    Business Resilience and Quality of Life of Timber Smes During the COVID-19 Pandemic in Badung Regency

    Purpose: This knows the influence of business ethics, spiritual behavior, external support and information technology on business resilience and quality of life of logging SMEs during the Covid-19 pandemic in Badung District.   Theoretical framework: The number of wood SMEs during the Covid-19 pandemic in Badung District shows the low business resilience of wood SMEs, which may affect their quality of life. small and medium-sized wood enterprises. Business ethics of small and medium enterprises in the wood industry based on local wisdom in rural areas, the importance of spiritual behavior, external support and the development of information technology are Important studies affecting business resilience and quality of life of small and medium-sized enterprises in the wood industry during the Covid-19 pandemic in Badung. Regent.   Design/Methodology/Approach: This study is quantitative and uses structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis. The respondents of this study are 804 medium-sized industrial small and medium enterprises. And the location of this study is in Badung Regency.   Findings: This shows that, through experiments, it can be seen that the variable of business resilience has a significant influence, each increase in the value of business resilience will improve the quality of life of medium-sized enterprises. and small wood industry, both in terms of social and psychological support. and mental conditions. health,  safety and income levels during the COVID-19 pandemic.   Research, Practical & Social implications: This shows that, through experiments, it can be seen that the variable of business resilience has a significant influence, each increase in the value of business resilience will improve the quality of life of medium-sized enterprises. and small wood industry, both in terms of social and psychological support. and mental conditions. health,  safety and income levels during the COVID-19 pandemic.   Originality/Value:  The performance of wood SMEs will gradually begin to improve thanks to various initiatives undertaken both operationally and commercially

    Article Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Brand Awareness: An Interface in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

    Purpose: Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is defined as the continuing commitment by businesses to contribute to economic development while upholding ethical codes and improving the quality of life in the community and society at large. It broke down corporate social responsibility (CSR) into four parts: economic, legal, ethical, and charity. He did this so that CSR could become a real business practice.   Design/Methodology/Approach: This study is undertaken on 548 sample customers residing in Saudi Arabia for investigating their viewpoints towards the CSR activities carried out by the companies for examining the relationship between Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Brand Awareness. The researchers adopted the Pearson’s Correlation, Simple Regression and Structural Equation Modeling techniques in order to measure the impact of CSR activities on Brand Awareness.   Findings: The outcomes of the study revealed that there is a positive perception of customers towards CSR activities carried out by the companies and the results of structural equation modelling portray that Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Brand Awareness are positively associated. Thus, we can conclude that CSR activities conducted by the companies are the commendable initiatives since in this today’s era of sustainable environment customers are not only worried about the price and quality aspect of the products/services even they are more possessive regarding what the corporate houses are taking the necessary steps for the betterment of the society and the nation at large.   Research, Practical & Social implications: The outcome of the study will throw new light on the impact of Corporate Social Responsibility on Corporate Brand Awareness and also facilitate future research endeavors on CSR. As a matter of fact, the CSR activities implemented by the companies offer a better brand recognition, resulting in greater brand awareness among customers and the society at large

    Moderating Role of Artificial Intelligence Between Leadership Skills and Business Continuity

    Purpose: The objective of the study is to identify the moderating role of artificial intelligence between leadership skills and business continuity.   Theoretical framework: For the said purpose the underpinning support of the concept combination theory has been used to develop the framework of the study and artificial intelligence as a moderator is the main theoretical contribution of the study. The reliability and validity of the instrument was analyzed followed by Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modelling to test the framework of the study.   Design/methodology/approach: For the said purpose the data from 384 respondents was collected through simple random sampling. The questionnaires were adopted based on prior studies and was analyzed using 7-point Likert Scale representing 1 as strongly disagree and 7 as strongly Agree. The data was collected during 2021.   Findings:  The findings revealed that Artificial Intelligence and Leadership Skills both have a significant impact over Business Continuity. Moreover, the findings confirmed the moderating role of artificial intelligence over the relationship between leadership skills and business continuity.   Research, Practical & Social implications:  The study enriched the concept combination theory by confirming the moderating role of artificial intelligence. The findings are significant for the leaders and the organizations that in the current era artificial intelligence is the need of the time and organizations can maintain their sustainability with the help of artificial intelligence.   Originality/value: The study opened the horizons for new research by confirming the need for other factors that may compliment the leadership skills for the growth and continuity of the businesses

    The Impact of Female Leadership Style on Team Creativity in Rising English Education Group in China

