Glaucoma, an incurable disease related to eyes which results in loss of the vision. Identifying this disease within in a proper period of time is most important, since it cannot be cured. The important aspect of this paper is to detect glaucoma at initial stages. Segmentation in the optic disc necessitates the differentiation of each super pixel by employing Histograms, centre surround statistics. Information location in merged with the above methods in increasing the performance of optic cup segmentation. Optic disc and optic cups are employed to evaluate cup to disc ratio of the disease identified. Neural network is used to extract the patterns and also to detect glaucomatous cells that are too complex to be noticed by either humans or other computer techniques
