Eficácia e segurança de longo prazo dos análogos de GnRH em meninos com puberdade precoce central: uma revisão sistemática
Esta revisão sistemática tem como objetivo principal sintetizar a evidência científica disponível sobre a eficácia e a segurança de longo prazo do tratamento com análogos do hormônio liberador de gonadotrofina (GnRHa) em meninos com diagnóstico de puberdade precoce central (PPC). O projeto busca responder a uma questão clínica estruturada (PICO): Em meninos com PPC, a intervenção com GnRHa, quando comparada à observação ou não tratamento, é eficaz para melhorar a altura adulta final e quais são seus efeitos em longo prazo sobre a saúde óssea e metabólica na vida adulta. O propósito central é fornecer uma síntese crítica e metodologicamente rigorosa da literatura existente, uma vez que a evidência atual para a população masculina é considerada menos robusta e derivada principalmente de estudos observacionais de pequena escala, com heterogeneidade significativa e sem grupos controle adequados. Espera-se que os resultados desta revisão ofereçam aos clínicos e decisores uma visão consolidada e avaliada quanto ao risco de viés sobre os benefícios na estatura final e, de forma crucial, sobre os possíveis impactos tardios na saúde óssea e metabólica, que permanecem como áreas de grande incerteza. Os resultados esperados incluem uma descrição qualitativa narrativa dos achados, a identificação de lacunas metodológicas na literatura atual e a elaboração de recomendações direcionadas para a prática clínica e para uma agenda de pesquisa futura, enfatizando a necessidade de estudos comparativos de longo prazo que acompanhem os indivíduos até a idade adulta. O protocolo da revisão foi prospectivamente registrado e o relatório seguirá as diretrizes PRISMA

El proyecto IC-H (Ingeniería Cognitiva Humana) se fundamenta en el modelo de Ciencia Abierta, donde el laboratorio se desplaza del entorno clínico al entorno cotidiano del ciudadano. Este enfoque permite una recolección masiva de datos sobre la gestión de la entropía sistémica, la acidosis intersticial y la mecanotransducción, variables tradicionalmente difíciles de monitorear a escala poblacional.

The mediating role of temporal landmarks on shape preferences
We will conduct an online experiments to examine the effect of temporal landmarks (start versus end) on individuals’ shape preferences (circular versus angular). Specifically, we will test whether temporal landmarks influence shape preferences and whether this effect is mediated by ego depletion
Lexical-Semantic Processing and Memory for Words of Cognition and Motivation
Multiple representation theories suggest that we use various sources of information to represent concepts, such as social, emotional and sensorimotor information. The theories assume, further, that abstract concepts tend to rely more heavily on internal information than concrete concepts. However, these internal sources of information have not been researched as extensively as the external, and more sensorimotor-heavy, sources used for concrete word grounding. The purpose of this research is to investigate two recently developed semantic dimensions involved in abstract word grounding: cognition and motivation. Initial research on cognitive words suggests that these mental-state words show lexical-semantic processing benefits, but memory disadvantages (Muraki et al., 2022). This pattern is rare; semantic dimensions that enhance processing also tend to show memory advantages (Hargreaves et al., 2012). This study will investigate whether this pattern of lexical-semantic processing benefits and less accurate memory for high-cognition words generalizes to a newly developed list of 8,000 words and their associated cognitive ratings (Corenblum & Pexman, 2025). A second aim of this research is to test whether the cognition dimension is distinct from another newly-identified internal source of information: motivation (Giurgea et al., 2025). Words high in motivation also showed the rare pattern of facilitated lexical-semantic processing and less accurate memory. We will include both dimensions in an analysis of lexical decision responses to test whether cognition and motivation separately account for significant variance in lexical-semantic processing. In addition, we will investigate whether cognition and motivation separately account for significant variance in recognition memory accuracy.
As mentioned, when a source of semantic information increases processing speed, it also tends to improve memory. However, words high in cognition and motivation show enhanced processing, but decreased memory performance. In the previous studies that reported these discrepancies (Giurgea et al., 2025; Muraki et al., 2022), the authors argued that this may be due to high meaning similarity between words that are highly cognitive or highly motivational. To test this explanation, we will use words’ number of synonyms as a measure of meaning similarity. The number of synonyms will be included as a predictor in analyses of lexical decision and memory performance to determine whether high item similarity can explain effects of cognition and motivation
Invisible Wounds: A Systematic Narrative Review of Domestic Violence Against Women
This project documents a systematic narrative review examining the global prevalence, patterns, and health-related consequences of intimate partner violence and domestic violence against women. The review synthesizes evidence from peer-reviewed studies published between January 2020 and June 2025, focusing on prevalence estimates, mental health outcomes (including depression, PTSD, and anxiety), healthcare utilization, and intervention or screening strategies.
The review follows PRISMA 2020 guidance for study identification and selection and includes observational studies, randomized controlled trials, and multicenter validation studies conducted across diverse geographical regions. Due to substantial heterogeneity in study design, populations, and outcome measures, findings are summarized using narrative synthesis without quantitative pooling.
No primary data were collected, and no human participants were directly involved. This OSF project serves to improve transparency and reproducibility of the review process