    Purpose: Corporate innovation might be slowed by team creativity and other factors. When a company's team creativity is low, innovation suffers, impacting its market competitiveness and technological advancement. Low-creativity teams make more mistakes, slowing down the project and making it more difficult to achieve its goals. Teams who do not innovate will not be able to expand or compete. The impact of female entrepreneurs' leadership styles on team innovation has not been researched in China's education administration. This study will look at how the leadership styles of successful female business owners promote innovative teamwork.   Theoretical framework: This study developed a theoretical model based on the constitutive theory of creativity, with transformational leadership, empowering leadership, authoritative leadership, and participative leadership as independent variables, entrepreneurial team creativity as the dependent variable, team psychological empowerment as the mediating variable, and the nature of the company's business as the moderating variable.   Methodology: This research looks at how strong female leaders help Rise English Educational Organization. This study looks at how different female leadership styles affect group morale, effectiveness, and innovation.   Research, Practical & Social implications: Through a review of existing literature and similar studies, this chapter outlines the theoretical model and related hypotheses of this study and provides a more specific direction for the accompanying empirical investigation. Female team leaders frequently place a high importance on effective communication and collaboration. They promote open dialogue, paying attention, and making valuable comments. These modes of communication make it easier for people to share ideas and collaborate, which is beneficial to team innovation. When their manager is a woman, team members who feel mentally encouraged are more inclined to think imaginatively, take the initiative, and help solve difficulties.   Originality/value: This beneficial relationship between a woman's leadership style and the psychological freedom of the team can encourage team members to be more creative and imaginative. Team psychological strength can help explain the connection between how a woman leads and how creative her team is, but it is not the sole factor influencing team creativity. The objective of the business, the people on the team, and the tools available can all have an impact on team creativity

    The Influence of Various Factors on MSME Halal Certification Behavior: An Analysis With Intention as an Intervening Variable

    Purpose: This research aims to conduct a comprehensive systematic literature review analyzing the impact of Self Declare on the Ease of Obtaining Halal Certification for Indonesian MSME.   Theoretical framework:  In recent years, the concept of Self Declare has emerged as a potential approach to ease the process of obtaining halal certification for MSMEs. Self Declare allows MSMEs to declare their products as halal based on their own understanding and compliance with halal requirements, reducing the bureaucratic burden and cost associated with traditional certification processes. However, the impact of Self Declare on the ease of obtaining halal certification and its implications for the halal industry in Indonesia require further investigation.   Design/methodology/approach: The study employs a quantitative research approach using the SEM-PLS method and the SmartPLS 3.0 software. The respondents of this study consist of MSME owners in Malang City .   Findings:   The findings reveal that halal awareness, halal literacy, perceptions of regulations, and halal certification behavioral intentions have a partial impact on the behavior of obtaining halal certification among MSMEs.  Furthermore, the intention to obtain halal certification mediates the relationship between halal awareness, halal literacy, and the behavior of obtaining halal certification among MSMEs. However, the intention to obtain halal certification does not moderate the relationship between halal literacy and the behavior of obtaining halal certification among MSMEs.   Research, Practical & Social implications: This research provides valuable insights for researchers, policymakers, and practitioners in the halal industry. The findings contribute to the existing knowledge on halal certification in MSME, while the practical and social implications offer actionable recommendations to enhance the ease of obtaining halal certification and promote the growth of the halal industry in Indonesia.   Originality/value: The originality and value of this research stem from its focus on Self Declare, comprehensive analysis, contextual relevance, exploration of mediating mechanisms, and practical implications. These aspects contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of halal certification in MSME and provide actionable insights for stakeholders in the industry

    Purpose: This research explores the impact of disaster resilience, social resilience, organizational resilience, and business resilience on the growth of multinational corporations (MNCs) in Australia. The research aims to investigate the influence of these resilience variables on MNC growth in Australia. Theoretical framework:  The theoretical framework is developed based on the concepts of disaster resilience, social resilience, business resilience, organizational resilience, and MNC growth. Design/methodology/approach: A questionnaire was used as the research instrument to collect data, and the Structural Equation Model (SEM) was employed to determine the relationship between resilience variables and MNC growth in Australia.   Findings: The findings indicate that disaster resilience, social resilience, organizational resilience, and business resilience significantly influence the growth of MNCs in Australia. However, the impact of the epidemic was found to be the primary influencing factor, while disaster resilience and organizational resilience did not have a direct influence on MNC growth in Australia. Research, Practical & Social implications: The study highlights the originality and value of MNCs contributing to resilience variables by implementing risk reduction measures, supporting community preparedness and response, and investing in sustainable and resilient infrastructure. Originality/value: These findings provide insights for MNCs operating in Australia to enhance their resilience strategies and facilitate sustainable growth in the face of various challenges

