Shellfish Management Area 16A - 2025 Annual Update Comprehensive Report
The Department of Environmental Service's Shellfish Sanitation Program's 25 shellfish management areas contain over 450 monitoring stations. This monitoring network provides data that accurately reflects the sanitary conditions of coastal shellfish and shellfish growing waters in South Carolina and ensures that the health of shellfish consumers is protected.