    Trends and Implications of Caring Economics Research in Indonesia: a Bibliometric Analysis from 2016 to 2022

    Purpose: The aim of this study is to explain the trends of published research on Caring Economics and their implications for the development of future research.   Theoritical Framework: Caring Economics is a novel approach to considering human prosperity. According to conventional economics, prosperity is determined by consumption, income, and wealth. Caring Economics, in contrast, conceives of prosperity in terms of more fundamental causes of long-term human wellbeing. From this perspective, individuals are prosperous when their lives are going well. This feeling of success is not limited primarily to the satisfaction of materialistic demands and desires. Moreover, it contains an interpersonal component.   Design/methodology/approach: This research method is a bibliographic analysis using data from the Google Scholar database, the most popular indexer in Indonesia. To collect data, Harzing Publish or Perish was used with the central database of Google Scholar. VosViewer is also used as a tool to get a map of the relationship between authors and between searched keywords. Furthermore, Microsoft Excel is used to process the data and tree mapping from the data obtained.   Findings: This research is essential to drive the development of a sustainable caring economics paradigm in realizing collective economic prosperity. The results of this study indicate that the type of research with the theme of Caring economics is not widely published, namely 32 publications of research results and conceptual scientific ideas. Focused and Interdisciplinary Journal of Partnership Studies is the most influential journal in Caring Economics research, namely H-index 4. The most cited Caring Economics researcher from 2015 to 2022 is Indra Darmawan, with 4 citations. Silvia Hedenigg followed in second place with 4 citations and Mit Witjaksono with 2 citations. After being traced, Indra Darmawan and Mit Witjaksono came from the State University of Malang. Researcher Silvia Hedenigg comes from Friedensau Adventist University institution.   Research, Practical & Social implications: The results and findings indicate that caring economics research has not been widely studied in economics, economic education, community economics, health, and services related to humans and the economy. Empirically, problems related to concerns in economics, financial education, community economics, health, and services related to humans and the economy must be investigated to solve the issues faced. It is essential to implement caring economics to build the Indonesian economy towards social justice for all Indonesians by realizing a prosperous Indonesia as a whole.   Originality/value: This finding has implications for efforts to encourage academics and researchers in Indonesia to discover caring economics to revitalize the economy from the micro to macro level so that Indonesia's economic fundamentals are getting stronger. In addition, it is recommended for collaborative research between institutions to enrich scientific wealth and develop a more comprehensive research study on Caring Economics

    Analysis of Relationship Between Trade Policy Trends and Unemployment Rates in Iraq

    Purpose: This research aims, to review trends of trade policy in Iraq.   Theoretical framework: identifying the extent of impact of alternative policies aimed at achieving productive diversification on unemployment rates in the long and short term.   Design/methodology/approach: The research sample included data to measure research variables for the period 2004-2020. The ARDL model was used to measure research variables.   Findings: The main conclusion that the trade policy in Iraq continued to operate in isolation from the rest of economic policies, in light of the continued dependence on oil sector and inflexibility of the production system, all of which led to the lack of diversification of economic activity and weaken contribution of non-oil production sectors in produce and creating jobs, which led to continuing dependence on imports and high unemployment rates.   Research, Practical & Social implications: the coordination between trade policy and the rest of economic policies are achieve a wide range of basic sustainable development goals, foremost of which is economic diversification in addition to increasing public revenues, creating opportunities, and diverse work in many fields.   Originality/value: The findings show that success of trade policy in achieving its goals, especially in terms of its ability to influence unemployment rates

    Effect of Capital Structure on the Profitability of Plastic and Packaging Companies Listed in Vietnam

    Purpose: The study aimed to analyse the impact of capital structure on the profitability of plastic and packaging companies listed on the Vietnam Stock Exchange - VNX (HNX, HoSE and Upcom).   Theoretical framework: The study inherits previous studies on the relationship between capital structure and profitability to determine the capital structure that affects profitability.   Design/methodology/approach: Using Qualitative Research (Synthetic Methods; Statistical methods, description; Inductive and interpretive methods) and quantitative research methods (linear regression methods).   Findings: The author has identified two independent variables that represent a capital structure that strongly affects the profitability of enterprises, including: (1) Short-term debt ratio (STD); (2) Long-term debt ratio (LTL).   Research, practical and social implications: Based on the research results, the author offers several discussions and assessments on the critical role of adjusting the optimal capital structure for plastic and packaging companies, in addition to financial solution recommendations aimed at improving profitability for companies.   Originality/value: Through a study of 30 plastic and packaging manufacturing companies, corresponding to 360 observations in the period of 2010 – 2021
